Ace couldn't get himself to tell her what she was feeling. He instead sent her a thought. It was the way that he felt during his past, and what they did. He was sure that she would understand what it was that he was trying to explain and not say.

Ace pulled her close to him and brought his month next to her ear and softly whispered "You." If he thought about he would be surprised at the fact that he had managed to move on from what had happened to him, but he wasn't thinking clearly. He was focused on her, and how close they were.

"You are no longer the monster." Ace told her as he thought about how to answer the last part. After a moment he said "I have long since gotten past her, but I will never forget her or what we had. However you have gotten into my heart and it has started to beat once again." Since the time that it happened he has been a walking shell, these last couple of days he has felt what he once before felt.

Alyx nodded slowly. "But I am not completely Human," she said. "Are you sure I'm what you want?"

He was quiet a moment as he thought about what he felted. "Yes" he whispered quietly. He felt himself lost at what he had to do, but she seem to him like a point that he could feel what was left of his humanity returning.

"Then...take me," Alyx whispered. She wanted him, needed him. He had woken her, showed her what it was like to feel.

Ace could feel all control that he had slip through his fingers as she told him, and he felt what she was feeling as well as his own. He kissed her check and slowly lowered her to the floor. He moved to give her what she wanted and he could feel her pleasure as he moved as well as his own. He saw and felt everything as he gave in to her.

Alyx felt everything he felt as well. She hadn't been able to help herself. She loved how he made her feel.

Afterwards Ace looked at her for a few minutes before he laid on his back and stared up at the stars once again. He closed his eyes as he started to feel exhausted by everything that had happened on that long day.

Alyx snuggled into his side. "I love you Ace," she said as she closed her eyes.

"And I love you Alyx." Ace told her as he felt sleep pull him under. He drifted off and sleep well, with her by his side. For the first time in a very long time he felt truly happy, he wasn't going to lose it a second time.

Alyx couldn't sleep. She slowly got up, doing her best not to wake Ace. She walked to the edge of the roof and looked out. She had cause all of what she saw and knew it.
