Kyaro i can't get katakana, so in hiragana, mine would be ほりい it's not awful, i suppose..... Edit: Here it is romanized: HoriiYour name in katakana is ホリー。 Basically, if you are a foreigner, your name is supposed to be written in katakana, or it's technically wrong. If you're of japanese descent, written in katakana, or it's technically wrong. If you're of japanese descent, you can probably get away with hirigana or kanji, because that's probably how your name should be. Other than that, my advice is, all foreigners (myself included) stick to katakana with your name. Oh btw, my name in katakana is ロバート。よろしくね。

Hi, this is my first post here, by the way.
I think my name would be Ro ka san But as that might seem like I was referring to myself as -san I have decided to use Ro ka shi (a shorter, in English anyhow, nickname) to avoid that confusion.
If I am wrong and Rokasan would not give the odd impression, do tell me!
(Apologies, but I can't find my XP disc so currently I can only type/see hiragana at work.) ninja
EDIT: Also I haven't even begun learning katakana or kanji yet, but am aware my name, being non-Japanese, should be in katakana.

If I was in Naruto or in any anime, I would change my name as Raiden Hanamaku (ハなまく ラいでん Hanamaku Raiden).
My real name is Randy Goodhue but as Japanese, I think it would be Kōhyū Randi (Kouhyuu Randi).
It is a RANDOM guess. I don't know what it really would be.
