*It was all happening to fast for Kalie to securely catch on to everything happening around her. But that was the point wasn't it? She would become too rushed to question his actions, as she lunged after 'Kargin', her hand reaching down to loop the 'rope' around her wrist several times as a precaution. The wall to the steep opening, reaching upward as Kalie took hold of a shallow indentation in the wall and began to climb after 'Kargin'.*

((I don't know where exactly you want us to be, so I'll just appear outside the cube...))
*Darz emerges, surrounded by a swirl of Chaos, from the realm he'd last been hunding clones in. His eyes and glasses are flashing, full of the very energy that envelopes him. He seems far too in command of his faculties for what he controls. The second the portal closes, Darz looks around to get his bearings. He's landed exactly where in the Razor Fields he'd targeted, but he doesn't recognize one, important thing -- the mechina called by Mindblaze. Stepping closer to it, he begins to wonder if this is the final battle he's been looking forward to.*
Hmm? A test is in order.
*With that, simple phrase, Darz points the full palm of his right hand at the nearest wall. He barely even seems to flex as a stream of Black energy rushes towards the wall. He knows that mechina, unless desgined around it, cannot take any but Natural energy. The stream is enough to melt and buckle an entire battle-class cruiser's hull. This is, as Darz put it however, only a test of the cube -- an opening attempt to breach.*

Vince hopped down from the top of the palace, landing near the protective field and Darz, lighting a cigarette and sighing. "I tried it already, blocked off. Someone doesn't want us inside." He rubbed his forehead with his left hand, having not used his right hand yet.
"They were all weak bastards, but they pissed me off to no end. One got me in the arm when I wasn't looking. How'd you fair?" He looked to Darz, as if he were interested, possibly because he might actually be.

((For future reference there is a rather large/deep hole in the ground with a barrier of energy shielding the top, and sorta down the sides. The location is on the outskirts of the underside of the Palace. The suns are just passing over the palace and will begin to beat down into the hole within minutes.))
Deep within the Well of Lost Souls, The Cube sits in silence, the tumultuous activities within completely sheltered from detections by the outside world. Kalie was still being led on by an illusion of Kargin, her surroundings slowly working against her to trap her within a sphere of force, then seperate mind from body, eventually allowing Mindblaze to live with her for all eternity in the visage of Torment. It would be their perfect paradise. All the while Kargin was learning new ways of painting the walls metallic red with neon blue tints, most notably semisolid spears of metaphysical mental energies infused with pure death creating nice large gouging holes in his abdomen.
After Vincent arrives and has some time to look around a single, though all too familiar presence makes himself known. A shimmering portal rimmed in blue flames with a long corridor extending back into extraplanar space, hued in deep purple with red and blue flames dancing along the ground. Flaming spires of crimson trailed behind him as he seemed to be rushing towards Darz and Vince at great speed, skidding to a stop as the aura of red faded away and slowly receeded into Viper's Ruby. With a brief shake of his wings the feathers burst into flame, remaining as such in pure. He looked to Darz and Vince, in turn, "I'll need you here to get her to safety, but you can't come with me. I haven't a clue what will happen to me down there, but regardless, I can't let her come to harm. Sacrifice....everything...can't let it happen." He began taking Viper's ruby off his neck.

*Still following along like a little lost puppy as it were.. Kalie began to squirm around in a manner of speaking from the section of the well wall that she had a firm grip on. Her chin dropping and rising to get a better look, was it really that deep, and still such a long way up? She couldn't remember falling that far..but maybe she did.*
"Kargin.. shouldn't it end soon, I mean shouldn't we be almost out or something."
*She still hadn't moved, Kalie was still paused on the side of the wall, the doubt and question in her voice ever increasing with every word..*

Vince sighed, watching it without too much to care, nodding to him once his little speaking part was finished. "Yessir. And take care of that body, I don't need excrutiating pain rushing through my body like I were being you." He took off his slightly tattered shirt, revealing his wing and letting it sprawl out, waiting quietly for the one he was suppoed to take to safety to show up.

