Somni ignored his initial thought, and took flight again, this time to scout the forest area. The rain beat down heavily on his wings making the task unbearably hard. Just as he thought of turning back, the sight of two human-like figure caught his eye. Marie? He landed by a shimmering lakeside and folded his black wings. She fumbled around in the mucky earth with a sword; and not four feet from her....A fallen vampire? The mangled corpse of a Lycan bleed out directly by. "Marie!" Somni yelled and ran to embrace the small girl, pulling her away from the scene. "That vampire is not dead. And by the looks of it, he saved you from werewolf. I told you not to leave!" he held her sopping wet frame tightly.
Adelle crouched low to the ground. "I see her." She whispered. "But who will take her down?"
Caine held her petite hand in his own. "I know dear, I know. It worries me these days, as prestigious as our clan once was, look at how the solitary Nosferatu regard us these days. As nothing." he lifted melancholy eyes towards the storm clouds, looking out at some unknown nostalgia far off. "At any rate, can you sense Cooro?"

Marie ignored Somni for a few moments, then said, "I met the nicest frog, and apparently, the nicest vampire. Where's Miles?"
"AAGH!" Miles yelled at the night sky. "This is eighth time we've passed that gas station. Somni? Somni?! We're lost!"

"I think that there isss a nice place not far from here... with very few werewolvessss. Luciusss told me about it." He said with a grin, showing his scimitar fangs. "Follow me, there is a fire esscape we can climb down." He said as he slithered over and gestured to the metal stairs.

Cooro grinned, "I will leave that to you Adelle, you can have her."
"Cooro." The female said closing her amber eyes. Her mind searched for Cooro. She thought she felt his presence. "Yes," she said slowly. Echo opened her eyes, "It is faint, but I can take you there. There are three places really where his scent is strongest. Which should we start?" she asked pointing in three directions.
Mara laughed, she jumped from the landing and his the ground with hardly a noise. She rose to her feet and looked up at Zack, "Are you coming?" she asked. "I am curious about this place."

Zack slithered down the fire escape with surprising speed and joined Mara. "Follow me Mara." He said as he started to slither off through a few buildings leading her to his secret hiding spot.

Mara laughed watching him come down, he was rather amazing how quick he was. She began to follow him. "You could give a vampire a run for her money with your speed as a snake." she joked following along with him.

Zack gave a hissing laugh. "Yesss... I suppose that I do in thisss form." He said. "But I am alssso quite fasst in my Coyote form." Zack moved on until he came across a section of forest where no really stepped into, and it watoo close to the city for it to be of any interest for a werewolf, too far from the city for a vampire to want it wither. Zack stopped and grinned. "Here.... lotsss of animals here!" He said to her brightly.

"Fantastic!" Mara said happily. She could already smell the filled forests. She inhaled deeply. "Wait, this place seemed somewhat familiar." she said looking around. "Maybe not from this angle, but I know the area." She took a couple quick steps forward and sniffed at the air.

Zack raised a curious eyebrow. "You do?" He asked. "Interesssting." Zack's tongue flickered out, tasting the air for the animals nearby. His snake-like stomach grumbled very loudly and he patted it. "The animals here tassste good." He said softly.

Mara nodded, "Shall we be off?" She knew she needed to drink before they found something else that would start problems. She hoped that they would get separated, again she hated being around others while feeding.

"Yess... we both need to feed." Zack said. "We sssshall split up for a bit and find some prey for each of usss alone. I know you like to be alone when you hunt.... I feel the sssame way." Zack said. "Do you know a meeting ssspot?" He asked. "Or ssshall one of usss send a signal?"
Arzachel smiled and let Eve along a path that would eventually lead to his secret spot in the forest. "Come... we shall make haste to my hidden refuge. It is not wise to dawdle long in the forest." He said.

"We could meet back here." Mara offered looking out at the forest. She was checking the different scents trying to find something that would satisfy her for some time. She thought she had a scent picked out. "Thank you also for remembering that I like to hunt alone."

Zack nodded and grinned. "Back here it isss then!" Zack said. "I will sssee you sssoon! Happy hunting!" Zack said with an affectionate wave to her, and even sneaking a lightning quick peck on the cheek, before disappearing into the woods, looking for something to fill his belly.

Mara waved to him, her fingers wiggling playfully. When he was gone she sped off through the forest following the scent of the animal she had her. She was quickly on his trail, her hunger driving her forward.

Eve followed willingly. So he would go far enough to show me the likes of his private residence...She grinned at the idea and increased pace. "We are close then?"
Caine pulled down his top hat to shake off the water droplets. He placed it back and glanced around the streets. "I would say we start at the left. Now, lead the way my dear sister." He bowed and motioned forward.
Adelle's fingers gripped at the air as she tensed for the attack. Just a simple deer. This will be nothing compared to mortal pray. Adelle sprung forward with a pace beyond human, quickly pinning the doe on the ground. Her preternatural eyes flashed with hunger as she pierced the animals neck, warm blood coursing down it's fur.
Somni raised an eyebrow. "Strange girl." He rose to his feet, careful to avoid the disgusting Lycan corpse. "Do you know this one?" Somni nudged the unconscious vampire with his foot. "Looks like he feeds off Lycan blood. Odd considering..." A telltale smear off blood fell across the strangers lips. Somni knelt down to examine closer. "Yepp. It's definitely wolf blood."
