((Family and job drama is a very bad mix this week; TGIF!
Oh, and an age: let's make her 17. 14 doesn't seem like her.))
Melody bit her lip as she continued to eat the warm food; she'd need the energy since with the situation at hand, this was gonna be a tough quest to get to accomplish. The harpy couldn't leave and Ty couldn't go into the forest, so how were they going to get the two to get together? Dress as harpies?
She noticed the blind boy, Alexander, turn his head. "Something wrong?" she asked him.

"That is also why I didn't tell the Judge or anyone around that I was the high priestess, if I would've done so, they probably would've released ty right away... but the judge and the other leaders of the dryRocks probably would've assumed that the capital city was trying to usurp and take over the leadership in the dryRocks by sending me to investigate... and tensions would've risen...." She stated calmly, before looking over at melody
"Trust me..." she said confidently. "I have a plan.. I will fill you guys in on our way there ok." SHe stated starting to clean up. "we should leave fairly soon and attempt to get there around midday." She stated

"So then... Maybe having the threat in the water isn't so bad after all, now is it?" Jaden asked, already knowing the answer. "It keeps people from killing each other, and helps them stay united. Too bad this can't last forever though, after the threat is gone." Shaking his head, he waited for Rikku to lead the way.

Hearing Alexander say he heard something in the bushes where the humanoid now was, they ducked down behind the bushes completely, except for the tips of his ears as they twitched slightly.
Closing his eyes, the wind started to pick up to a light breeze, causing the fire to spark some as the flames tried to escape the logs. Each second that passed by, the winds became slightly worse, to just a point of being annoying to anyone. As they did, he opened his eyes, and leaped out of the bushes, and ran off towards Melody. Closing in towards her, he reached his hand out for her pendent she wore around her neck, and grasped hold of it and lifted it up, and over her head, and ran right past through the fire place as the flames seemed to split apart to let him through on his way back to the forest on the other side.

Luna was still busy with her food as she listened to them talk. "I'm willing to go when ever you are ready." Walking over to her things, she started rummaging around in them, looking for her water-skin.
((I forgot to add something to my new character's profile as well. He has an obsession with round purple objects. ^_^ ))

((Sorry about not posting all weekend.))
Melody
As the young neko grabbed her necklace right of her neck, she let out a little bit of a yell and flinched backwards. "Hey Give that Back." She screamed after him! "Guys I'm sorry to ask this of you but I need to get that back it was from my grandfather, could someone help me chase him down!." She pleaded.

"Rikku why don't we split into a couple of groups, Me, melody and someone can chase after him, while you, and killian head on to the forest." he said with a hint of urgency in his voice. "Luna, Jaden, and Alexander can do what they want, either come with us or go with you, and we can meet up here later.
Rikku
"Sounds like a good idea, Alexander, Jaden, Luna what do you guys want to do?" She asked frantically

She noted what Alexander said, but before wondering if it was true or just paranoia, the wind suddenly picked up and something rushed towards her. Holding her hand up to defend herself, she wasn't sure what had happened at first as it almost seemed to leap over her and keep moving.
It wasn't until she got up and went to clench her brother's charm, til she realized it wasn't there. She panicked; whatever that was just took it from her! She had vaguely heard Rikku try to split groups, but if someone didn't keep up with that thing, she'd lose it for good, and she couldn't afford to lose anything else...
Throwing the staff into her hands like a club or hammer, she took off at a dash through teh trees, trying to keep up with now what was a blob in the distance, her face of serious concentration and fairly angry. Why would someone just steal something like that?
"Get back here; that's not yours!"

"Where would the fun be if I just gave it back?" The Nekko laughed as he leaped over bushes, and ran further into the forest. Rounding a tree, he climbed the back of it, and hid in the tree's branches, and waited to see Rikku.

"I'll go after him!" Jaden had started to run off after the Neko as well. He is faster than the Neko, but he didn't know the area quite as well. Seeing the Cat-Person round the tree, Jaden did the same, but he didn't see where he went to, and slowed down to a walk, trying to find him.

Luna watched as the Humanoid ran off into the forest. She wouldn't be able to catch him, but they didn't need a lot of people to catch a single person.

Ty spread his big black wings and took off towards the creature that ran off into the forest, just behind jaden.
Rikku
"Good luck!" She cried to them as they ran off to catch whatever had her necklace. "Well.." She said putting everything back in the bag, "we are set... shall we head towards the harpy city?" She asked, if the remaining members were ready. "I am sure they will catch him and be back here long before we are done in the harpy forest... so we had better hurry." She said to luna, Killian, and Alexander.

