s**t. He was starting to slip, loosing too much of himself. Obidel would win at this pace. But this was all he had planned to do. Stall for time. Maybe kick her into gear. Something. He didn't want-
Suddenly he felt her screaming, a cry of pain coming from him as more of him burnt from her forcing him out. He did go flying out though, his essence hissing violently as he rolled on the grass. At least.... what was there of him. His arms were gone, disintegrated by the light from within her. The rest of his body was... er.... well worse than 3rd degree burns. He shuddered, his form seeming to grow to the palest purple possible, more smokey than anything else. He knew the risks of going in her body, but he hadn't cared. Tristan... you idiot..... you'll make her cry.... At this point he was trying to remain as much as possible, but he was slipping. Fast. At this point Vira was lost, there was so much going on. Knowing Tristan though, she knew exactly where he was despite how it would steadily kill him. One minute there was a bomb, the next Elly was screaming. God, what was going on?! Then suddenly Tristan appeared on the ground, and she was off of Calcifer like a blur. No... Making a break for him, she crouched down, looking up as she heard the tinking of weapons hitting her glass shield over the lake. The tears were rolling faster now, her hands tightening into fists. It was a whirlwind of emotions, the wind and water reacting to this simple fact. She was upset. Very upset.
The shield fluctuated, roiling around to whirlpools in the water that trapped many mermaids in the water, preventing them from stepping forward. With a growl, she cast whirlwinds into the air, catching the weapons and knocking them harmlessly into the ground. It was at this point she reached her friend, kneeling down next to him. "You fool! Why would you do that?! Stay with me Tristan, come on! Come on, don't you dare give up! Don't you dare think about leaving me!" She snapped, attempting to cool his burns with water that rose from the ground. But it didn't seem to do anything. "Dammit please..." She whispered, trying to encase him in ice but that was doing nothing.
He could hear a voice.... Vira? He couldn't see, what was going on? He couldn't speak, opening his mouth to but it hurt too much. He felt her trying to save him, but he got the feeling he had gone a bit too far, stayed a bit too long. Damn.... this really it? Didn't even get to.... Damn... He really was an idiot. A well-meaning idiot. "Tristan." Ranka called, taking his souls hand. They were in between at this point, and she planned to hold him there. "Too much of your essence is gone. Your form couldn't take anymore. Logical decision would have been..." She stopped herself, merely taking both of his hands instead. "No questions, rest for now." Brushing a hand over the lids of his eyes, she had him sleep, containing him within a small bauble she had in her pockets. She felt a warmth from her seal, but it wasn't negative. What is your decision? Closing her eyes, she listened, sighing heavily. Very well. She remained, looking up from what many humans called purgatory to the living world above.
Vira saw his form start to fade more, being gently rocked away by a wind that wasn't hers. No, no, NO! She reached for him, but his form was gone. Only grass was there. Her whole body shook as the wind grew unsteady, the whirlwinds she made growing larger as the lake grew more and more unsteady. Much like an angry ocean. Her golden eyes seemed to be glowing, hands tightening into fists.
"Elly you better kill that ******** b*****d. And you better live. Do not make what he did for naught." Her voice held a very strained calm, her hair flying about her that almost made her seem like a madwoman. She wanted to shout. She wanted to scream, she wanted to lay waste to these... these things attacking her. She couldn't think straight anymore. The amazing thing was that she wasn't loosing control. No, instead, she glared at the lake, at the mermaids that were walking forward. Standing up slowly, she tilted her head slightly, a giant wall of ice shooting up in a ring on the ground around them, rising up at least ten feet into the air. For as thick as it was, she could still look through it, watching as they screeched and cursed her again, beating their weapons and fists against the obstruction around them.
"Oh, did you want out? I'm sorry. Why don't you relax?" She muttered darkly, wind swirling down over her wall, gripping the closest ones around the waist. She knocked them back into the water, the wind rising back up to spin about over the wall, leaving them encased. (( err.... sorry about size. @_@ Lot to type. ))

Well, that was a little bit embarassing. So, if she had heard all of their conversation while she was unconcious, she would have all sorts of things to tease him with. That wasn't exactly a comforting thought, but it did give him a little bit of relief for some reason. He was sure when Sheryl was feeling better he would hear more of her opinion and thoughts on the matter. She seemed to have fun teasing him.
Even as a Psyharden, Seiji could still feel the terrible amount of energy that seemed to erupt from the lake. It was hard not to feel it, it almost gave a certain pressure against him. He was sure whatever was going on, that energy could not have been a good thing. He let the twins continue on their conversation, wondering what it might have been. When Ranka began to move, his eyes immediately moved to face her.
