It happen all at once, the bonds were pulled free. The Vullaby managed just barely to avoid being thrown into the water with the release. Her head touching on the ground as she rolls over to get back to her feet ...a smirk on her face. She was finally free of her opponent's attack, and now she only was free to attack her opponent. The relief was there as she shiver heavily with on one to hold the bonds that meant they would be quite easy to shrug free of as she let them fall around her and spread her wings wide.
Now she was going to end this ....as she started to flap them powerfully. One wing and then the other and then both together as she stood on the edge of the rock just above the water as she tries to use gust against the Purrloin once more.

::Jasmine cursed herself, it was her fault they had missed the mark! She'd ordered too soon, and now the Vullaby was pulling itself free... Ignoring her again, it was going straight after Claudandas!::
If it worked once... ::She grabbed for an end of the rope near her:: it can work again!
Claudandas!
::The girl didn't need shout him a second longer, he could see the building winds, but he could also see those bindings still there on the ground, his teeth finding one end as he began to run with it to get away from the gust...::
::And at the same time, Jasmine pulled on her end, they wouldn't get the whole bird this time, but th wrappings were still there tangled around talons enough to try and jerk the Vullaby back to earth with a bump and try and send the Gust elsewhere off of aim!::

(Genn's hp -2 due to overuse of counter ---Actually, I was hoping this would happen.))
Victoria had walked to the end of the pathway, and instead of finding her feet on the downwards spiral of the crate she found herself jumping a few steps backwards as the earth seemed to explode in front of her. The body of an Onix was the first thing that she saw, but she couldn't help noticing the flame hair color of it's trainer.
It was without a doubt the moment that he issued his command whom the pokemon belong to as the Nincada would meet it's fate. It would end then as Victoria watches it all with a crashing of power. The Onix's body connecting with the Nincada as the bug was literally smashes into the ground.....flatten to death would have been the thought, but such a pokemon had an amazing defense. One that seemed to be able to withstand even the powerful blow of the Onix ....unconscious but alive.
Victoria wait then, she waited for the death blow to come as her eyes seem to shine with it. She knew that any pokemon defeat in battle must be killed, it kept everyone safe by doing that. It meant that the trek back would be full of less peril, and it left your mark on this world in a way that would never be forgotten.
She waited for the nincada's death.

The gust would fly skyward as the Vullaby fell backwards once more. A few more inches and she would have been done with the pokemon as she kicked at the cloth tangled around her legs in frustration. It should have been over, she knew that ....it should have been over a while ago, but the girl kept right on interfering as she stood up in her own defense grabbed what remain of the fabric in her beak. She was going to throw it in the water herself this time as she pulled to get it free of Jasmine and if Claudandas hadn't thought to get it out of his mouth to throw any attack he had planned off it's mark as well.
If it could work for one, it could afterall work for the other. And she was going to make it work for her this time as she pulled in her own defense.

::Now, this was it, the moment frustration overtook the Vullaby, the moment she looked to Jasmine and not Claudandas...::
::As the girl and the bird played tug of war, there he was, fabric still in mouth, but looping it as he leapt, one last strike, one last move, he aimed to strike with a final scratch in o e long arc past the Vullaby's side, as silence would hold in the aftermath... And they waited for the dust to clear::

The dust would clear to find the vullaby still standing. The clothe in her beak as she twirls it once ...around to try and yank it free of the girl. Her right wing would turn to metal as she twist and tries to literally hit the Purrloin with it. The cat had struck, but it was only her shell he had hit earlier. Harder than steel, she had come off without a scratch, but he had no shell to help him.
He wouldn't be as lucky .....as she tries to plow him into the ground with it. Her eyes narrowed. she would have never believe such a weak pokemon could last this long against her, but then again, this wasn't an even battle ....as she forces her wing downwards even as she pulled back with her beak to try and get it free of Jasmine and one and for all free herself of the contraption.

::The battle was joined once more... and now, there were three of them with their hands on the rope, Jasmine on one end, the Vullaby with beak and talons all mixed up in it, with Claudandas at the far end in his fangs::
::And now like Claudandas, the Vullaby seemed ready to fight with the raggedy rope as well!::
Oh no you don't! ::Jasmine called out in a shaking voice, whether angry or exhausted, she was certainly no less efficient in pulling on her end, looking to yank the bird and her end of the material backwards, looking to throw off that Steel Wing!::
::And on the other end, Claudandas leapt, the Purrloin angry that he'd missed a chance to end this... he was wearing thin, but unlike the Vullaby, he had allies, he could only hope the Tympole or Lindbergh would get up to help somehow, but Lindbergh wasn't one he'd ever rely upon::
::He and Jasmine had to fight on, as he'd leap to evade the Steel Wing, but also was still trailing that end of the material, looking to bind it while evading or finally make that bird topple into the ice cold water as it tried to toss him in!::

::The two were in perfect sync, the human and the feline, but that didn't help when the bird finally whirled and caught the Purrloin, smashing him Ito the ground!::
::He bounced, rolled and keeled in pain at something in his shoulder, but for one thing, as Jasmine fell back, the rope ripping in ther grip, leaving remnants everywhere, she looked and there was Claudandas next to her::
::She bit her lip, she had that one potion the cat had found... And before the Vullaby could do anything, she'd pulled it out, spraying it over the cat, not sure even if she was doing it right as she would look back at the state of play::
We're not out yet... We just need to fight on... We're almost there Claudandas...
::The cat set his fangs, even with the stinging potion's healing ability, something seemed lopsided about the cat, that leg he'd went down on...::
::He hopped forward, in front of Jasmine, he would be able to move for the moment... That meant rhey'd lost their move... The Vullaby had enough time now to attack...::
[Stull think you. An win?] ::The cat hissed slowly and painfully::

