It hurt. A lot. Not as much as getting slammed into a wall by that RHINO thing, but more than getting hit with one of Octavious' arms. Maybe he ought to come up with some sort of scale... He shook his fuzzy head sharply, and then pushed himself off of the ground with his hands, bringing both of his feet up to connect with Dracula's chest. What was he thinking? A scale for pain? Wow. Without waiting to see if the blow had done any damage-- he already sort of knew that it hadn't-- he pushed off of the man and up onto the nearest wall, where he tried to get some air back into his lungs. Ow.

"I remember how much being winded used to hurt." Dracula commented as he zipped forward and grabbed again for Spider-man's leg. "Unfourtunately for you, its only a distant memory."

Spider-man spun out of the way. "Yeah, well," he coughed, "So is sunlight. Tradeoffs, huh? No summer pool parties for poor Vlad..." This clearly wasn't working; he had to think of something else... Wait...

Shocker was preparing to hit the ground since his suit could absorb a good portion of the damage, but out of all things, webs came to stop his fall. The alternate twerp Spiderman saved him. If it was his older counterpart, Shocker would have shrugged it off, but he felt like now he owed the kid and from what he was hearing between the two, it was obvious that Spiderman was fighting a new kind of Bat Man. There was one problem though: Shocker did have a freak will like Spiderman, so he was vulnerable to Dracula's mind control. Shocker guessed it was the eyes seeing into his that gave him the ability to do that, but Shocker couldn’t fight blind. As much as he would hate to say it, Shocker needed to use his knowledge of Vibro weaponry to instead make something other than a destructive gauntlet that made things crumble, like an audio visionary sensor. That would cost money, but maybe work better in the long run if Shocker made it. That didn't matter; he just needed to keep his eyes closed when Dracula tried that hypnosis thing. Shocker turned around and used the webbings to sway back and forth, eventually running up the wall and firing one concentrated Vibro shot at Dracula before descending back down like a bungee cord.

Chaos and Kenji heard fighting from a short distance away and only smirked. "We'll go check it out." Chaos said as Hybrid's symbiote covered him once again, he ran to the nearest wall and crawled up it. Once on the roof he allowed his spikes to shoot out his back and laughed as he shot off towards the fight; after a couple of leaps he was one building away from the fight and saw a smaller Spider man. Spider man had helped him earlier when he was New York, he had earned his trust. He leapt from the roof towards Dracula and began to shoot a bunch of symbiote spikes at him from midair before landing.
Kenji watched as Chaos left and soon stood up, taking his spear out with the daggers still in their holders. "Spider man might be over there, better come along Pixie." he said as he dashed full speed towards the building Chaos left to. He ran up the building and did a front flip, putting the daggers on the pole to make it a spear again and landing across from Dracula "Hello." he said with a smirk.

 Reaper glanced back at Greed a moment, then looked back as both the boy and Kenji took off. He didn't really care that they didn't stay. They weren't of much use to him either way. Another breeze blew, a bit stronger this time, and he turned his attention back towards the alley. What was that?

Pixie looked at Reaper smiling, she wanted to fight... Or at least pretend to. "Maybe it's better if we leave this general area. Just in case." She tried to make it sound like she was looking out for his well being. But she really wasn't. Without waiting for a response from Reaper Pixie kicked an old plank of wood off the bench and put it untder her feet. She then preceded to telepathically lift herself in the air towards the fight. "Last one there's a rotten egg!" She giggled.

Dracula whipped his cape in a quick, graceful arc and deflected the symbiote spikes with ease. "Friends of yours?" He asked Spider-man. Then he turned his attention to the dark young man with the spear. "Good evening, may I help you?" Dracula asked politely. These newcomers may make for excellent servants, if they are at all as strong as this Spider-man.

Oh, no. No, no nononono. He knew where this was going, and it was not anywhere good. He had to get Dracula's attention back on him, or he'd be dealing with undead servants and helpless thralls as well. Leaping forward and unleashing a veritable flurry of kicks, punches and slams, he cried, "Vlad, how can you be so callous? Are you tired of me already? I thought we had something special!"

Hmmm... he's really done his homework, this one, trying to keep me from forging any alliances... or feeding. Dracula decided to play along "Now my dear, don't be so melodramatic, I was merely welcoming our new playmates. Forgive me, what were your names again?" As Dracula spoke, he eluded most of the blows Spider-man threw at him, but he allowed the last few to slip through his guard, he even sliced his inner lip with his fang to give him the illusion that he had incurred some damage. That's it Spider, grow confident, your doing wonderfully...

This was a little too easy... Was he bleeding? Okay, definitely too easy. Fine, you think I'm getting overconfident? I'll roll with it. "No new playmates. Finish what's on your plate before you have desert," he said patronizingly, increasing the speed of his attacks. Dracula was measurably stronger than he was, but Peter thought he might have a slight advantage when it came to speed... Or maybe the vampire was still toying with him. Not that he expected to do any damage; that wasn't the point. The point was getting close enough...

Dracula raised his arms and blocked more of the onslaught of blows, this time he emphasized blocking as hard as he could to cause Spider-man some pain, he wanted him mad.

The blocks were jarring, and Spider-man gritted his teeth. This was really, really difficult. Normally, if an opponent was stronger than he was, he was much faster, or smarter, or something. This... creature, though.... Considerably stronger, about as fast, and probably much smarter as well. So what was his weakness? Overconfidence? Since that was what Peter was betting on, he certainly hoped so. So... what was he trying to do? Hurt him, obviously; the vampire was going out of his way to make the blocks painful. Frustrate him? Probably. And it was working. "Come on, Vlad," he said, allowing that frustration to show through in the tight undertone to his cheerful words, "I'm falling asleep here. Can't you turn into a bat, or something? I'm fighting the king of the vampires; this should be geek heaven. When my friends ask who I creamed this week, I want to be able to mention you without feeling like sighing and shaking my head."

"What's that you said?" Dracula asked, laughter in his voice. "Shake your head?" Dracula flipped over Spider-man's guard and Grabbed onto his head with both hands. "If you insist." And with that, Dracula completed his flip and drove Spider-man straight towards the ground.

(FYI, Dracula is considerably faster, but if you make allowances for Spider-man's spidersense, then it evens out)
