"Oh dear...I've returned to the crying tree again," said Clopper as the sounds of weeping grew louder. "I guess I had better try searching for those glasses once more. I feel pretty sorry for it,"

Finally her fifth tree, it was a long thin tree, such a big contrast, a tiny and a tall bean. She reached out her hands with fluffy gloves and touched it but was rejected. The tree acted so dramatically and asked her to come back when it finished its cleaning. However, when she wandered back, the tree was no longer in the same position.
So they can move?
Returning to the wayfinder, she told it what she experienced and showed it the fragments she got.
"I see you finish my quest. here's a card for you. Congratulations, you are now level 2." After the word of the sign, she heard a brisk ring.
"Ok. Now you should head outside for more exploration. Good luck!"

He'd been conscious of choosing a name that was not his own and the most awesome outfit he'd ever seen but could never wear in public. Beyond that, West... or rather Punchy... had less than no clues what was going on. He was in a forest, and up ahead there was a very distracting exclamation point floating in the sky, an exclamation point that called to him if only because it was bright yellow and doing something exclamation points normally didn't. The boil assumed he was dreaming. Where his subconscious had come up with this s**t was something he'd have to give more thought to. Or not.
It was probably a good thing the signpost spoke because none of the locations it pointed to seemed like places he wanted to be. Of course, he didn't want to poke at five trees either, though at the very least, it was something to do.
He nodded sharply at the quest giver, then wandered around aimlessly for a while until he accidentally shoulder-checked a wide, jittering branch that hadn't been in his path a moment before.
"Watch where yer stickin' that thing," Punchy muttered, glaring up at the sleepy tree as it crouched low to meet him. "I wasn't anywhere near yer nose and I'm not comin' back to visit ever neither." He turned around, intending to go back to the signpost and demand a better dream.

I don't understand.
It was like- for lack of a better comparison, some sort of alternate reality created by Justin and Julie, with rainbow trees and incredibly strange outfits, not to mention suspicious bottles with oddly tasty contents. Nothing that she had seen made sense, and everything seemed to go out of its way to be confusing. Grimacing, the white rabbit flitted through trees, keeping her eyes out for anything particularly questionable, like..
.. an exclamation mark?
Things were getting curiouser and curiouser.

The next talking tree was met with a gentle reassuring pat, a smile and a nod. "Sure I can help you out sad tree. I'll see if I can find your glasses." It strained the boundaries of sanity what a tree should need glasses for at all.
But Divinity did not question these things.

It wasn't as if looking for trees was going to be particularly difficult, in a forest. Maybe if the.. way-unfinder wanted samples of leaves and a report on the different species of trees and their characteristics and..
oh, stop already and just. that tree.
The willow's leaves were blood-red, not entirely out of place for the setting, but unsettling in its own way. She reached to touch it, gently brushing aside the branches, but with an alarming creaaaaaak they snapped back at her, batting her away.
All right, geez! I get it!

8: You reach a tree with stripes. Trees with stripes, how silly!
"I beg your pardon," says the tree with stripes, "but I am not silly at all. In here everything is possible and anything is impossible and therefore a tree with stripes is completely within everything and anything." Its stripes change colours. "Now, give me a good, good shake. I want to get some more colour out. Shake me really well, if you do I'll reward you."
If you shake the tree it laughs happily and then spits out a fragment. It bids you your merry way as you continue walking. +1 fragment.
"I'm afraid you have got me awfully confused," said Clopper with a shake of his head. "But I will take your word for it that it is completely normal for a tree to have colour changing stripes,"
"And I'll happily help you," said the tiny Clopper. "I am interested to see if you'd turn into a seven-colour tree,"
Thus saying so, the tiny sprite shook the tree as hard as he could. "There, I've shaken all I can and I can shake no more," Clopper said as he fell tiredly to the ground. "You do look splendid now and I am glad to have met you. I should leave though. I promised the signpost that I'd report back as soon as I have examined five trees,"

But there was no sign of the glasses. Whether they had even existed was completely dubious.
He gave the tree a forlorn headshake. "I'm sorry they are nowhere to be found and I am in a bit of a hurry you see." And without waiting for a reply he scurried off.

He did not stick around the violent willow tree as he found himself assaulted with whipping leaves, he was not afraid of pain but he was certainly no glutton for it.

This wasn't her typical falling dream but Lute went with it. Smiling a gentle smile as she came face to face with an AI. The thing explained her dream to her and requested a name, which left her reeling. Panicked Lute nibbled on her finger nails and paced back and forth in her dream space. This was to hard, she really sucked at names!
What's in a name!
Thinking on a scratch of her head she frowned as nothing came to mind. Hurry up Lute she scolded herself then grabbed onto pink locks, swaying back and forth in thought. "Uh...um...ah.." Name name, pick a name!"GABRIEL SANTIAGO!?" Lute blinked at her own outburst and before she could try again the AI accepted and thus she became Gabriel Santiago, but since it was only her dream she wasn't to worried. What she was worried about though was that even as the AI explained things to her, they weren't really sinking in.
Puzzled by the time the thing requested a class Lute just went with the first option that popped out,"Doo-doormouse please.." Blushing she looked over her clothes as her appearance changed. She still had her pink and grey pallet which she was thrilled with but the strange new ears, well, her fingers were already prodding them uncomfortably.
Before she could gather herself much more Lute was tossed into 'the game', her head spinning as she looked around the colorful woods and the creeple rushing about them. Where to go now? Gabriel Santiago paused, now noticing the information above her head. How queer she mused before wandering off and ending up at the wayfinder. Attracted by the large yellow exclamation point Gabriel Santiago stood with her hands crossed firmly behind her back and listening intently as it explain to her about trees and promised leveling.
Leveling was good right? On a nod to herself she was off in search of five trees, a small smile in place upon her lips.

She'd backed away so quickly that she hadn't had a chance to look where she was going; out of the frying pan into the fire, apparently. Willows were scratching and shooing her from almost every direction- the rustling their leaves made was almost reminiscent of a hive of angry bees.
Willows? More like won't-lows. She made her escape past a more easygoing baobab- wove her way through even more trees, then paused for breath.

These littler adventures that seem to occur on a bi-yearly basis at this point should not be as much as a surprise as they first were.
Though, oddly, this one seemed to be a little more fun.
"Coooool." The fox managed to say, reaching up and touching the hat now adorning his head. Right above, his name hovering just out of reach. Really. AblooFox? Even he couldn't help but laugh at the double-pun of it. Not to mention, somehow oddly he knew he was a Mad Hatter class, and this seemed to be one giant game.
The trees he walked through seemed to be different colors. This game so far was very pretty if anything, though this forest was still nothing to compare to his homelands.Even the odd looking eyeballs watching him from the trees now and then seemed about right.
