"Than I shall allow her to come," Leverne said before switching back to the common tongue. He gave Enduria one last fierce glare and did not relinquish his hold on Ruscar.

"Were I human, you would be quite correct," he said firmly, "But I am fae, and what's more - I am the Champion of the Silver Rose. There is power in that title, reborn, and I would daresay that I am far more capable than you. Now make yourself useful and scout ahead and find a good spot to rest until the knight returns."

It was apparent from his tone of voice that he was not used to being disobeyed, or even asked to repeat himself much.

---------------------

Kocerou looked disgruntled at Target's outburst, but let it go unremarked.

"I will keep that in mind," he said to Blade in response, "It's a slim chance, but I need something that will not be expected. I intend to tip fate in my favor any way I can. And you..."

He trailed off, staring thoughtfully at Astalder, or more specifically - Astalder's harness.

"One of these days you'll have to tell me how you got that," he said quietly, "A Blessed made it. I can tell. That isn't ordinary thread sewn into the leather."

The Prince smiled indulgently at Kier.

"Even if someone was looking for you, I could make sure they never found you. Have you given any thought to what it'd be like to have a Bound of your own?" He nodded at Blade. "To have wings again?"

Jace readied another arrow, and while it was closer to its mark, still just bounced harmlessly off of the armor the Fallen wore. If anything it only annoyed the big dragon further.

With a furious roar, the Fallen let out another arc of lightning, this time managing to graze Warden's side which was enough to give both dragon and rider a fair shock. Dropping in altitude for a bit, the squire worked hard to remain airborne. Thankfully his bound hadn't been hurt too badly in that attack. It would not do to lose him while he was in the sky.

---

"I'm afraid it's a bit of a long story," Astalder said a little sheepishly, "We aren't really supposed to speak of it, but you could very well be right there."

In the meantime, Blade fell silent, thinking over the options still. Judging how Target practically stormed off, he didn't like this any better. They did have somewhat of an advantage not being fae, but there were so many things to take into consideration.

"Is there anything else you need right now?" asked the thief while looking around. He noticed that the reborn hadn't returned just yet.

When he mention to scout ahead, she almost mention that the other Reborn had a rather intresting place to be. This Fea, she did not like nor trust him, titles are one and if anything like the dragon knights she did not care for them. Pulling her as she looked at the canopy of trees above her then straight back at the Fea barking like a dog.

"You and what ever is in your power will not, and I do mean will not, ha
hair back rm him." Her eyes slightly looked at the reborn to see if leaveing was ok, she could track them down but that was always bothersome.

Uritai approached Kocerou frowning. Frowning was not something she was known to do often. "I come to offer you my report Highness." Falinor stayed respectfully back knowing that his bond was crossed at the moment.

Cho looked around after they have rested. She knew they were. She knew they needed to find the other dragon in which they had seen with the other dragon, Bullseye. So they've been back tracking and looking around. Being Fae she knew of the legend of the sacred place among Fae, but didn't think they'd be there. 'That would be to officious,' she thought.

Aphrodite nodded. 'Though wouldn't that the best place to hide, is right underneath your nose,' she thought back.

Cho thought, 'We need to be extra careful. Since it is narrow and it is Fae territory.' So she started to play her music and sing in her Fae language to keep her tied to the dragon with a few vines to help and she sung a protection spell around them and continued to play again. They flew towards there weaving back and forth looking through the forest still if they spot anything, but they flew high enough to stay a far distance away from the tops of the trees.

Ruscar nodded, slightly pleased with the turn of events. He nodded towards Enduria, promising that it would okay and he would come out of this fine. There was no way he was going to lose this other Reborn though. Reborn were so rare, so coveted by him. There was no way they were being seperated for long.

“Shall we go on then, Leverne?”

Kier looked over Blade and Astalder nervously. He felt a bit timid and scared after Target's words. He wouldn't really get eaten here would he? Injured maybe but not eaten...He scratched at the dirt beneath his feat before looking at Kocerou again. "If it's all the same sir, flying seems it might be scary, and I don't want to give part of myself away to be tied to someone. I don't think at least. This ground under my feet has treated me just fine I think I'll stick with it."
He really wasn't sure about this flying thing. He wasn't sure how it was done, and the bond seemed like he'd be giving away his allegiance. It really was a bit confusing to him, but then again, he was young, and hadn't had it explained to him yet. He watched Kocerou with wide eyes and tugged lightly on his own mane.