As he searched her eyes, Seiji felt her hand upon his cheek, still searching for some sign of what she was going to do. Her actions surprised him, it wasn't something he would have ever thought Ranka would do, not yet anyway. As she rose and moved to leave him behind, Seiji's fingers touched to where her cold lips has kissed. He hadn't imagined it. He had felt the coolness of her skin there. His eyes lingered at the place she disappeared, until Sheryl spoke.
Ranka's absence made the situation of the academy suddenly return to his mind. That overbearing energy, that's what that was. Someone at the lake, Ranka had mentioned it before. The person behind this attack was there, likely the source of the pressure he was feeling. He felt so useless, locked up here in the cafeteria like livestock. "I see." Seiji replied simply. His eyes moved to Sheryl, wondering how she managed so much in her condition. "...I hope they take care of it." He added, unsure of what was going on. "I don't think I'll be able to stay here much longer. Or any of us for that matter."

Sheryl sighed, just seeming very tired at this point in time as she saw how he was now that reality had come crashing back. She could hear everyone else in the cafeteria grow loud and then quiet, glancing to the two teachers that were there. "It feels as if the climax will come soon. Emotions are running high, as is tension...." She drifted off into silence, lowering her eyes as she sighed heavily. So he couldn't hold on.... Dammit. She could have done something! Gritting her teeth, she pounded her fist into the ground, anger rising up suddenly from within her. "They... will. They just got incentive to." She murmured softly, opening both her eyes. At least she had an orb now in the other socket, but that was all.
Raising her gaze to him, she nodded in the direction of the entrance to the cafeteria, a frown set into her lips. "They are doing all they can to keep students calm. The nurse is using a telepathic sedative of sorts. It doesn't work on me, dunno how if it works or not on you. In either case, we'd better be moving soon. This could become a god damn war zone. I'd rather not have to deal with that." She muttered, remembering the last time she had to deal with all those energies suddenly going out... or the others she had to heal. No. She did not want that to happen again. Taking a deep breath, it was hard for her to with her side, but her expression did not waver. "Seiji. At this point, just wait for Ranka to return. She will need you I suspect. Do what you can for her, she's more delicate than she seems." She told him softly, reaching out a hand as if to touch his shoulder, but she couldn't reach. She hated feeling this helpless. Especially since she had so much power that could be put to good use, or could have been. But she had trapped herself here in this position by her idiot actions earlier.

Incentive to. Then that meant whatever Ranka had gone to do, someone was going to lose their life. With Sheryl having to focus on herself, things could get very complicated. Who was all over at the lake? He didn't know many people here anyway, in truth aside from Ranka and Sheryl, he really couldn't tell anyone's name. Oh, there had been the wraith from before, but that was all. Everyone else was more or less still a stranger to him. Either way, he was hoping they would deal with the attacker soon.
"I'm not sure. I don't feel any different." Seiji answered. He could understand Sheryl's logic in that. Not only would a panic in the cafeteria be a hassle to deal with, but for someone such as herself it would be even more difficult. He only hoped it wouldn't come to anything like that. "Regardless of what happens, I'm sure we'll be safe. I would think most of the students would flee if any danger comes near this place. Sedative or not." He had a hard time believing that the students would simply stand around and watch if that great energy came toward the cafeteria.
Seiji's eyes stayed on Sheryl, still processing what she was saying. Would it really be that simple? Just wait for her to come back. It sounded easy enough, but just waiting could be more tiring than actually doing something. "Of course..." Seiji looked as if he wanted to say more but didn't. He'd be there for Ranka no matter the situation. His eyes looking to her hand, Seiji moved closer, reaching out as well. "Thank you." He said, his thoughts still a jumble. "I'll take care of her as best I can."

((no no no its an awesome post. great size! TRISTAN ;_; You aren't planning to have him die are you?)) Elly was not aware of what was happening for all she wanted was to get Tristan out of her which she did. It was then time for her to get Obidel out, but it wasn't working. She knew this wasn't going to work, his hold on her darkness was like that of a waterskier clutching onto his bar. She knew what she had to do, but that meant sacrificing herself, if she could help it. Suddenly though, something came at her in a flash.