The bird answers with a flap of her wings as she used Gust. Her angry boiling in her at the entire situation. She had won, she had defeated her opponent and then the trainer had stepped in once more and she was again starting from the beginning. She was going to have to knock this pokemon back down to size ....as she flapped harder and harder with each thought.
This was so unfair, he was meat to eat. This battle was over, and then ...and then the human steps in and spray the Purrloin with some mist and then ...it is well again. That wasn't fair, but it was why pokemon paired up with humans ...it was still horribly unfair.
Harder and harder the gust would appear above her wings and she flapped one hard time together to send the spiraling wave towards his opponent.

[Jasmine!] ::The Purrloin meowled, although the girl wouldn't understand a word he said, she'd certainly take a cue, it must have been a funny sight for the Vullaby to consider, when suddenly the girl's arms leaned down, and she sprung them up, looking to give Claudandas a boost and away out of the attck range!::
::The cat landed and winced, that shoulder, something wasn't right and he knew it, but he wasn't about to stop, not with that Gust coming, as he danced forward, back and forth to try and make sure to capitalise on Jasmine's effective jump start and keep going, he had to find a ready point to regroup and be ready!::
::He couldn't let any of Jasmine's hard work go to waste now!::

The cat's throw wouldn't get him very far, the girl just didn't have the muscle strength for it. Yet, as the cat darts back and forth the gust would be aimed at his rear. The attack itself veering off course as he made that next jump, but the bird wasn't done. She had nothing to lose at this point as she continued the attack ...countering whatever move the cat might have plan as she brought her wings forward again.
The gust from before would quickly be followed by another. She wasn't about to lose the momentum now as she aimed to catch him on the side with the swirling pattern of win.
((Call your human all you want, but you will lose))

Impromptu jumped out of Ada's arms and began kissing the ground as soon as they got off the boat. She rolled around, he stretched, he dug all over the ground. He was extremely happy at the sight of land, land everywhere.
Ada rolled her eyes. "You get so seasick, I swear you're lucky you're not a sailors dog" she picked him up, petting him as she took out his tiny hat and put it on his head. "Now, how're we gonna do this..."
She giggled, tapping his nose. "Yo're a dog, dogs like bones. Go use your sniffer to find the bone, Mutsy~" She teased. He gave her a cross look, turning away. "> I am a purebred, thank you very much. And I don't sniff or eat bones <"
She laughed, but that laugh soon faded as she noticed..."Huh, night already? Was really hoping to get here during the day" was better for seeing. Ah well, make due right? She stuck her hand in one of her pockets, taking out...her hand. Balled up in a fist. She swung her hand up in the air, opening it as a classical magicians wand popped out out of seemingly nowhere. She caught it in her hand as it began to fall, and she looked at it as if inspecting it. "Hm..." the magician opened her free hand, tapping the white end of the wand against her palm. once, twice, a third hard tap and the white tip lit up like a flashlight, illuminating a small area around her. Not much, but at least she could see a little.
Want held out in front of her, she held Impromptu close as she began to walk. This was a piece of cake...

::Claudandas looked back at the Vullaby, everything was set, but why now did she have to put on the pressure, sensing his weakness?::
::There was nothing to it, he couldn't back down and cower, he couldn't let the bird hold out:: [I call to her... because she and I are in this together!]
[A partnership is no weakness when it works well together]
::He grabbed a spot and turned, facing the bird, he was flying forward just as the attack was forming, looking to leap over and pounce the bird, catch it with claws wide open in a Scratch attack!:: [I only pity you can't see it!!]
::But before the bird could pull back, develop the attack further, it seemed there was more to be wary of, when suddenly Jasmine would come from behind, something smacked the Vullaby from behind, looking to push the bird into its own attack and into the claws of the cat, looking to get rid of the Gust while she could!::
::It was that wooden crutch, while it didn't pack the same power as a metal crutch, the wooden stick was certainly thick and made out of that sturdy petrified wood, it would certainly more than bruise a few feathers as she drove the bird up to Claudandas'!::

((generally it goes by the moderator's time, but since you have already posted and editing it seems like a waste ...I will go with your time))
She would find herself as she walked leaving the sands and entering into grass and then trees. Ada's pathway would be through a forest ....as the moon hung high above them. The fall of night meant that they would enjoy the cool of the night breeze and the song of the forest. A song that seemed a bit off key as a Scraggy joined in the chorus. His voice so scratchy and off beat that some of the singers of the night went for cover.
The pokemon was smiling widely as he held his skin with one hand, and sung to his heart's content on a fallen tree. This is where the two would spot him as he ignored them and continued to sing.

Again they were double teaming her ...as she felt the pain of the hit. But she wasn't done, she wasn't done by a long shot ....as she felt those claws and then lashed out with her wing again. Strength into metal ...much harder than the petrified wood she was hit with ....as she tries to quite literally flatten the bird. She wasn't giving up nor was she going to give in ....as she clack her beak in a sign of defiances.
No, she would never give up .....even as she listen to his words.
((A strength born of weakness can be powerful, but a weakness built upon weakness will be your un doing.))
She declares back. She wasn't entirely sure if she made sense ...even to herself, but considering how many feathers she was losing and the deep cuts in her skin that ooze blood. She just kept up what knew to do ...desperation was finally settling in.
