Remus watched carefully as this bladed whirlwind approached. He waited until the last moment... There was a loud clashing as the metal blades collided. His sword stopping the first one, he caught her wrist as the second blade was about to come in contact.
Remus smiled a little. "Pulling out all the stops for this one huh?" He pushed back, throwing her away from him. He lept after her, slashing downwards.

Lina smiled as she heard this, "I would like it no other way," she replied, letting herself fall backwards, slicing upwards as she touched the floor, only to leap towards him, blocking the blow.

Remus wasted no time as she parried his attack. He spun around in a circle, the flat of the blade aimed to come in contact with her ankles. It was risky, but he would chance it. No risk meant no gain. No gain meant no victory.

Rikku sat by the lake for a while gazing out at it, she glanced down at the spot on her shoulder where Remus had bitten her, then she turned around and headed for the city

sensing someone behind her Rikku suddenly stopped and changed into hybrid form, she stared back down the trail until she realised it was Lex following her "oh its you, where have you been for the past while?"

As soon as Lex saw the wolf she unsheathed her sword and stared at it "is that you Rikku?" she took a cautious step forward as she spoke

suppressing a low growl in her throat Rikku glared over at Lex "don't ever hunt wolves again, defend yourself if you must but dont attack them for food, tell the others as well. and if you must know it was Remus who bit me" as she said this she showed Lex the bite marks on her shoulder

Lex suddenly taken by surprise stepped back "he bit you? why? and of course ill tell everyone but you realise everyone will question you against why your stopping an old tradition"

"i know that they will but it doesnt matter and i asked him to i was tired of only being able to shapeshift on a new or full moon. When most of the time i needed to be able to change when i couldnt" sighing softly she asked "is anyone else out hunting?"

nodding Rikku looked at Lex "run back to the city and tell everyone that if they hunt wolves they'll have to answer to me, im going to go find the others" with that Rikku ran into the forest