It was dejavu of the past, when she was in the field practicing with Bobby when Obidel took control of her body. The only difference was that Elly was not in her own body, but a bystander watching what was going on. First it came to Bobby being knocked out to Elly's darkness she had just obtained being taken hold of and she was attacking her brother, slaughtering him. She had no idea how brutal it was until this moment. How was it that she seeing this stuff after all these years? it was so strange. But now she knew that it was Obidel doing these things. She also saw that he killed many people too, so these had to be Obidels memories that were linked to her. This only made Elly more angry and when she came to again, her anger was raging, the orb at her fingertip from before was starting to crackle. "So you were the one who killed my brother? I knew it had to be you! GET OUT OF MY BODY!!!" she yelled, her arms rasing to create a shield of light around herself and Obidel. Obidel only laughed with her voice and started to make the orb raise. Elly was groaning and gritting her teeth to make the orb absorb into the body again, though the occurance could prove too much for her to handle, killing her instantly.
There was only one thing left to do, and that was to explode the large orb and absorb the impact as much as possible, Obidel taking all of the hit. Screaming, Elly lit up her arura, the visible signs of white and black swirling like a hurricane on the sea. She brought her hands to her head, ripping Obidel out with her anger as she found herself running into the orb. She smiled, tears falling from her face as she turned to look at where Vira and Tristan was, though Tristan was not visible or there. She turned her head quickly and looked at the orb with fear and exhaustion. she was reading for this moment, she was ready to face death. There was so much that she wanted to do and say, but there was also a lot that she wanted to be forgiven for. One thing was for sure though; she wasnted to get rid of Obidel once and for all and avenge Bobby as well as Master Atlas and Tristan. As she ran into the orbs friction and unstable sparks of darkness and light, she swore she saw her brother Bobby looking at her from the purity of her light, the look of understanding and longing in his eyes.
Elly gulped as she ran into the orb, screaming as though she were about to push something with all of her might... This was the moment where Atlas came to the rescue. As Elly screamed into the orb, running to her potentual death, Atlas created a barrier around them all, the distance fromthe orb quite far now that things were being pushed. "EVERYONE GET DOWN AND COVER YOUR HEADS! THIS IS GOING TO BE A BUMPY JOLT!" he warned everyone in a booming voice. He was near where Tristan was, the body and all not there, but a small glass box sat where Tristan was. Atlas opened it and a crystal blue light emited from it. It looked like a blue heart, beating inside of it, though the shape was a bit off."Come on Tristan... If you die completely, Elly'll kill me when she comes to..." Inside the orb there were two figures, Elly and Obidel. The sounds did not come out and they both looked different. In this unstable energy, Obidel had one black wing and Elly had a white and a black wing. They ran at each other, the wings clashing in to a firey mess on explosion. Elly smiled and created one light orb in her right hand and a black one in her other. obidel smiled evilishly the whole time but once Elly started to join the two arbs, slowly due to the roaring around them and the blurr of things, he looked terrified. He ran at her, only able to leap and fly a bit, but it was too late, once the two small orbs joined, there was a cataclismic explosion on the campus. Atlas had to stand up to hold his shield, all of them. Syon planted himself infront of the cafeteria windows, the windows themselves shattering, but his massive rock body prevented any debre from hittin the students. The explosion was contained inside Atlas' new shield, the radiation almost too much for him to bare, his arms becoming black from the impact of the explosion which caused a fault to form int he ground where the center was. What had happened to Elly?

(( Hahaha, we'll see. ^_^ )) Sheryl nodded, that was good. She'd rather be able to talk to him without any effects from the nurse. Sighing, she closed her eyes and tuned her senses more to what was happening at the lake, needing to only take a moment. "True. Though... Perhaps the situation will resolve quickly." She murmured softly, smiling softly as he moved closer. She took his hand and shook it, her grip surprisingly firm despite her current state of being. "You better. I'll beat the tar out of you if you don't." She chuckled, giving his hand another, gentler squeeze as she raised her eyes. The seal on her chest glowed faintly, closing bother her eyes as she listened. Understood.
Her expression brightened a bit, not seeming to care as the ground shook violently, not really having to worry bout that getting down considering how she was sitting. "Hmm.... I suspect she'll be back somewhat soon. Give her...... ten minutes at most." She mused, observing as everyone did as the head master told. She was rather calm amongst this, her own worries slipping away.

Vira looked over to Elly, now that the threat of the mermaids was gone, the glow remaining in her eyes, though it was less murderous. At least once she heard Elly shout at this Obidel. Narrowing her eyes, realization hit her as she saw that orb. No. Her hands clenched at her sides, almost about to try to stop Elly from killing herself when Atlas appeared. This caught her off-guard, allowing the wind and water to calm that she had been about to control. She brought up her hands, combining her elements to get rid of some of the force, remaining standing.