*While the real Kalie remained tucked away in a spherical cage, the conscious that existed far below her dreaming face crawled out of the well. A faint wave of security coming over her, as her eyes gazed over the home she shared with Tor. Flinching in her 'sleep', her eyes moved rapidly under the cover of silken lashes in reaction to the glance she was taking at the Well of Souls. Moving her hand to cover Kargin's, she turned and looked at him worriedly...*
"How do we make sure he doesn't come back out, before I can warn Torment ?"

~~"Kargin"-Kalie~~
Kargin spit up a small bit of blue blood, "I've...contacted him. He's coming. The b*****d down...there...won't be getting up for at least another half hour. Neural. Inhibitors." He collapsed down onto his knees, running out of physical strength and stimuli to keep him conscious. Despite being an illusion he still acted real.

*With emotions becoming rapidly triggered with the realistic events, in all appearances, taking shape around Kalie. Her conscious readily began accepting the illusionary performance as truth, and the world as she knew it. With the seed planted, her mind and true self would slowly spilt, her body requiring the benefits of the real world to survive rather then waste away, leaving a manifestation of herself to dwell in the Eden MindBlaze spun in her head. The metallic bubble existing around Kalie was a prison and salvation, were anything to breech the sphere and inflict physical harm. She would have no immediate reaction aside from the physical one, till her life itself was cut off. While on the other side, if the manifestation took injury, a reflection of the wound would be inflicted upon her counterpart. After all, the mind is what makes it real.*
*Resting beside Kargin, Kalie would wait..and watch the Well, taking an occasional gaze across the fields behind her. The thought of seeing Tor again, the only reason for her smile, dire circumstance or not, she wouldn't mind having him back within easy reach.*

*A haze of Chaos still overshadows Darz's eyes, and his shades flicker with the same chaotic state. However, he does hear Vincent. He also responds as a completely reasonable, logical man. If one were to call a channeler of pure Chaos that, however, one would have to wonder at one's own sanity. Darz may be Chaos Afflicted, but he is far short of insane. The fact that his voice is monotone and unemotional shouldn't go unnoticed. He is no longer the "emotionless wonder", as Torment put it, due to the careful prodding of his wife, Tarma. However...he seems to have returned to a much similar state, speaking as he does now.*
Weak. Pitiful. Pathetic. They all tried to use Chaos against me. There was one challenge, but that being still held foolish notions.
*It's about this time that Viper makes his grand appearance. Darz is unphased. How is it that such a man even exists? The only thing that seems ruffled his his hair by the sudden burst of wind created from the expanding air due to the heat. Other than that, Darz remains non-chalant. He remains as if this were an everyday thing, uncaring towards the danger that looms within Viper. When Darz looks to him, after listening to the explaination, the expression is cold and emotionless. Chaos glazes over his eyes, mixing and dilating. It appears as if Darz's body still overflows with the Chaos of the realm he was just in. His voice remains monotone, and almost far too relaxed, as he speaks, again.*
If I be assigned the role of protector, I shall play the part.

