Ninja Zackeus But no cloak? My armor is kind of well..... broken. I should get the cloak, no? Its not broken, just damaged... Besides if it was broken we could easily have a blacksmith fix it. I stand by my suggestion that coldhands' charactor should be granted the item depending on it enchantment. Also Ninja, none of use besides those from the original party(Erron+Selce) had magic items untill this point. This is so we don't get into disputes like this agian but lets take up a system for item spreading here. I suggest a tally system. Mundane items will not count towards a tally while slightly magical items will count as 1 tally and then everything above that will be one tally more however more powerful it is. Items will be placed upon character's based upon need or those that can use the item to the most effectiveness (such as Laren getting a new bow or Kal getting a cloak of shadows or something along those lines) mostly but should everyone be able to use the item to an equal degree then we use the tally system to determine who gets it.

So basically an honor system with a need over greed implementation tacked on, sounds like common sense wins another small yet important victory today, at least, until Karasu and Cold have to figure out who gets a the next magical Battle Axe. Shhhhhh....Tonas while we're on the subject of armors, I'm actually curious if my monk will be able to get a set new robes to reflect his advanced training when and if he reaches grandmaster rank?

Yes, there will be a few Monk robes in your travels. Where they are found and what they do is a mystery though hehe.

Alright. I guess we'll just have to wait for the scan thing. I assumed it would be something for sneak and got overly anxious and therefore greedy. Sorry. Can't wait for the enchantment request thing though. I want my boots enchanted with Speed or Feather or something along those lines. (This coming from an Oblivion geek. I don't know fully what DnD has far as halfling thief enchantments are considered.)

Actually you could. You just had to fortify or agility and arcobatics if you wanted any chance of survival...
Lets just say I've spent a good amount of time jumping(liturally) from town to town in Morrowind... That freaking scroll of jumping you find just outside of the starting town is fun... if you can survive...
Also Ninja, I wouldn't have normally jumped on you like that if it wasn't for the fact that you kinda jumped on it before it even was identified and that erked my "Party First!" side that has formed from years of table tops...
Generally cloaks are enchanted for sneaking, weather resistance, or damage(any) resistance. The number of enchantments possable are only limited to the imagination of the Game Master, or in this case the Maze Master, and the players. So yes, a Feather enchanment is possable though I don't think it would be called feather or be placed on shoes. Its more likly one would find a Pack of lightened load. I however would just prefer to have a Protable Hole.
Holes are items that are basically a weightless infinate space that look like those holes one sees in cartoons. My favorite part about them is that you can set them up as traps, have someone fall in, and roll up the hole. Effectivly trapping them inside(some even sufficate the subject). However the porblem with that is that if you have items in the hole then the traped person has access to all those items(including food and health potions)
Another version is the Bag of Infinate Holding(which is basically the hole in bag form and your only limited by what you can fit into the opening of the bag)

Just a side note. For now, I have no intentions of there being a "Enchanting" process for weapons or armor. The ones that are enchanted are found that way or already in the shops.
At some point later on, I might consider implementing it, but not at the moment.

Well technically you already have a quiver of infinite arrows so all's well that ends well...speaking of which I really wished there was one of those in Oblivion, I mean C'mon I know a lot of people didn't go for the "Ranger Build" but if you wanted to be really devious with the bow you could enchant it to basically be a portable Firebomb or Elemental Storm of Doom :3
And also technically we already have a Portable Hole, or at least, we haven't yet come into a situation where we found so much loot we needed to strain ourselves carrying it out.

Hmmmmm, question. If my thief dies at level....oh, I don't know. 12. And I wanted to make another character. Would I be on the waiting list? would the character be able to be at level 12 from my previous dedication? Or.... What?

I hadn't really thought about that. But I suppose not. Just because of a character death shouldn't warrant them having to be removed from the RP to a later date. So I suppose as long as the player is dedicated in posting, then if the character dies and no resurrection is possible, then the player shouldn't be suspended.

would it be possible to make a diplomacy based check to persuade the closest people to stop fighting? Or are they so hostile that it wouldnt matter?

That answered my first question but.... Would my new character start at 8 or could he start where my other character left off in leveling up? You can't say that out of the whole world of Atur, we're the only level 9 and 10 traveling caravan there is.... well, you can because you're god and owner of this Rp but... Simply put,
If my thief died at level 11, could I get a level 11 Cleric Dwarf ?

Kai Karasurei would it be possible to make a diplomacy based check to persuade the closest people to stop fighting? Or are they so hostile that it wouldnt matter? Sadly, no. I am using the system: Unless they were close friends to begin with, then there is no "yield". Ninja Zackeus That answered my first question but.... Would my new character start at 8 or could he start where my other character left off in leveling up? You can't say that out of the whole world of Atur, we're the only level 9 and 10 traveling caravan there is.... well, you can because you're god and owner of this Rp but... Simply put, If my thief died at level 11, could I get a level 11 Cleric Dwarf ? I would have to say that there would have to be an XP penalty. Meaning a level 14 who died with no possible resurrection could be restarted or a new character belonging to the same player could begin at Level 12, instead of 8.