Melody finally noticed why the scent seemed so familiar to her; it was another neko like herself. I thought they only existed in TerraCotta; why is this one way out here like myself? If there were any other similarities, she couldn't make them out in their running.
"Stealing possessions of other people's possessions isn't my term for fun." she responded as she too slowed to a walk; like the others chasing him, she had lost the stranger in the trees. Her anger rising, her voice finally reached a decent volume as she took her staff and murmured a spell. A flame was now in her other open palm; she was going to light it on her staff, but what if it hit a branch? She twirled it in her hand as she spoke, her voice bitter since it reminded her of her lost brothers.
"I'm assuming that gust of wind was you? Ha, last I recall, much of Terracotta was ready to fight with sword in hand for 'eternal glory'. While I suppose it's a blessing that not all the men have gone off to be blown to BITS in war, if this is what you're doing with your time then you're not using your potential very well.
I'll ask you only once more; return that pendant to me."

"You need to lighten up some!" His face showed a smile from behind the branches. "You'll get it back, you just need to catch me." He said back to her, being just a few feet to her side.
Seeing an orb of fire form in her hand, he started a quick chant that caused an orb of water to form above Melody's fire orb, and let it fall trying to extinguish the flame. "I don't think so... You might burn down the forest with that."
Waiting for her to turn to face him, he would do a back flip, further into the tree. "Oh, I do much more than this, I just wanted to do something different." With that, he was off again, jumping from tree to tree, heading closer to where his axe laid.

Jaden tried to toss a few daggers at the Neko, but wasn't able to get any hits due to the branches. "He does sound like he will give it back, just not with out a chase... This'll be interesting..." Looking over to Melody, who looked to be extremely angry, he shook his head, and headed off after him, following the noise of the branches as the neko leaped from branch to branch.

Ty flew chasing after his target he would already be caught, but ty kept having to duck and weave throught trees. "Try this." he stated summoning his demon boomerang and hurling it towards this other neko, it tore through branches and bushes on it's way.
Rikku.
"Anyways about the plan, ok you guys are going to be "kidnapping" lady cefia ok?" Rikku stated, "her guards will probably be armed but I am confident that it is nothing we can't handle, however we will have to knock them unconcious, not kill them... oh and you guys have to just kidnap her... you can't kidnap me as well because it would look too staged... so when you attempt to kidnap her... i will have to pretend to protect her as well, but don't worry about me, because I will use my weakest spells and once the guards are knocked out, I will take care of everything from there, what do you think?"

Promises were not something Melody believed in much anymore; they were nothing more than empty hopeful words to her; after all, her brothers had promised to come back safe and sound, which was very, VERY far from the case. So when he had mentioned on just having to catch him to get it back, she remained skeptical and angry as he had doused her flame.
He had asked her to lighten up; if anythiung she hadn't felt this heavily filled and boiling in a long time.
She continued to chase him after seeing a couple other people pass her; she'd like to strangle this guy after she got ahold of him. The nerve of taking things from others just so spontaneously like that was something she had issues grasping, mainly the concept of why.

"So, we will be "kidnapping" her?" Luna replied to Rikku as she told them the plan. "Sounds like it wont be too hard. I just can't guarantee about just knocking out the guards. Accidents to happen." She wasn't sure if this plan would work, but its better than going in with no plan though.

Still moving from branch to branch, he spoke up. "Come on, you gotta be faster than that if you want to keep up." Hearing Ty's challenge, he looked behind him to see a boomerang coming after him. At the last minute, he jumped down from the branch back onto the ground avoiding the thrown weapon. Doing a 180 one on the ground, he backtracked using a large gust of wind to push Jaden out of the way. Once out of the way, the neko ran towards Melody before turning to his right, a few feet away from her, heading deeper into the forest. "So, whats your names?" He asked, as he became slightly tired of the running.

Jaden was unable to get out of the way fast enough, and was blown off to the side as the Neko ran past him. "Damn, he's fast with magic..." Shaking his head, he started to get back up, and started to chase him once more going back the opposite way. Unable to follow the neko's quick turn, he almost ran right into Melody.

Alexander nodded. Rikku's plan was certainly better then He could come up with at the moment. "Should we wait til night fall? I think that would make it easier too sneak around" He said.

((yay your all back... I was kinda scared that this was gonna die.))

"No... because if we attack the palace there is no way you guys will survive, I will ask that the lady and I may go on a walk, with her escorts of course you guys will wait at a strategically placed point and ambush us from there." She stated putting her hair up using a pin with a large beautiful flower, and pulling an even more beautiful dress out of her bag, and using her magic, she instantly changed clothes. "THere we go, now I'm ready to be presented to the royal harpy family." She said sliding on some more jewelry and using her magic to put on some makeup. "Im sorry... I promise I am not shallow or anything, it is just that I have to look the part... not like I have been adventuring." SHe stated as they began to walk, towards the edge of the forest. "Alexander, will you come with me as my "Escort"? She asked him kindly. "It would look suspicious if I was out by myself."

His boomarang appeared in his hand again as he threw it again. "The names TY what about yourself." He asked gaining on the Neko.