She walked up to the head master once his barrier was up, looking down to the box that was there. She heard him and her tears fell down upon the blue heart, her breath shaking. Tearing her eyes away, she glared at where Elly was, the glow fading from her eyes as she calmed down. So... he could be brought back? Maybe? "Dammit Elly, I said to not try to get yourself killed." She whispered under her breath, trying to wipe away her tears. God she had no idea how to feel right now. All she knew was that she felt that loss and it upset her. She darted to the other side of the lake, moving more out of the way of the barrier.
Blinking, Ranka saw and heard Atlas, glancing down to the vial that she held. Tristan was stirring inside of it, but he was still very weak. She raised the vial up to her eye level, releasing him now that he was awake. "You are in Purgatory essentially. You are dead right now. Elly is currently fighting Obidel. Vira is distraught and very upset." She spoke, explaining the basics to him. Right now, the Elder's were reminding her the way things worked. One life, it would be reborn elsewhere as a different person. And they would not remember their former life.
Tristan felt... really light. Lighter than normal. Taking a moment, he was a bit bewildered by all the info Ranka threw at him, still getting over the fact he was looking at her. "So... I did die." He nodded slowly to that, glancing up to where she had been looking before. He could see Atlas and Vira, and... As his eyes focused on the barrier he started to step towards it but found he couldn't, her words now actually reaching him.
Taking a deep breath, he was surprisingly calm, brushing his hair from his eyes. "But she's ok....Thank goodness." He exhaled, Atlas' words echoing around the space once more. "So how does this work? Can I go back or am I...? well, you know." He asked, clearing his throat.
"Dead. For me to allow what Atlas is saying to come to pass, I must disobey the creed set down by the Elder's. Unless they tell me otherwise, I should treat your case like everyone else." Ranka answered softly, not understanding why this hurt. His obvious relief to Elly being alright made her blink once, tilting her head a little. She must mean a great deal to him. "I am unfamiliar with the magic Atlas has up there. However, perhaps I can adjust the rules in the slightest." She double-checked with the Elders, knowing full well this was to maintain the order of the universe. Understood. With that she tugged his soul back into the bottle, slipping into another deeper level of her abilities.
Raising her eyes, Sheryl sighed heavily from where she was sitting. I see.... Interesting proposition. Very well, understood. Her seal began to glow, her eyes opening, the color matching the light blue light that was growing from her chest.
Up above in the world of the living there was something else happening away from this barrier where these two tectonic forces battled. There was a sparking in the air, growing into what appeared to be almost coffin shaped, instead revealing itself as a doorway. There was a brilliant flash of light, a slight shockwave going through the air. However, two forms soon stepped through this doorway, one being Ranka. The other was encased in shadow for a moment. Soon they swirled, turning to clothes that covered the body.
Landing lightly on the ground, the being revealed itself as a man, opening his eyes slowly. He was severely disoriented, taking a breath suddenly as if it were difficult to. Or at least, initially so.
Ranka looked to the man next to her, looking up to him. "This is the best I can do. Thank Atlas, Sheryl, and the Elder's. Good luck." She spoke, slipping away into her portal.
Coughing, he took another deep breath, the light seeming abnormally bright to him. He was disoriented, this body felt different. And he couldn't phase like he could before. A new... body? Does that mean new abilities? A hand touched his head, but he remained standing, looking up as he heard a voice behind him.
Ok seriously? s**t needed to stop blowing up now. Badly. As she watched that new girl appear with this unfamiliar man, she was perturbed, approaching him warily. Though, considering what the girl had said, she was confused. No, this wasn't possible. The dead did not come back. Never. "T-Tristan?" She asked hesitantly, taking a step closer to him.
Turning, his dark eyes rested upon Vira, not wasting any time to move forward and hug her tightly. "Sorry for scaring you. I am an idiot." He whispered, allowing her to cry into his chest, raising his eyes to the giant dome in front of him. His voice sounded a bit deeper than before, but not too deep, sounding a little alien to him. And he was taller than before. Not by much, but still. Elly.... Once she had calmed down enough he walked with Vira just a little closer to the edge of the barrier, at the moment not looking for a hint of what his powers might be. Right now he was worried about Elly inside there. God he felt tired... No, now wasn't the time. He would rest plenty after this.

