As much as Lilith wanted to stand side by side with Lloyd and fight the evil before her, she knew her pregnancy made that impossible. Not to mention the fight would likely be over by time she managed to dismount. Closing her eyes, Lilith silently prayed. It was in that moment that her goddess saw fit to reveal her plans to the expectant paladin. As quickly as the holy vision had come, it was gone but in its absence Lilith blessed with knowing the outcome of what they did here today. That revelation gave her power, and with that power came strenght. Not just personal strength but the strength of will, strength of courage. These auras poured out of Lilith like a fountain blessing all around her (and inside her) as she again opened her eyes, eyes now ablaze with holy energy. "Your will be done." She muttered.

"Lilith?" Keith couldn't believe what he was seeing, the warmth he felt radiating from her body. He heard legends of this sort of power, but never did he think he would ever live to see it. Leon smirked at the power Lilith was able to amass. "So the Paladin's power surfaces. Well it won't save you. You're not the first, and surely not the last." Swords clashed between Mathias and Lloyd. Keith was brandished his blade and charged forward. "You stay out of this!" Commanded Lloyd. The paladin in question refused to listen and assisted with aiming for Mathias. A bad mistake. The death knight was prepared for this. Out from the blood a sword parried keith's blade. "2 on 1? Not the fairest of odds, don't you think?" The blood from the blade dripped off to reveal a skeletal arm and a body to go with it. The corpse of the man the died here rose up from the pool and prepared to fight for Mathias.

"Fairness matters not when one is combating the forces of darkness." Lilith intones, her voice carrying with it a hint of otherworldly power. "All shall see the light!" Channeling the holy energy that flowed through her, Lilith pointed a single finger at the skeletal creature Mathias was attempting to conjure. A brief moment later a beam of holy light fired from the expectant paladin's finger tip and connected with the unholy summons, obliterating it before it had a chance to fully form. Needless to say the amount of firepower unloaded on the creature was well into the terms of overkill and the three melee combatants (Mathias, Keith, and Lloyd) were momentarily showered with bone fragments. Despite the carnage unfolding around them, the group's horses remained disturbingly calm. With a gentle touch to its muscular neck, the horse Lilith rode shifted its weight and knelt as if bowing to royalty, allowing its pregnant rider to dismount with ease. "Your presence defiles this innocent world, corrupts the uncorrupted, spoils the unspoiled." Lilith states, advancing on the battle with slow and confident steps. So blessed was Lilith that her footsteps cleansed the very ground she walked on, blood-soaked mud became solid red-brown dirt, grey-green vegetation shed their malady and stood tall once more.

The beam did short work of the insurgent skeletal soldiers arising for Mathias. That Pregnant Paladin and her blessings was becoming a nuisance for him. This was the last time he'd let himself be mocked by her kind if it was the last thing he does. He did admit, she appeared to be a lot stronger than the others. What was she? Both Keith and Lloyd was surprised that Lilith's power went this far. None of the Paladin's he faced in the past could draw this sort of power. And certainly not this easily. Enough staring, it was time for him to continue attacking. Keith swung and swung at Mathias, but his swordsmanship was not enough. The dark sorcerer had many years on him. He kicked Lloyd down and went after Lilith. She was the new root of the problem ahead.

(Your characters name is Lloyd in this RP, you appear to be borrowing Leon from somewhere else. stare Don't wanna be confusing people this close to the end. ^^) Despite the unholy avenger bearing down on her, Lilith's stride never broke step. One foot in front of the other, she advanced... seemingly into the mouth of death. Blessed with her goddess' might, Lilith's imagination became her weapon. Picturing a strange weapon she'd seen on display years ago called a gun, the paladin formed her left hand into an L shape and pointed it at Mathias. "Bang." She said, mimicking the sound effect the original weapon had made. While still powerful, the beam of light fired was not nearly as devastating as it had been against the skeletal minion. A blast of light from her right hand shortly followed the first.

(Yeah, what happened was I called him by Mathias' true name while trying to call him Troy. I fixed it though.) Mathias was hit in the shoulder by the first beam. "Matter materialization?" He questions, evading the second. Keith and Lloyd realized the prototype weapon, but how did she acquire it? By now the two warriors had gotten up and returned to the fight. While fighting Mathias, the dark one conjured up a double through the sea of blood to handle Lilith with quick moving strikes against her armor. It specifically went for her child to truly strike for her when it saw her going to protect it.

(No worries *hug* Just wanted to make sure you wasn't scrambling yourself. heart ) Like any magical manifestation, be it man-made or of the divine, everything had its limit. Lilith could feel the tide beginning to ebb. The might that filled her to her very core moments ago was draining and draining fast. Forgoing her offensive pursuits as the blood double engaged, she conjured herself a shimmering suit of yellow-white plate armor. Her pregnancy had long sense made such armor impractical but she missed the weight of it about her shoulders. While the magical armor protected her (and her unborn child) far better than the leather armor she wore underneath, the fact remained she was heavily pregnant and outmatched. Already bleeding from a score of cuts, Lilith took a couple more as twisted her way inside the blood elemental's guard and shoved her hand into the mass that made up its chest. "Begone." A pulse of holy energy briefly rippled through the elemental's body before tearing it apart. The well runs dry chosen one, you have a task to complete.

The double had done its main purpose. To stall Lilith long enough to fight Lloyd and Keith. They too were falling fast due to Mathias's onslaught on their guard. He had broken Keith's a few times, but halted on the opportunity due to Lloyd. "Keith, I need you to fall back." "I won't. I'm fighting with you." "I need someone to assist Lilith. I need someone to be able to tend to her after this is over." Lloyd wasn't sure what that really meant. But he hoped it was just to tend to wounds. Regardless this was enough to make Keith stand down and head to her horse. Mathias looked to the couple now standing in front of him. "Removing one of your own was a bad idea if you planned to kill me." He encased himself in blood briefly, bursting through in reinforced armor. His free arm appeared like a large claw.

(We know L&L's fate but now the question is do (and how) they take Mathias with them or no...) "The battle remains three on one..." Lilith replies, her vague statement unsure whether she was referring to her goddess' power or their unborn child. Placing a solid but comforting hand on Lloyd's shoulder, she healed her lover of his minor injuries and blessed him with faction of the fading power she still held. In her other hand she manifested an ornate long sword, decorated with the symbols of her deity. "Today we cleanse the world of your evil." She said, taking a defensive stance.
