I don't like the trumpet. It's sound is so terrible. Maybe it's just because all the trumpeters in my band suck... rolleyes
Actualy, I don't like the flute, even though I play it. sweatdrop The flutes in all of the bands I've been in are constantly out of tune. And combined with their high pitch... *shiver*. domokun However, flutes that are in tune sound great.

Clarinet. It's irritating to have to compete with three of them and you're only one sax. Plus they're all squeaky and squawky and are never in tune with each other, even AFTER tuning.
(9 person band; 3 clarinets, 1 Alto Sax (moi!), 1 baritone, 2 trumpets, and 2 percussionists.)

trombone... nothing against the people who play the instrument.. but.. well, i feel that trombone kinda .. BLARES the sound.... so i don't really like the sound of it.. but it's more of a "don't really like" rather than a "hate"

Hmm...even though I play one and ENJOY playing it (along with my LOVELY Lovely FLUTE)...I personally do not like the Piccolo...it's too small...and too high pitched...and most of the time, if the Piccolo player doesn't know how to really play, they ruin the song...NUFF SAID!

I like them all, but if I had to choose, it would be the saxophones. I've known too many jerk saxes. >.>

TRUMPET
All the trumpets at my school suck. It's painful to hear them try to play. Seriously... you'd think they'd learn to play a freakin note right after playing the stupid instrument since the 6th grade.

I absolutely hate the sound of a saxophone. Plus they're all so damn cocky. I hate airy sounding flute players too.
I'm clarinet myself but I plan to switch to trombone. Don't laugh.

In our band, the least liked instrument tends to be the piccolos. (The running joke is if you want two of them to play in tune, shoot both of them). Flutes were annoying too, but that was just because there were too many of them. Half of the symphonic band last year was flutes.

The saxes. They were always playing ahead and messing everyone else up.

i don't like most high school trombone players. it takes a lot to be good at that instrument, it seems, since i've only heard a handful in my lifetime that can play it really well.
