(Um, is that right?) Great! Though your spelling of "etou" is a bit unusual... I most often see that as "eeto" or "etto". ITEMhunter Oh..! I thought you were to put を(wo) if の(no) was a partcle.. as is わ = は No, the only particles where the pronunciation diverges from the kana are は (pronounced わ as a particle), へ (pronounced え as a particle) and を (always a particle, usually pronounce お) Pinsesjan Genki desu, Hajimemashita! (I don't think that's right...) Hajimemashita -> Hajimemashite Hajimemashite would usually be the first thing you say when introduced to someone. Shukumei Kiyoshi Sore wa ii desu ne. Ichigo wa suki desu ka? I think Ichigo ga suki desu ka is better, since the subject of strawberries is just being introduced. (Edit: accidentally wrote "suke" in place of "suki". Sorry to anyone I confused. 申し訳ありません。ごめんなさい。Moushiwake arimasen. Gomen-nasai. There's no excuse, I'm sorry.)

I went to the theater last week,
but there was no good movies. Not too bad... for a destination, you need to use ni or (h)e; (w)o used with a motion verb marks the starting place, so you said you went out of the theater. As for your "but", "demo" is used at the start of a sentence, not in the middle (you can use "ga" there), and you never follow "demo" with ga ga arimasen->wa arimasen deshita. You generally use wa in place of ga or wo with negative verbs. Also, this should be in the past tense. sugoi "terrific/terrible" might be too strong for this sentence, maybe omoshiroi "interesting" would be better. Over all, I'd make that, 先週、私は映画館に行きましたが、面白い映画はありませんでした。 Senshuu, watashi wa eigakan ni ikimashitaga, omoshiroi eiga wa arimasen deshita.

わたし わ １７ です Nice try. こにちとぁ⇒こんにちは わたし わ⇒わたし は (The common particle pronounced "wa" is written with the kana for "ha") イレァんヅ⇒アイルランド or アイアランド (both are in the edict Japanese->English dictionary, but only the first comes up automatically in the IME and is probably the more correct.) わたし わ 17 です⇒わたし は 17 さい です (sai is the counter for years of age. Almost everything that is counted gets some sort of counter attached to the number.)
