Groggy tired, a long cab ride only offered a shaky nap one that Carlos would enjoy as he was resting up, something that was hard for him as of late. When the cab stopped he opened his eyes still feeling tired but able to pay the driver and step out as his things were taken out of the trunk for him. Not much considering, a large bag full of clothes and what few possesion he dare bring. The cab driver then waved him off and hopped back into the drivers seat to go attend to some other fair.
Carlos stood only 5'11 and dressed in a blue button up shirt and baggy cargos held to his waist by a black leather belt, his feet sporting new running sneakers. He hoisted the bag up to his shoulder and walked past the gate to what should become his new home. The sun seem to be faded, and he reached to his face to remove the pair of mirror shades he was wearing and place them in his shirt pocket. His eyes were a huge contrast to his features, black short hair and tanned skin, the red eyes looked severly misplaced more so as they were slightly baggy from lack of sleep.
His condition was more apparent as he walked though balanced, his stride was sluggish. It took him weeks to decide weather to come or not. His mother tried to help him cope with his problems but she wasn't succeeding as he was becoming worse and worse. When Professor Xavier spoke to him over the phone he sounded sincere enough, and something about him just made Carlos feel in control of himself. As soon as he made it to the fron he opened the door and stepped in. He then paused closing the door behind him. He was a lost, the mansion looked more impressive on the inside, but more awe inspiring is the small number of people moving about just in the entrance hall. He looked around and found himself at a lost not too sure what to do next.

Kevin waited in Dr. Nicks waiting for her to get out first. When he looked at her though, he had a feeling that he was going to up to the mansion by himself. And he was correct. Eventhough Dr. Nicks was the social worker who worked out for Kevin to go here, she said she wasn't on too good turms with the head of the institute.
Dr. Nicks helped Kevin take out the litte things he had with from the two years he lived on his own after running away from his Uncle Rio's house. When he first asked Dr. Nicks if he was going to go live with him again she said that Kevin's uncle didn't care what happened to him and when Dr. Nicks told him about Xavier's, Rick (Rio's real name) just said to send him to the "leaper island". Kevin guessed that was the last conversation Dr. Nicks ever wnated to have with Uncle Rio, and he couldn't blame her.
After a short goodbye, Dr. Nicks drove away. Now walking up toward the door Kevin was wondering if the Bens (the super-powered creatures Kevin creates with his mutant powers) would be his only friends. He guessed the were more students as lonely and as hurt as he was, maybe worse. But he didn't have a smile on his face when he knocked on the door. Yeah he could make friends, but that doesn't mean he had to like the X-Men. Eventhough he didn't beleive in all his Uncle's brainwashing like hating all mutants, but he still blamed the X-Men for not saving his parents or his cousin Mitch. As the door started to open Kevin's heart raced with excitement of joy and anger.

"That'd be nice..", Narcissa flashed the boy another smile, her eyes having followed Rachel again out the room. "I can sort of fly...", her nose scruched up a tad in thought, her eyes flashing lightly. " But only when I absorb enough light.. It's not like your ability... I've got to be careful..."
She trailed off then, her form shifting almost uncomfortably as she then suddenly changed the topic. "Are you thirsty?", she rose from the chair, moving towards the cubboards, peeking through them until she found the glasses.. "I am.. Would you like anything?"

Samara walked off as the workers kept on with the house. Walking up to her large trunk, she opened it with a strange looking key. Digging through, she pulled up a large black hat box, withdrawing a deep red pencil from it. Eyeliner.
Holding up a small mirror, she applied the crimson eyeliner, smiling at the effect. Placing the box back where it came from, she pulled out a bustier type top and a flowing black knee length skirt. Looking around, she noticed the workmen's port-a-potty and went to change in there.
Walking back to the group, she tied her hair up in a bone clip, the black pearls that adorned her ears now visible. "That's better, I look more presentable now."

Zion watched the white-haired speed demon get buzzed off an inhaler. She chuckled as she went through one of the bags of her clothing that still sat on the lawn. When she found what she was looking for she went into the half finished house and into a bathroom. When she came out five minutes later her hair was down from it's usual pony-tail and she was wearing a black bikini that only covered what needed to be covered and that was it. A dark red sarong was tied and hung loosly on her waist as she walked to the pool in dark red flip flops. They weren't one hundred dollar ones like some people but they kept her feet from getting dirty.
Along with dressing she had grabbed a cooler and filled it with the hidden alchohol from her old room that lucky for her no one had found. Smirnoff Twisteds, Coors Light, Mikes Hard Lemonade and one big bottle of coconut rum filled the cooler as she set it next to the pool. Zion flipped open the top and grabbed the rum and a bottle of smirnoff. She took a quick shot off the bottle of rum then chased it with the smirnoff. "Anyone else want any?"
"Yeah sure. Pepsi if we have any...if not then just water." He watched Narcissa and noticed when she became uncomfortable. He got up and followed her to the counter and put a hand on her shoulder. "You don't have to feel uncomfortable talking about things around me...well the things you choose to share with me that is." He gave her a small smile of a comforting manner. He didn't know what he felt for this girl all he knew is that she seemed upset and he just wanted to hold her until she felt better.