Torment said nothing else, concentrated on the Well. His right hand seemed to melt and shift as a rod nearly half his height extended outward from his hand, gripped near the top, a third the way down. A semicircle extended around the grip as several small glowing points of light flashed into existence. The artifact seemed to be composed of a bright blue flame with gems set at the top, on either side, both a deep crimson. In his left hand three ice-blue claws seemed to jut out the back of his hand as he warped his hand around a small rod that extended back into his arm, pulling it free. The trident-like rod seemed to be composed entirely of ice with a brilliant aura that only continued to grow as Torment approached the barrier. The Fist of Forgotten Sins and the trident, Wave, were ready to aid him in the epic struggle. Two great purple wings extended out his back, composed entirely of flame, slowly taking on a bright blue flame. As he approached the barrier he could hear the voices of Kalie and Kargin in his head, forcing him onward. This fight would have to be one on one, Darz, Vince, and even Viper would have to stay behind. He paused and looked upon the barrier, eyes begining to flare, and with a tremendous blast of energy the fight would begin.
As the dust began to clear it was evident Torment was already gone, flying headfirst down into the chasm of long forgotten fear, dreams, and ambitions as images flared across the walls of The Well. In his descent the great wings of purple flame burst out from his shoulder blades, giving extra force with tremendous blasts of flame behind him to work against the hurricane forcee winds meant to keep anyone out. Whoever this captor was knew much more about him than he liked to reveal to anyone. Indeed he did, and Torment feared, nay, he was sure that the captor had to be another incarnation of Soulscour, some Shade of himself twisted and wanting power, love, or maybe just life.
As he reached the bottom of the Chasm he found the area cleared away and changed to that of a rather large temple, Greek in design, a drastic change from what Mindblaze had at the bottom mere minutes before. As he stepped between the massive columns and into the temple the way out was barred by another field of energy, the inside of the temple growing larger until it seemed to be an exact duplicate of the Cube he had been trapped within earlier. Floating in the center of the Cube was Kalie, or so it seemed, bound, gagged, and seemingly having been raped. What little clothing she had left was torn to shreds as her pale skin seemed to be burned in several places, something Torment knew must have been excruciatingly painful for her. With a single burst from his giant wings of flame, though they were unnecessary in flight, he was bourne up towards her at great speed. He began to unchain her and try to awaken her, but she seemed traumatized. He kept trying to wake her as he finally got her free, though this small victory was short lived.
Her eyes darted open as he held her in his embrace, her voice deep and twisted by evil, “Hello lover.” Whereby she head butted him and threw him to the ground with a tremendous blast of energy. This went far beyond just being that time of the month.

*The longer the manifestation sat at the edge of the Well of Souls, the more her concern grew. Where was Torment.. and what had happened below. She wanted him to be okay, to survive. What ever was now trapped at the bottom was looking for him at the least. But what if he was already dead.. She still didn't know what had happened to Soulscour, but even Kalie knew enough. to see the blatant difference between Soulscour and the monster below.*
*Inching up in a ball, she set her chin atop her knees, feeling the tiny droplet of moisture caress her cheek as it was given birth from her saddened eyes.* "Be alive."
*While Kalie was technically out of the loop, mentally speaking. Physically she remained in the cage, her body hanging limp with the metal sphere, except for one lone tear. The little crystalline dew drop glittering across it's mistress' pale skin in a tumble to her chin.*