((I must sleep after this lol)) "Look what you did, haha! You managed to kill off someone else important to you. Wow, sucks to be you, huh? So what now Elly? You're just going to kill me along with yourself? You have to know that you won't get out of this alive, that is, if you manage to kill me..." Obidel cawed out of his nasty, ccrow like mouth. Elly wanted to throw up, but not only because of him hiself, but because her energy was being drained from her, the light she was using, the darkness that was becoming more and more unstable. Not only that, but that b*****d Obidel was morphing into something of darkness. So this was it huh... she had to fight... and she had to go out of control... Well at least it was a fun way to die, unstable elemental on the loose. Great kid, cursed powers. Elly sighed and used her light to make those arrows again as Obidel turned into some sort of darkness monster, a hundred times bigger than it had to be. Elly ran towards it, the monster now throwing darkness at her and creating fast orbs that followed her. Elly had to run and dodge, getting hurt and not being able to heal herself for everything was being held back as to not hurt the others. Light wasn't cutting it. In fact, the light was starting to hurt herself so there was only one thing she could do, numb it up. And what better way than to numb it up with darkness.
She let her light go and started to use darkness. She used the in cantations that made her loose control from before and she let it grow unstable. The black that was misty glew more solid and then spread to her arms and then upa nd down her neck and into her eyes, black and white again like when possessed. A screech issued out of her mouth and wins formed on her back. they were more bat like than angel and instead of focusing on Obidel, she was more or less trying to break through the orb, blasting darkness left and right. the Obidel monster, though more controled than Elly was, issued the first attack which was not wise for Elly ripped him appart, litterally, and smashed him into the soul of the orb. Not. Good. the orb started to shake, like a ball on the tip of a hill and then loosing its balance. Soemthing in Elly was saying to control it, but the darkness was knocking her unconscious more and more.
Elly felt herself in that floaty place again but anywhere she looked, she couldn't find anything. No one was there, was it her turn to choose what to do? Once this came up, two paths were chosen. One was yellow and the other white. She knew what this meant. The white was swirled with black, but it shone brighter than the sun itself and she knew that it was destiny. "Sorry Atlas... but I don't think i'm cut out to live anymore..." she said to herself and finally she was able to set foot in the room she was in and walk towards the white and black. Suddenly, she was awake and in control of her power. Obidels dead body was there in peaces andher hands in a bloody mess. The darkness subsidded in her, but her arm was practically torn off and her side had a big gash, bleeding out of it. Elly sighed and started to chuckle a bit, wincing at the pain. So this is what pain feels like? Well it wasn't pleasant. the only good hand could hardly move too and Elly knew it was the end. she used what little energy she had and walked/hobbled into the soul of the orb, a big flash happened and a rumbling boom also occured. It seemed like only a second but from outside of it, anyone could tell it was like she was bombed 100 times over. Atlas smiled and laughed as Tristan was getting used to having a second chance. He turned his gaze back to the dome, wondering when Elly was going to come out. 'Soon... very soon.... yup... Elly where are you.... don't take your time...' No, something wasn't right here... Atlas got up and walked over to the barrier he put up. He was about to go into it when the rumble happened. "No... NO! ELLY WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!!? THAT WASN'T.... NNNOOO!!!" Atlas shouted, the blast not taking place even more. Atlas phased through the barrier, him the only person able to right now, and he ran in to stop Elly, the radiation blasting him back at his own barrier, not knockin him out but hitting it to the point where blood started to drip from his head. The didn't stop hikm for her got up again, the light and black swirling and blending into nothingness, the white light, being stray, cancelled out the bad, which was blackness.
Atlas ran at full speed through nothing to try and find Elly. "Elly!! EELLLLYYYY! ANSWER ME YOU FOOLISH GIRL!!!" he called out, expecting to hear something. He concentrated but couldnt find her. Did she teleport away... no, her presence was still there but it was... fading?! Atlas knew where she was and he ran to her, the pool of blood issuing from her and it was splattered down there. finally there she was, an unmoving girl on the ground with a pool of blood and the only power he didn't possess was healing, the only thing he couldn't do, he felt hopeless.
He knelt down and wanted to move her over, but was afraid that if she were alive, he'd kill her. Shaking hand were now visible and he felt pain in him. He was always the calm and cool level headed heatmaster that didn't do anything other than joke around a lot. But he couldn't even talk now. "...guys....h-hey... E-Elly, wake up... g-guys... GUYS! he said softly, his voice crackling and then he boomed it out to the group he was just with. They needed to save Elly, she was dying.