Samara looked through the cooler, shaking her head. "What's a Scottswoman to do without Scotch?" She picked up a lemonade and drank a sip, cringing at the weakness of the alcohol. "You American dinna know how to drink!" Her accent was forcefully thick as she rejoined the group.
"That white haired kid, he's kind of a mad man isn't he?" she asked, watching Pietro zoom back and forth.

OOC: This is what happens when you watch commercials while posting.
IC: Somewhere between the taste of the sweet inhaler and the magic pixies that were telling him to do things, lyrics came into Pietro's head. It may have been due to Pietro's newfound culturalism, or possibly because he liked Starbucks.
"Time clocks by, I never get a minute Gonna take my time, Before a-something'init
Ohhhhhhhhhhh Time clocks by Lalala...lala win it Beofre I get a drink of thi wonderful stuffs..."
Actually, Starbucks sounded good. Starbucks mixed with Amaretto. Oh HELL yeah. Indeed, the narration in Pietro's mind became as slack as his decency (the fact that he was still mostly clothed was a relative miracle). But oh yeah, Starbucks...
0.738 seconds later, several TrippleVentiNonfatDoubleWhip Mochas adorned the picnic tables, of which about half were soon spiked. Alone, coffee is only mildly stimulating, and amaretto is only mildly intoxicating. Mixed, however, and their respective effects were amplified severalfold.
And then Pietro began to dance.

Samara smiled sickeningly as her eyes began to cloud over black. She loved causing mischief with her powers. Pietro danced as two deadened hands reached out of the ground, grabbing onto his ankles.
She looked around at the others and at him, wanting to get a real taste of his reaction. Her eyes went back to normal as she watched.

Rolling her eyes at Samara, Valerie made a pffting noise and turned her attention away from the unfolding drama and looked at coffee on the picnic tables, Mizu tugged her skirt and shook his head. Valerie knew she couldnt have any kind of caffine stimulants as they affected her powers but sometimes she wished she would drink coffee and become over hyper than she was naturally.
"Well this is one live party..."
The blonde took her feet out of the water putting Mizu down beside the pool, she got up and walked to her packed bags next to the tree she left them near and rummaged around inside, pulling out a dark brown bottle with small lable reading 'Choya Sake'. A small smile spread on her face as she rejoined Mizu who blinked when he saw the bottle in her hands. A few moments later he clapped loudly glad his master was 'getting with the party mood'...he remembered the last time she portook in Sake and nearly flooded her home out...
"At last....maybe we'll see some more destruction by the end of the day....one can only hope!"
The little element could only wish, sighed he began to daydream about the ex-neighbours cat...and how he could get back to torturing it without Valerie noticing!

Pietro frowned at the pair of hands that came up to stop his dancing. Stupid hands. They were probably sent by that ******** pink bunny that commanded everything the MAN had in store to try to bring Pietro down. He kicked one of his feet at a vibration frequency of approximately 4700 hz, which gave them a cutting power slightly more effective than a chainsaw though his bones would shatter if he used it on anything much harder than a piece of wood. For half-decayed zombie hands, however, they were quite effective, and tiny bits of finger shot off in all directions.
OOC: Holy s**t that’s disgusting, lol.
IC: Pietro didn’t seem to notice, though, and continued to dance, looking for a partner though it was likely none could keep up, at least not as long as the recent string of disco songs kept playing.
Dance yeah, hey nothing left for me to do but dance Off these bad times I'm going through just dance, hey Got canned heat in my heals tonight baby
Hey I've got to dance yeah Off the nasty things that people say Dance yeah, but I'm gonna make it anyway Dance yeah, got canned heat up my heels tonight baby
Napoleon Dynamite could eat his heart out.

Valerie took a swig from her precious bottle of Sake and cheered slightly when Pietro broke free of the zombie hands. Laughing when chunks of finger flew into the swimming pool. Mizu looked at a piece of skin floating around on the surface of the water and toddled over to the edge of the pool and started poking the dead skin with tiny fingers.
"Dont touch that....you dont know where its been....or who its been on!"
The teen stood up and moved away from the water with a mild look of disgust on her face. Mizu was happily oblivious to the world as he furiously stabbed his small hand at a finger that had drifted his way pouting every now and again when it would drift away.
"I thought that would have slowly Speedy down for at least a few minutes..."
Valerie rolled her eyes as she sat back down a small way away from the pool and from her gross Elemental friend.

Kevin came in the institue looking around to see if anyone was around. He just wanted a friend to talk to. He decided he'll start looking for one as soon as he went to his room first. As he was going to his room he decided he needed to learn more about the X-Men: Their members, their powers, their strengths, their weaknesses, and their enemies. Kevin wasn't going to tell anyone his hate for the X-Men though, unles he find others that felt the same way.
He now had three goals to complete. One was to make friend. The second was to learn about the X-Men. And the third was to help take down the X-Men. He decided he needed to make friends first, so he went to the kitchen to meet someone.