"I may press you later on the wording of that request not to speak of it," Kocerou said to Blade, "Fae are excellent at finding loopholes and I would be very keen on frustrating the white-haired one. But for now, no, nothing else I need. Wander as you will, just don't leave the ravine. It isn't safe."

"I'm certain you'll change your mind someday," Kocerou murmured absently to Kier, no longer interested in the hatchling now that someone had a report to him. He gestured for Uritai to continue.

"Please, go ahead," he told her, "You look worried."

---------------------------

Leverne hauled the reborn along with him a good distance from where the two dragons battled in the sky. Once they were under the shelter of a thick canopy of leaves he carefully lowered Ruscar to the ground.

"You met with a scout earlier," he said, seeing to the reborn's injury. He gathered the fae magic to himself and his eyes narrowed in concentration. "The knights are good allies but they are not versed in dealing with fae trickery. Tell me - did you advise him truly?"

And the magic wrapped around Ruscar, both to heal and a compulsion.

"Falinor and I were doing some scouting as you commanded when we heard the sound of battle not far away. We went to investigate it but the battle was over before we could arrive. We shape shifted to make sure we would go undetected and..." Uri paused to find the right words. "As we approached a woman dressed as a ranger spotted us. We had shifted into bugs and yet she focused on us as if she could see our true forms. It was very off putting."

Ruscar let out a relieved sigh as the tingling forces wrapped around his body, doing their work. The compulsion to speak truthfully carefully woven in did not escape the reborn's attention, but he payed it little mind. Instead, his eyes snapped shut, comfortable with leaving himself utterly vulnerable for the moment.

“They ought to learn a thing or two about it, if war is coming,” he purred calmly, taking his time before answering the knight's question. “It is a shame you have to go out and personally confirm the information your scouts bring you. It seems like a hassle.”

“But yes, I did, and I spoke only the truth. I was pushed from my home in the south by what seemed to be a rebel force of fae.” It was true, he had lived in the south, and Kocerou's had been his reason for leaving. It was just not where the army currently resided.

A sentry sat crouched in a tree, his bow loaded and watching Cho and Aphrodite as they approached. He frowned and then leapt, spreading feathered wings of brown banded with black, and burst through the treetops. The arrow was pointed at Cho.

"Identify yourself!" he called in the fae language.

-------------------------------

Kocerou listened uneasily to Uritai's report. This did not sound good. Still, there seemed to be little he could do about it at the moment. The ranger Uritai described was not fae - she would have known, surely.

"A human mage, perhaps," he muttered, "Still, very few humans know how to distinguish fae magic when confronted with it. This is troubling news you bring us, but I do not have the resources to deal with it. Perhaps it is only a territory squabble between the dragons as they move away from the source of the fae conflict. Thank you Uri, I will consider what to do with this information. Now if you would, please make ready to go to war. We march in the morning. I've already given orders to the commanders."

-------------------------

Leverne considered the reborn's words as he finished the spell. The wound healed, he sat back on his heels, no longer concentrating and he let the fae magic drop.

"Was the Prince among them?" he asked, "The King needs to know where to direct his attack to isolate the Prince and end this quickly. The faster we can hit his forces the less time he has to gather his strength and the better chance we have at taking him alive."

Aphrodite stopped and Cho put her violin down.

Cho said to the sentry in the fae language, "My name is Cho. I am looking for a dragon of white color with red around his eye. Have you seen any such as this?"

The fae scout looked at Cho for a moment, as if trying to guess her intention. Then he lowered the bow.

"Yes," he said, "I have. He resides in the heart of the ravine. Follow me."

And the fae dipped one wing and turned in the air, gliding down towards the trees and the ravine hidden within.

Cho nodded to the scout and they followed not saying a word. Aphrodite glided along the same flow of air but made sure she didn't come to close so as not to scare the scout. She was worried just as Cho was as to what laid just underneath those trees. A sigh of relief just a ravine, but what more awaits them. They flew in silence behind the scout.

The scout dropped to the ground at the edge of the ravine. There were a great many number of fae about and they watched Cho carefully.

"Go see if you can find him," he said, gesturing towards the ravine, "He is somewhere down below. But know that now that you have found this place we cannot allow you to leave freely. Our Prince holds court at the center. Find him if you will. I must return to my post."

And he turned to go. From the way nearby sentries were watching, it was apparently that Cho and Aphrodite were going to be tailed by a fae at all times until their loyalty was assured.
