Anthe held Balthazar up to a cage and he finally walked in. That had only taken a bazillion tries. But as long as the hatchling was safe, it was okay that Anthe had taken time to catch him.

 Wanda wandered the booths curiously. It looked like they were running elections of some kind- but all the candidates were kids. Maybe it was some kind of committee? Did they have those? He finally came across a booth that piqued his interest. A myriad of birds decorated it, including a few apparent escapees. Wanda had never been particularly good with birds, but Chipper reminded him of the blue jays back home. He reached his hand out toward it tentatively. With his golden locks and feminine figure, he could be some kind of oversized Disney princess. Unlike a Disney princess, however, he seemed to have no sway over the little woodland creature. It hopped away, squawking mightily. OOC  This is Washington Becker, a hunter in a meatsuit! Frowning, he held out one hand- whilst trying to sneak his other behind it. It almost worked, but at the last second, the crafty little bird noticed his trick and fluttered a few feet away. What had begun as an act of good samaritanism was quickly becoming a battle with an evil mastermind of aviankind. Wanda swatted at it, hoping to startle it and pluck the feisty beast from the air. His antics weren't doing him any favors, and the little bluebird once again evaded his grasp, this time alighting on the top of the booth. It glared down at him balefully. "Come on, leetle guy," he annunciated carefully around his teeth. He wasn't sure if it was the sight of his formidable fangs, or his chiding tone, but the bird finally obliged by alighting on his finger. Now if he could just get it to go back in it's cage... It was hard to tell which cage the chipper little minipet belonged in- it groomed itself, chirping cheerfully on his finger, and was no help at all. It seemed to have managed to get it's bright blue feathers all over the place... He finally gently nudged it toward a cage door. It squawked indignantly, scuttling up his arm before fluffing it's little feathers and giving him another knowing look. Birds.OOC This is Washington Becker, a hunter in a meatsuit! Kuzco, aka Melvin, was pulling his wagon along and looking at the various booths. There was one that caught his eye, not by loud music, but by the tweeting of birds. Rolling his Dead Racer wagon up, he looked up to see minipets all nestled in their cages. Considering he was on the hunt for minipets, he was hopeful he could get one here.
It was then that one very lavish bird that resembled a Peacock fluttered out of it's cage. It was very beautiful....not that Melvin actually wanted to keep it. It would just make a very nice specimen to have.
Rubbing his small hands together, he made to catch it. It must have not been expecting to be caught so quickly, and Melvin had it already in it's arms in a second. Mwhahaha. It was SO soft tooooo!!!Quote: Melvin looks like a small, ram demon. *Sig*

Sylas had only meant to pass by this booth, but a bird zoomed right in front of him. He stopped short and swiped at it instinctively, but missed.