~'Kargin'-Kalie-'Torment'~
Almost as if in responce to her mental state, her knight in shining armor descended. He didn't waste a moment as he dropped from the sky, unleashing a pillar of cleansing flame down into the Well. He stopped only long enough at the rim to flash Kalie a smile and then to dive back down in. Several tense moments passed until Torment reemerged with a charred corpse, "Even though he's an evil, twisted b*****d, he deserves a proper burial. Kalie, would you like to do the honors?" He flipped what had been Mindblaze onto the ground and a field of energy wrapped itself around him with a small sign that said kick me, which was pointing to a button right where his crotch would be. Torment smiled, "Kick hard now. Nice burial at sea, far enough down to crush him into nothingness."
~Torment-Mindblaze~
Torment hit the ground and slowly stood, whiping a bit of blood from his lip, "What are you?!" Mindblaze simply laughed as he returned to his normal form, a red mist begining to gather in the area as he returned to the earth. He appeared much like Torment and Vince, if the two were twisted and combined into one.
The mist began to increase in area and density exponentially as Mindblaze started his lecture, "I am what you should be. That b*****d you call Soulscour wasn't enough to be rid of you, so I had to take matters into my own hands. I was born from that small part of you that enjoyed every last thing you did when you were possessed by The Serpent, magnified by an Alienist that tried to kill me, your first True Duplicate after those events. I took over her body, her mind, and anything you might call a soul in such a disgusting person. The biggest help to bringing me to how I am now was Vince. Yes, lovable, flaming, smoking, corner-sitting Vince. That Image, the first of the Soulscours, I created him in my own image, not yours. I am the one that gave your better half the power to oppose you. Whispering in his mind, feeding him strength, fueling his rage against you. Pity, really, the only way you could have contained him was to keep him in your own mind. You brought that one upon yourself. Hell, I'm not complaining, he gave me this wonderful ability to go without a body. Its wonderful, really. Saves me so much on heating bills. Now, once I get you out of the way I'm, going to live with Kalie in the one place where you won't be able to help her, her own mind. We'll live in bliss for all eternity, and I can guarantee she'll learn to enjoy what I'll be putting her through when we ******** at every possible opportunity. Hell, its our private world, better than anything you could do for her. If I get my way we'll never stop ******** and she'll be able to climax until she thinks her body can't take it anymore, and she has to stop, but I doubt I'd even stop then. All I am is thought, what we see in our mind's eye can be shaped however we want. I would be better for her than you ever could be, in EVERY way. If I ever decide to leave her for even a few moments you can be sure that it'll involve killing everyone you know and love beyond her. Even those you have even just barely grown attached to, and I'll do it all looking like you so they go to their grave damning you to hell."
Torment narrowed his eyes at him, "We really need to learn how to get to the point and shut the ******** up. Tell me, am I always like this? So damn verbose. Geez."
Mindblaze was a bit set back, "I'm about to kill you and all you're concerned about is how much we talk?"
Tor shrugged, "Death threats just don't hold water anymore, plus, you kinda bored me after the first 70 minutes."
Mindblaze yelled back, "I wasn't even talking for 70 minutes!"
Tor smirked, "I know, but it gave me time to do this. WING SHARDS!" Blades of blue flame darted out from his wings, passing right through Mindblaze, not harming him in the least.
Now it was Mindblaze's turn to smirk, "Ow, flaming pieces of your wings. I'm hurt. Are you going to hit me with a Burning Hands now? Oh noes! Idiot."
Five missiles of pure force energy flew out from his outstretched hand and smacked Torment around, each exploding upon impact, the last sending him to the ground with a sickening crack as his jaw connected with the metal floors, fracturing it in at least two places. Mindblaze took this opportunity to thrust a blade up from the floor of The Cube, passing right through Tor's ribcage and puncturing a lung. A second thrust out at an angle, the long thing blade passing through the botton of his mouth and out the front, just missing his teeth.
Torment gasped in pain at first, and then only gargled as his mouth filled with blood and he lost the ability to both breathe properly and utilize his mouth. He laid there twitching for a moment, coughing up blood as the blades ripped apart his mouth and chest. The blades slowly retracted and he rolled over onto his side, blood pouring from his mouth as he tried to breathe at least somewhat again.

*Within the metallic bubble, things would change ever so slightly from just one thought. Glancing between the charred body and Tor, Kalie shook her head, a cold look looming over her face the longer her eyes remained locked on the body. It wasn't the request, she already opted not to nail the deceased in the family jewels, he did after all look like Tor under all the ash.*
*Becoming enveloped in lacy frost, the tear at the base of her chin would beak away from her physical form to take a suicidal dive. Shattering, the ice would appear as nothing more then a handful of short lived sparkles. Just as the question, feeding the cold, shattered in her mind, proving to slow the alternate reality from her perspective. The existence of the body is what troubled Kalie, why bring the body back? He had never bothered to before. Better yet, what had eased the rage that drove Torment to incinerate every copy of himself that came within distance of her. It was if someone had rewritten the ending to a classic fairy tale, and tweaked it only in detail. You would never notice unless the story had unfolded so many times before.*