((I curse the day exams were invented ¬_¬ that is all...)) Jareth barely noticed when Vira slipped from Calcifer, too busy watching the fight. He' let the reins hang limp on the horses neck, leaning forwards in a relaxed position as if the animal were some kind of sofa. The fae stuck by his decission to not get involved, his expression only growing sombre as Elly and Vira's friend, the Tristan boy came back from the brink of death. "That...How?!" he hissed, perplexed and perhaps a little scared. His whole life had been a set of reactions, cause and effect. If this boy had come back from the dead, what price would have to be paid? Before he could grow too worried the bomb blew, the rumbling spooking the horse and Jareth had to fight to keep the massive animal in check. Rather then trying to stop him, Jareth just pushed the energy the horse had into getting to Atlas as quickly as possible. With the duel over the fae's concern was for his room mate. Not that he'd admit to that willingly. "Keep speaking to her Atlas...." he muttered, although having never met the man in person it was obvious who he was. Dismounting Jareth quickly found the wounds that were bleeding the most and froze them, attempting to stop the blood flow. "My people are not healers, this will only hinder her over time. However, if it buys you time until a real healer can get here...." he explained, before drawing back behind Atlas, unwilling to do anything more. In fact he seemed to be trying to keep a distance, as if afraid that his overall destructive nature might hinder her recover.

Seiji still didn't really have a clue as to what was going on. Sheryl seemed to understand more than he did. Which was only natural. Despite her battered form, she still probably had more contact with the world beyond the cafeteria. He still felt frusterated, unable to do anything from here. It was difficult for him to simply sit around and wait. He always took some sort of action in scenarios like this. It almost annoyed him being forced to stay here. Though in the end, it wasn't like he could really do much else.
Seiji sighed, letting his hand drift from Sheryl's thankful that she was offering some sort of sympathy, or rather understanding. After all, they were sisters, she probably felt stronger about the whole thing than he did. He nodded in responbue, his lips turning upward into a light smile at her comment. Seiji wasn't an almighty being or even someone of great strength, but he did his best to keep his word. He could do that much to the best of his ability.
Seiji felt himself growing more anxious by the minute. How much longer would they be stuck there? He exhaled, about to stand when the ground shook, causing him to stumble forward. Reaching out with both hands, Seiji stopped himself from falling, looking about the cafeteria. Most of the students were fine, some had fallen, a few cried out as they fell. Most of them were in shock from the sudden movement, unsure of what was going on. Seiji looked to Sheryl, who seemed to be busy with something. What was going on? His eyes looked to the direction of the lake. Something was happened. Seiji cursed himself for feeling so useless.

(( Jeeez, everyone's just dropping like flies. xD )) Tristan... no wait... Was that his name still? He felt Ranka's voice resound in his head, telling him all he would need to know about his new form. Interesting, he'd have to practice with his powers immediately. He could now sense the overwhelming darkness and battle that was raging inside the barrier, looking down to Vira who straightened up. Now was not the time to be too emotional, they had to focus. He felt his nerves were stretched at this point, taking all of what had happened to him rather well. Though, it probably helped that his mind was elsewhere focusing on other things. On the first person he would and had given his life for. Come on Elly...
At the explosion he felt as if his stomach had fallen out of his body, the swelling darkness subsiding to a very weak signature, the other one gone. Breaking into a run, he didn't even think of anything else. Vira was right at his heels though, her nerves basically shot at this point. Now it was his turn to be afraid, following after Atlas as he saw him find the girl that he had to keep alive. He would not accept this ending. He almost seemed to slide along the ground as he arrived at her side, taking her one good hand. "This is not the point of giving my life for you. Come on Elly!" He felt electricity spark between his fingers, about to reach his hand forward when he felt someone jerk it back.
Ranka appeared right as her sister left without a word, hugging Seiji tightly from behind. Her face she hid in his back, surprisingly calm though that wasn't how she felt. "I... I didn't want to separate them.... I almost didn't... " She forced herself to be quiet, her hands clinging as they shook. Another was on the brink, now the girl. She couldn't tweak the Elder's a second time this day. She knew what the cost would be and she couldn't do it. Save her Sheryl... I know you can.
Sheryl narrowed her eyes, snatching away the boys hand as she grimaced at how her crushed leg hated the fact she had moved and now had no support. "MOVE!" She snapped, not caring that she had begun to bleed again. She would be fine. This girl on the other hand. Narrowing her eyes, she held out both hands, feeling for the life energy that flowed through everything, stealing some from the grass since Elly's was so weak.
