"AHH!! No! Don't touch it! It's too tender. I'll take care of it myself." She pulled a roll of gauze out of a pocket in her coat and walked to the bathroom. The sounds of grunting and wincing could he beard from inside, along with an occasional explicitive. Without warning, an extremely loud, "FFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK!!" burst forth. After a moment of silence, the sound of the sink running issued forth and the ceased. Maya walked out of the bathroom, seemingly the same as when she went in. "No good, Rook. I can't touch it with anything. I poured rubbing alchohol in it, and that burned like nothing else, but seemed to do the trick. It just goes straight through, no problem. That being said, I never want to do that again." She shook her head and tied back her dreadlocks. "Do you have any T-shirts I can wear? Nothing form fitting, mind you." she asked reluctantly, after considering how odd she looked with a large hole in her chest.

((Warum ist Kat nicht hier? Und E.D.? Sie ist notwendig.))
"We need to cover it up. With gauze. Drink something strong, Maya. This is gonna sting.

"How about...NO! I just need a damn shirt, Rook. You don't have a giant freakin hole in your chest, so you don't know just how bad this f&%#@n' hurts! All I want is a T-Shirt." After a moment, she added, "Please."

"Trust me. I've had some big gaping holes in my chest. And gut. A few in my leg. I know how bad it hurts, I just need you to trust me, okay?"

"You may have HAD one, but you don't right now! Do ya want me to put one there? Then we can bandage each other up! Till then, I ain't lettin ya touch this!" Maya glared at Rook with finallity and zipped up her trench coat. After a moment, she sighed. "Alright Rook. I can't take the puppy dog eyes." She unzipped her jacket and bit her lip. "Just.....Make it quick, Kay?"

Rook nodded, quickly gathering the needed items- Gauze, ace wrap, and a large bottle of something strong from Marcus' cabinet.
"This is gonna hurt like hell. Drink some of this and tell me when I'm hot."

"Sorry Rook. Nothing personal, but I'd be dead from alcohol poisoning before that happened." Maya tipped back the bottle, fully chugging half of it before taking a breath and handing it to Rook. After a few minutes, her eyes lost focus on the world and she gestured at Rook to go at it. As he started cleaning, wrapping and bandaging the wound, she began to babble drunkenly. "Y'kno Rook...If you weren't a guy I might like you more. If that new chick wasn't such a b***h, I'd totally like her more. And that Roxy girl...Oh yea. I'd tap that....Y'kno I never noticed it, but stuff gets just as drunk as people do. That bottle? Sloshed. The cabinet with dishes in it? Smashed. That fridge over there? Wasted....." She trailed off after a bit with a giggle.

"I could make myself be a chick, but the idea of a female me gives me the creeps. And the new chick? We're going to deal with her attitude after I'm done fixing your new piercing." He opted to leave the comment about Roxy unanswered, being as that'd just make things keep being awkward.

"Speak of the Devil and she shall appear!" came a sing-song voice from the doorway. "BUM-BUM-BUMMMM!" shouted Maria dramatically as she jumped into the doorway, arms outstretched. With a laugh, she casually strolled over to Rook and Maya. "Heya guys. Turns out, there's some really weird stuff on the beach! Check it!" She pulled a large, poisonous crab from her coat pocket and tickled its shell. "Idnt he cuuuuuute!" Without warning, the crab began to spasm, and then went limp. "And now, he's delicious!" She chuckled and ripped off one of its legs, sucking the meat out with relish. "Oh, and sorry 'bout almost killin' ya earlier, Weird Chick. You just freaked me out a bit, is all. It wasn't personal." She looked genuinely sorry for hurting Maya.

Rook looked to Maria with a raised eyebrow.
"You are insane. I'm not sure if you had been made aware of this... But you are bonafied nucking futs." With that, he went back to tending to Maya's wound.

Maria didn't know whether to pout or laugh. "That's rude. I can't help it sometimes. There's no point getting in a tizzy over something you can't control. That'd be like being in a bad mood because I want the sun to come up in the west instead of the east. 'Tough s**t' and all that, right?" She shook her head and tossed the rest of the crab into the sink, right next to Kat.

"I'm not bitching, simply making an observation. You are insane, in the same way you replied to my observation with one of your own: 'That is rude'. So, all works out well." He examined his handywork, and opted to guide Maya back to her room so she could sleep off the booze.

Revan Maxwell
It was early morning when Tyson had uncurled from his spot on the floor. Rolling onto his back, he lifted his buttocks into the air, and then raise the rest of his back, suspending himself with his arms and legs. As unusual as the stretch was, he liked it. A lot in fact. He sighed in strange ecstasy as random bones in his spin silently popped into alignment. Letting himself slowly down to get the most out of his stretch, he flipped to his feet, landing quietly on the carpeted floor. He would have followed up with a hand-spin or even a floor fan kick, but the books were in the way.

No matter, the mute would simply find some other way to get himself worked up for the day. He moved over to a blank spot on the wall and began his ritual work out in reverse order of how he usually tried it at the beach. He worked his way into a hand stand and managed to extended his body in a perfect vertical before lowering his body again. His shirt. The room was warm and had no natural air flow that he could feel, not like the open sea. Tyson removed his shirt and tossed it to where he had been laying before. He then hoped himself back int a handstand and strained to get that perfect vertical again. When finally achieved, he began his work out, slowly lowering his body up and down while maintaining balance. Even with years of practice under his belt, this was hard to do, especially when just waking up and groggy. He fell twice and stumbled, leaned dangerously close to one side, and touched the wall multiple times before his guesstimated hour long session was complete. When he examined the window, it was still dark, though sun rays were peeking out of the corner of the window and in the sky. He had time to waist, he figured, and moved the large collection of book carefully to one side of the room, keeping each stack in the same order as they had been before. He even made neater stacks.

With a wide enough area clear away, he could start with his daily Capoeira-esque routine. After a few test flips to see how hard he could flip himself before making a large impact on the carpet floor, he was off into his work out. Flipping, cartwheeling, sweeping, kicking, sweeping, kicking, rolling, jumping, flipping then back flipping. It would have been hard to tell the boy was homeless at one point they way he moved so fluidly and precisely, inside the enclosed area and low roof.

Not too long into his routine, it became clear that an extra person was in the room. Mae, stood at the doorway watching with interest. She had a cup of tea in her hands, and her dark hair was tied carelessly back in a small pony tail she had worn to bed. She smiled at Tyson, taking a brief sip of her tea. "My father says the tea leaves claim there to be visitors today, but since the restaurant regularly has visitors, I'm not sure if that means today is exciting as it should be. As long as they are friendly, I suppose."

She moved into the room, sitting on one of the chairs. "Where did you learn to do that....that dance, or is it a martial art?"

Kat jumped back at the tossed crab, looking startled, and somewhat disgusted, being a food snob. She gave the crab a small poke with a fork before her face lost a bit of color and turned a slight bit green. She took a few steps back, taking some quick breaths. "All right, so I'm heading to the Chinese restaurant. Anyone is welcome to come."
