Normal? That wasn't incredibly reassuring but it was better than a flat out no you're a freak.

"Yeah but how to you explain a gummy bear fetish to your girlfriend?" Yeah how the ******** did you explain that. "Oh man I used to love gummy bears...wait, not like...sexually. I liked eating gummy bears I should say." Mmhmm, Casper liked candy back in the day. "Oh and those sour belt things, the blue ones with the purple stripes, I used to eat those like they were potato chips."
Now he didn't think he could stomach that stuff.....

Luna grimaced. "Eating human food is just.. it sucks. No taste is worth having to make yourself heave it up later." she said and shuddered. Clearly someone didn't like throwing up food. and could you blame her? That s**t sucked.
So yeah, she had eaten human food, and she didn't like it at all.

Yeah throwing up had never been fun as far as he was concerned.
Well...well being a vampire sucked even more...especially because vampires literally sucked blood! Ugh!
"You know...I wonder if they realized who was under the hood." Wow that was very off topic but it just went to show that Casper never really stopped thinking about the whole hunter incident. It had been a huge deal and honestly if Casper were Sarah he would have figured out something with everything he had done.

Luna sighed and folded her hands in her lap. She really didn't know... She wasn't sure how close to one another they got, how much each of them knew... but... more than likely something had been recognized by that girl...
Luna sighed sadly then stood abruptly, "I have to get dressed." she said quickly and grabbed the clothes off the top of her dresser, fleeing hastily from the room.
Why did she have to get so jealous when she thought about that Sarah girl?!?

"Oh," he said surprised that he hadn't realized they were essentially naked. "yeah"
Casper halfheartedly watched Luna exit the room...right when he was starting to feel a little emo. But whatever. After that sexual scare Casper wasn't really in the mood to come to a conclusion, get his thoughts in line and go in for that self kill.
He had to get dressed anyway! Walking over to the drawers Casper pulled out one of his usual ensembles complete with three or so layers.
He liked layering, it made him feel cozy.
Now dressed and ready to go, Casper, who wasn't nearly as embarrassed as before, just sort of moped around the hall. He got mopey when he was thinking...it was probably because no one had invented a vampire prosac yet...

Luna pulled on her shirt and customary bluejeans. This shirt was black with a satin tie in the back. Fancy stuff right there. She smoothed her wet hair out and sighed in the downstairs bathroom. She needed to get a grip, needed to stop thinking about her stupid hopes and help Casper out.
Last night had meant nothing to him it seemed, nothing more than something to pass the time. Even those words about him caring... she knew he didn't care about her the way she cared about him... she didn't resent the fact, it was just something she knew...
Luna shook her head and swallowed the lump in her throat. She could do this, burying her feelings was something she was very good at, something she had done most of her life.
Luna opened the door and saw Casper up on the landing she smiled and tilted her head to the side, calling up to him. "Anything in particular you want to do tonight?"

Casper turned as soon as he herd her voice. What did he want to do tonight? He didn't go out much as a human, so Casper like, didn't know what to do know that he had the opportunity to act like the twenty four year old he was.
"Um, I don't know." He said sort of surprised he couldn't come up with any sort of answer. "I mean..." Oh, he had an idea! "Can I go to the ice cream shop?"
Like hello! Casper always wanted to know what it was like to be behind the counter of an ice cream shop instead of in front of it!

Luna smiled and nodded. Something interesting they could do. And she could show him around and maybe they could get him a job. Plus, she hadn't been to her shop in ages.
She trotted down the stairs and pulled her coat on before stopping to think, Christmas was coming up soon... She hadn't put up the specials or anything for the shop... she had been rather distracted lately and she sighed. "Come on Casper, grab your coat were going out for ice cream." she said in a happy sing song voice.

"Okay!" He said sounding more like an exuberant little kid than his usual depressed self. Casper generally had a hard time getting over s**t...well no he didn't because he got over the death of family and close friends within a few days, but like, he had a hard time getting over being a vampire. The fact that he sounded cheerful after experiencing one of those most heartbreaking experiences of his life (seeing his old troop), showed the true power of ice cream; that s**t was strong.
Casper grabbed his coat and stepped into his shoes. He was ready for ice cream dammit! He had always had a thing for ice cream anyway...but then again, maybe heading off to an ice cream shop with Casper's current condition wasn't the best idea. He had loved ice cream his whole life, but now, now that he could only find substance in the form of human blood, well Casper couldn't eat that ice cream. What if that caught up to him? What if he felt even worse than he already did because he was surrounded by ice cream, ice cream he couldn't eat. Wouldn't that just be a huge reminder that he wasn't human, that he never would be human again? God he was like a ticking time bomb! You had to be careful around Casper because every little thing could set him off and and point him in the direction of another suicide attempt! But then again, Casper was a big boy, and more importantly, there were signs he expressed before his suicide attempts; if anything were to happen, Luna would probably be able to stop it before it happened.
"Hey, do you think I could get some of those contacts?" He asked just remembering how much he would love to be able to go outside in the day. Sure he was able to see in the dark even better than he'd ever be able to see in the light ever again, but he still wanted to be able to feel the sun on his skin without having to clench his eyes shut.

Luna ginned widely at him. He wasn't all mopey for the moment. That was a plus, and it made her happy as well. Which made her wonder... was Casper like this as a human? Not so much the suicidal part, but the... well, he seemed so rigid and structured.... was it because he was a hunter before? She didn't know too much about hunters, other than you were born into it...
Her smile faded into a frown for a moment as she thought about it. Had that been his entire life? Everything had revolved around hunting, his friends, his family... everything he knew had to do with vampire hunting... and... obviously he had liked it. He was the best, he was the famous Casper St. Clair, she was so caught in her musings, that she completely missed Casper's question.
"I'm sorry, what?" she asked, startled and looked at him wide eyed for a moment.

Did she not hear him? But how!? She was a vampire, they herd everything! Even your hushed breathing...but that was beside the point!
"Those contacts your have, could I get a pair?" Now he felt the need to explain himself for some unknown reason. "Because when there's a light, my eyes burn...a lot, and I get blinded, and it hurts and makes everyday activities really really hard." Well wasn't that all jumbled up and supah crazy.
"Anyway, let's go. I've always wanted to understand the process of ice cream making." Understand the process? What was Casper a scientist? Oh well, actually, he'd done quite a bit of science in his old division laboratory.
Yeah Casper liked to know how everything worked...even bodies, and apparently even ice cream. He just liked to know!