Her blue eye flared to life as did her seal, a bright golden light swirling around her hands and then over the wounds, knitting together tissue at a much more rapid pace than she could her own. She took care of the gash first, the blood that was soaking into the ground now running in the opposite direction, instead flowing back into the wound. "Hey Atlas, think you'll be hiring any Healer's any time soon?" She asked with a faint smirk, yet her expression remained one of utmost concentration. The wound in her side began to glow on it's own, rapidly healing itself as she turned her attention to this missing arm.
First I have to make a new body, now this. I should get paid. Her brows furrowed, the bone beginning to regrow first, slices of it reforming into the proper shape. After that came the nerves and blood vessels, winding and rushing down the bone as flesh began to form. It was almost a work of art how the pieces just seemed to grow from what was there. Coughing, she winced herself, ignoring her own wounds. At one point she seemed to move her fingers as if she were manipulating wires or something, simply making necessary connections as they needed to come. At this point, Elly wouldn't be feeling the pain. She'd only feel a tingling sensation that was almost akin to the sensation of stepping into a nice hot spring.
Taking a deep breath, the arm would be done soon, skin starting to appear, the gash in her side completely healed. "She'll be fine in a few more minutes. I do not recommend her moving about too much for the next day just to be safe. She'll feel perfectly fine, but have the Nurse keep an eye on her. She should definitely not use her powers. Tristan, or... well.. Malachi, I'm trusting you to ensure this." She murmured so they could all hear, raising her eyes. It was clear this was a major strain for her, planning on a long nap after this.
Vira was crouched at Elly's head, closer to Jareth as she grimaced. She had to not cry. She had to. No one else was, and she had already shed too many tears. She sat there as still as stone, raising her eyes only to look at Tristan, taking note of his expression. If he wasn't so worried, he'd be shouting at her. Which was understandable. He had already died for her once, and now she was where he had been a while before. This girl was fantastic at what she did, her golden eyes following the swift movements and what she was doing. If it weren't her friend being the one worked on, she would have been fascinated to watch everything knitting back together.
But it worried her, she saw the gaping hole in the girls side and how her leg was severely broken. She formed a barrier of ice around the wound, at least containing the blood she was losing by a bit. It was something she could do.

Everything was happening so quickly now. He was losing track of everything and before he knew it, Sheryl had seemed to disappear. Well, they did have realm over Life and Death. It wasn't really his fault, but at the same time, he felt like she should be doing something at least. Sheryl was still injured. She shouldn't have really been doing anything but looking after herself. But if she was being called into action, he really couldn't do anything about it. He just hoped nothing too dangerous would happen at the lake. If people were dying over there, he'd feel responsible for letting her go. Not that he really had a say in the matter anyway.
He was left there alone now, with nothing to do but let his eyes wander and his mind roam. Staying around and worrying would get him no where. It looked like so far he wasn't going to be able to leave either. Not if the teachers around had anything to say about it. Then again waiting around might be the better idea. If Sheryl had left, then maybe Ranka had finished with her work. So long as no one else was going to die, or came near to death, then it would be okay right? Seiji seemed to get his answer right away as a pair of arms wrapped around him. At first, he hadn't been sure of what was happening. He looked down to the arms, thinking someone was just being friendly in their greeting. That thought vanished as his eyes took in the pale skin of Ranka's hands, and the blue material of her clothes.
Seiji felt his lips curl into a smile as he reached for her hands. Though as she spoke, his smile faded, hearing her words. It seemed her emotions were already beginning to affect how she went about dealing with the dead. He hoped that wouldn't be too much of a problem. For the time being, he wouldn't think about any of that. Mainly, he was just happy she returned without any injuries. He didn't know what had happened there, but it seemed obvious Ranka was upset. Taking her hands, Seiji wasn't really sure of how to respond. "I'm sure you did the right thing. We can't be held accountable for other people's actions." It was all he could do to try and console her. He hoped he was helping in some way.