Damion had nothing agains alcohal or drugs (As long as they were semi-legal such as Piedro's inhaller) but seeing as how Piedro was high and Valerie seemed to be getting rather drunk it seemed that it would be in his own best interest to stay sober, at least until later. These were the primary thoughts running through Damion's head even though at the moment he was wondering if he had already done so seeing as how undead arms "usualy" don't just pop out of the ground and how people "usualy" tend to notice when they do.
"Yah, I'm pretty sure that that's a f*cking hand"
He sighed thinkin of the abnormalities he supposed he would have to get used to. jumping into the water. Being able to turn into a shadow a whem may not be quite as exciting of an ability when in the water as Valerie's obvious elemental powers but it did allow him to brush against dimensions that could not normaly even be concidered so it was okay. He undid his shoes and dived into the water with pretty much all of his cloathes on. If noone else was going to get in then he might as well he thought as he turned into a dark form spiking out into all directions from his small area in the deep end and then mutating back into a humanoid form as he shot to the top of the water and began to backstroke.
"What's the point in having a pool bigger then stephen hawking's brain if your not going to use it?"

Carlos Moment of Indecision ended as he shook his, the weight of the bag over his shoulder bringing the reality of the situation back into perspective. His room was waiting and he was tired and hungry, anxiety had forced him to push his body to exhaustion. He took time for siesta in the afternoon but sleeping during the day was hard. He looked quickly around then started walking with his sluggish pace, more active with a purpose. When he reached his room and looked inside he was filled with slight relief. It looked much like the formal military dorm that he had when he slept at the bases his fathere worked on.
Carlos just tossed the bag into a vacant corner. With what space available, he started stretching a full regime, as if he was about to work out. When he was done he bounced on his heels abit trying to build enough energy to atleast appear he was awake. He then slipped his shades back on and left the room closing the door behind him. His stomach gave an near audible growl, and he was glad no one to his knowledge was around. He headed to where he believed the kitchen to be. Sleeping during the day threw off his eating habits and he hadn't a thing to fuel his body for whatever active hours he was going to need. He didn't know the mansion real well and hopefuly a friend in the kitchen could provide a tour, if not the atleast a cup of coffee.
He walked more up right and with a slight bounce in his step. Adrenaline was building, his anxiety and slight excitement mounting as he made his way through the hallway trying not to stare or make eye contact. He needed that cup of coffee and he was going to get it at the soonest. When he reached the Kitchen he looked around and only got to study what appeared to be two people. One young man, and woman about his age discussing something. He didn't want to intrude if it was something with their relationship so he brought his hand up to his mouth and faked one of those " uh hum" coughs to get peoples attention. " Hola.... uhmmm.... I'm new here. is there by anychance a coffee machine?" He felt ackward and was glad his copper tan could hide blushes of embaressment.
" Sorry to intrude on anything.... Just I'm very...... tired... My name is Carlos...." That ackwardness was still there. Same as meeting the soldiers he helped train not knowing if weather they would slaughter him. He bested them all which was a suprise, and the deciding factor for his fascination and progress in martial arts. He was going to the military until his mutation. Now he need a new kind of training something to help he reach a new apex of self control and discipline. He stood there at the door frame just ackward and scared that he was the new guy. every second going by without a word just mounting that tension he already had.
(edited, to be extended and provide more character development. <.< lemme know if I need to slow down or shorten... Don't want to overkill my presence here lol. )

Narcissa unintentionally flinched away from Aaron’s hand, fear glimmering at the edges of her eyes. “Be careful!”, she spoke softly, a harsh whisper, her voice degrees higher than it was moments ago. Her usually silvery tones had become strained… As if she were afraid of him. But upon closer inspected, it became clear that she was afraid -for- him. Her almond shaped sapphire eyes swept over his hand, the glass that she held, clenched tightly. Thank goodness she hadn't burned him.. Suddenly aware of her behavior, she took a full step back from him, her head bowing in an apology...
“My mutation..” , Narcissa began, licking her lips to soothe the dryness.. “I absorb -sunlight-…”, she murmured, raising her head slightly, her palm opening, face up. She allowed a controlled amount of the warmth in her body to escape from her fingers, allowed it grow into a delicious tingle, until the tingle became physical, and grew and grew until her flesh could no longer contain it. That tingle filtered out through her skin, and became a bright hue of golden light. It spiraled around above her palm, solidifying, forming intricate loops and knots until finally it tightened into a solid ball of golden light that illuminated everything… For how small it was, it was impossibly bright.
Narcissa held the small ball closely to her chest, positive that even where Aaron stood, he could feel the absolute temperature radiating from it. “It’s dangerous… It would hurt you… I could hurt you... Sometimes it’s hard to keep it back… My skin gets so hot sometimes… “, she trailed off. Closing her fist, the ball faded away, and she lowered her hand as another person made themselves known.
She sighed softly... forcing a smile onto her heart shaped face… Narcissa always tried to be a pleasant person… Especially since she was new, and this other person, Carlos, seemed new too. “Ah.. I’m Narcissa.. And this is Aaron…”, she introduced them both, taking the two glasses to pour some water into one, and some Pepsi into another. Handing it to the winged one, she kept the water to herself.. “I’m not sure about coffee..”, she looked at Aaron.. She barely even knew where the glasses where. “But there’s soda in the fridge..”
