Luna grinned as she realized the adventure was FINALLY beginning. Looking ahead at the distant view of the Rinaul mountains, the trainer decided their pace needed to be a LOT faster if they were somehow going to reach the mines on time. The tauros were walking as slow as a slugma!
"Prince, TAILWIND!"
"Geooooo!"
The pidgeot's eyes glowed with power, causing a strong wind to come from behind him. He started to fly much faster and the Tauros immediately stepped up their pace, compelled by Astrel's follow-me attack.
"So~How have you been?" Luna asked the other trainer, grinning as the wind caused her straw hat to trail behind her barely hanging on due to a string attached to it that went around Luna's neck.

Squeezing Ivrea's chubby cheeks, fluo started to explain. "This fluffy darling here is a Shaymin according to my pokedex. The circumstances surrounding my acquisition of her are a bit longwinded. Let's just say I saved her from falling into Team Rocket's dirty hands" for emphasis fluo shook a fist in the air. She had nothing against Team Rocket but if she were on THAT side she would organize it better, have more class (and set up a better insurance plan) and be more efficient. One day...
Noticing that the wagon was mostly full of other trainers who thought she was off her rockers, she lowered her hand and continued.
"Alphaville is a dark type pokemon, a Darkrai. I encountered him while spelunking for rare pokemons. He's quite a find." Glancing over she noticed the chilly front coming from Alphaville.
Turning to Lisa she asked, "Tell me about yourself." fluo was hoping to become more familiar with her wagon mates.

"I can't believe you said that..." Liam replied, his grin broadening when he noticed Ridley had returned it. He was about to say more when Kayla returned to the conversation. Looking over at her politely, he shook his head, shooting Ridley a smirk.
"Ridley's saying cheesy things again."

Lock leaned back on his seat, he gave a mild wave towards Lizduck when he saw her before he watched Faraon jump out of the wagon and go along side it. "...."
Adele shifted uncomfortable in his seat and sighed. The other man gave him a funny look and whispered in his ear. "Would you like to kill you now? Would it stop your whinning?"
Adele shivered. "No thanks, I'll stop whinning, i suppose."
Lock smiled. "As you wish."

"Hm, me?" She thought of a way to put it into words. "Well, things like this are pretty much the reason I came to Zatao. Travel, and gathering more experiences with pokemon. As you can see, I have no pokemon yet, as well... so like you, I'm looking forwards to catching one."
"So, Anakin is it?" Lamen greeted Nyght's pokemon as well. "Today has pleasant company, doesn't it?"

 She heard a faint voice in the sea of roars coming from that girl who was apparently called Meeka. Her eye finally opening she looked up at the trainer and after giving her a once over she deemed her fit to sit near her. "Sure, knock yourself out," she scooted over a bit, pushing Isamu over more to make room.
The old male huffed as he was interupted once more, deciding to lay down instead.

Seeing the other trainer's concern, Renekai said easily, "Oh, she does attack me every now and then (actually, all the time) but she doesn't mean it. She never actually hurts me... But she's had an attitude problem ever since I caught her... But I'm sure she likes me, despite her hard, cold shell. Isn't that right, Bell?" Renekai grabbed Bell from behind and snuggled her. You'd think Renekai would learn, but the next thing that happened was Renekai dodging Ice Beams that threatened to freeze everything in the wagon.
"Stop, Bell, stop!" Renekai called. Bell did stop, but she gave Renekai a nasty look before watching the road again. "... I guess Bell just likes to be left alone," Renekai said, still smiling.

 The faster notion of the wagon had caused Meeka to jump. Ebba sighed. Really now. They needed some peace the quiet. "Oh looky!" she said. "We are going fassttteerrrr!" Ebba huffed as he kicked her. Meeka held in the yelp of pain. She got the hint.

Ridley nearly fell over when the Tauros started moving faster, jerking the wagon. He glanced up at Prince, where two trainers and a Sentret sat astride, and then back at Liam, smiling at Kayla cheerfully. The smile faded and he gave Liam a look.
"It wasn't THAT cheesy. And we were just talking about how exciting this is."

 "Hehe, me too-Hey man, your Pokemon is headed for mi-AHH!" Sunnie shrieked as she saw her friend's Pokemon smack hers across the face. "Oooo! Vitesse, what did you do?!"
"Oof!" Vitesse said as the ho-oh made direct contact with his face. "Oooh, I oughta, why I oughta-" He was about to jump onto Paix to teach him a lesson, but Glace jumped on his back and knocked him down.
"Heyhey, stop it man! No fighting! We haven't even gone anywhere and you're already fighting!!" Glace screamed as he wrestled the ponyta to the ground.
Sunnie watched in horror as the two Pokemon began rolling about the floor of the wagon. "Stop it! Stop it you two!! You're going to hurt someone or knock it down! STOP IIIIT!!" she screamed as she turned red from the embarrassment of not being able to handle her Pokemon. So much for staying out of sight...

Nyght smiled as Lamen greeted Anakin. "Yup, this is Anakin, he's not mine though, a girl I know lent him to me since she couldn't come and she wanted him to get to experience the fun, and I don't have any pokemon of my own to bring, so it was a win-win! And hopefully with his help I can get my first pokemon!"
Anakin burbled at the attention Lamen was giving him, "Skit skit!" He reached his little nose towards Lamen, both trying to sniff her and wanting a pet. His mood had definitely improved!
"Yes, I think this will be a fun trip, so many nice people and pokemon!"
Nyght's words seemed a little out of place as ice beams froze one side of the wagon's wall by the delibird, but her owner was still smiling, so Nyght smiled weakly as well, not really sure how to react.

Oh, they were moving now! Alastair poked his head out of the wagon to make sure that Con was keeping up. Once he was certain that the white houndoom would do fine---the tauros were walking pretty slowly, after all---he sat back once more, content that all was right with the world. Well, almost right… “You know, I never expected this many trainers to go along on a simple fossil excavation,” he said idly. Or that the scientists would actually allow it. They clearly expected to come across some pretty heavy-duty pokémon. Hopefully some of the others were fighters or something.
When one of the girls took out what appeared to be a pad of paper, Alastair couldn’t help but peek over at it, because he was a nosy b*****d. Oh. Just a magazine. Well, that wasn’t too interesting. Aww! Nyght had a skitty! Now those were adorable little buggers…
And the delibird was attacking her owner. Well, that was a little weird… but, not entirely uncommon. Alastair smirked a little, feeling somewhat familiar with that. “Just count yourself lucky that Bell doesn’t have any teeth. When Con bites, he bites down hard…” he was cut off by a sudden ice beam and he flattened himself against the wall to avoid it. “… maybe you just shouldn’t hug her from behind any more?” he suggested weakly. “Some of us would prefer to make it out of this trip with all parts of our anatomy attached to our bodies.”

Liam grinned, his smirk becoming more mischevious.
"Don't let him fool you, he was talking about how lovely your eyes looked as they glittered in the sunlight, and how your hair looked spun from the prettiest rose gold."
So he was a tease.