Drifting, floating, skimming, swirling. What was happening? First it was Elly being snuffed out like a candles flame with wet finger tips and then the next moment the candle flame was being guarded so it could have room to grow. Elly was definately on the brink of death and in her dream she was having, she was smiling and laughing for she was a kid again, playing with Bobby. The dream grew to her age, growing with her and Bobby was still there. It was as thought time had skipped faster and faster, Bobby turning into a handsome young man and Elly into how she was now. he had graduated from Estelle Academy and was going on to the city along with a girlfriend to become guardians. It was a rather joyous dream, but it was instantly ruined, but not in a bad way. No. It was good for Elly not only didn't feel any pain, but she heard voices of people whom she grew to love. She was slowly regaining her consciousness, but she was so very tired and her eyes wouldn't open. Groans issued as she tried to to turn, but she felt restrictions and some pain and decided it was for the best not to move
It was then that she heard a voice in her head and it frightened her, at first, but it wasn't Obidels voice this time but... Bobby's? No it couldn't have been, but it was.. "Elly you have done well in taking on revenge for me. I love you, my sister, for doing that but if I could, I would hit you for being selfish like this. Atlas has helped you and your friend Tristan with your lives and Vira almost lost control over you. The two sisters have been doing things they should not be; everyone risking their lives for your neck. You yourself should remember that you must not rely on others to help you like this for if you want to protect them, you need to do things right." "Yes brother, you are right. I should have thought more and had my darkness in control more. I... I am sorry...." "Oh Elly I know and I forgive you. I wish I were able to protect you more, if only i were stronger then rather than now... but these things have happened and no one can change that. Atlas is a time traveler, yes, but you must know that he cannot change the future or past just because of us, that goes against his code. Nothing could have been done for us. I must bid you farewell, my dear sister. I will talk to you again someday. My spirit rests within you..." Bobby told her and as though he were really there, she felt a very cold sensation on her forehead, like a kiss.
Suddenly her eyes openes and she felt as though she were at the spa and regained health, but when she tried to sit up, she was forced back down by Atlas' hands and from stiffness in pain from moving. Everyone she knew was there; Vira, Ranka and her sister, Atlas, Zooger, Syon, Jareth, Mr. Smith and some of the students who were now being let out of the cafeteria. There was also someone new there whom Elly couldn't help but stare at. Something was telling her that she knew him, but from where? Was he a student that helped her.... no... it was someone she... Tristan? No it couldn't be; his solid form didn't look like that, even if he were in a shadowy state, he would look the same. But her heart was tugging towards Tristan and by looking deeply into his eyes and closing hers once and then reopening them, she could sense that it was him. "Tr-Tristan is that you?" she asked, still unsure. She unconsciously reached a hand out towards him as though she would know by touching him. There was so much she wanted to do, to say, especially thank him, if it was Tristan. Atlas laughed and clasped Elly's hand which was the one that wasn't attached as of a few moments ago. he was beyond happy to see his Elly awake and alive as though she were sleeping. "Oh Elly! You amaze me yet make me so angry that I want to lock you away forever!! I hope you know that you are too bold for your years my Elly. Please do not move, rest for you need it very much so so that you can use your powers for your punishment" he told her smiling and winking at her in his sarcasm. Atlas got up and swiped the dust and dirt from his clothing, getting Zoogers attention and turning to his students. "Dear students and teachers a like. I, Atlas Shields, as your headmaster have something i must inform you all of. Unfortuanately you could not see what was happening, based on our protecting you, though im sure you have had some glimpse of it in short. A student here, Elly Meairna, encountered someone from her past who had a grudge against the school, myself, and Elly. Elly did what she could under my instruction to protect us from the creatures of the lake who were under the comand of the person Elly faced. Once safety was ensured by those who could do it, Elly persued the man and battled him almost loosing her life. I recommend that you do not follow in these steps until out of school, after you have perfected your powers and abilities. If this is a problem that could become real in the months or years to come, please do tell me for you could be risking your friends lives. And do thank Elly when she is better that she did in fact save your lives and prevented your minds from being maipulated into killing each other. That is all," Atlas said in his magically booming voice and then told Zooger as well as other teachers to get the students back to their dorms. Atlas then found the secretary and started to talk to her about how to hush up the hype of what just occured.

Ranka took a deep breath as she felt his hands on her own, her brows furrowing since she had never ever EVER been this bothered before. She gave his hands a gentle squeeze as she heard him, smiling faintly though it faded fast. "I.... I'm never supposed to bring someone back. Not like that. I'm just lucky I could bend the rules in the slightest otherwise the Elder's would have not been pleased with me." She said softly, now propping her chin on his shoulder since she had calmed down a little bit.
Ah good.... Things were resolved. She didn't have to deal with another death. She didn't have to worry about overstepping boundaries more than she already had. "Sorry. A lot was going on." She fell quiet as she suddenly heard Atlas' voice boom across the campus, glancing to the other students to observe their reactions. It was a lot to deal with. Some of them knew those involved, others didn't. It was over though. That was the important thing. "We'd better go get Sheryl, hm?" She asked him softly, blushing since her face had grown close to his due to her chin being on his shoulder. She put her eye patch on, standing up slowly, holding out a hand to help him up.
