(Our characters can just drag him along. Oh, by the way, due to some personal difficulties, I am unable to go on gaia as often as I would like to, so replies from me may take a while.)

Lin smiled, it seemed her friends were already planning who would take watches, and when.
"I don't mind when I take a watch, just wake me up any time you need me."

(Writers block, sorry. xP)

A black portal of thick putrid smoke arose from a small clearing next to a well known Elvin village. Sorrow stepped through in her new, but old in appearance, armor. She stepped slowly towards the village gates. The sounds of her shoes making little noise as she stealthily approached the gates.

Three archers stood at the post on top the village walls. One had dozed off while the other two were keeping a look out for any possible signs of an attack. The two awake guards noticed a woman in peculiar clothing walking towards the gates.

“You there what is your business?” Spoke one of the Elves. The other awake guard nudged the sleeping one who snorted and quickly woke up.

“Huh, did I miss something?” Spoke the now half awake guard.

But Sorrow was in no mood for games as she darted up the stone wall, using the enhanced speed she had been temporarily gifted with. The guards began to panic, not seeing someone move so fast before.

“She’s a witch!”

As soon as the guard spoke Sorrow had flipped off the edge of wall drawing forth her katana and slicing through the guards arm. As the blood began to gush everywhere, splattering on her face and suit, she turned sideways and sliced off his head. His screamed muffled with blood. She turned to the sleeping one who had aimed his bow at her, but she easily dodged it and lunged forwards at him, stabbing him through the torso.

“Oh god!”

The two guards collapsed as the third was hit with the half awake guard’s arrow. Sorrow quickly flipped down landing on both feet rushing over to a small building. She dived forwards rolling through a window landing on both feet, her body cut from the glass. At this point there was no telling where the blood from the guards and the blood from the glass met and ended.

The strange gray jumpsuit she was wearing seemed to be feeding off the blood, causing her to go into a sort of berserk kill frenzy. She darted next to the door and put her ear to it. The sound of more guards marching through the street, coming closer every second, became apparent.

She dashed through the door and stood completely surrounded. Knights on every side armed in thick armor and mages pushing the front. The mages did not speak but their hands began to glow a bright red as five of them casted a powerful fire spell from all angles at her. Their wicked flames seemed to bounce right off her and came back at them, igniting them ablaze. The knights rushed in slicing swords at all angles and archers on the roofs firing arrows down magical imbued arrows at her.

The arrows bounced off her and went straight back at the archers, the elves falling like dominos off the roofs. The knight’s blades missing every time as her movements were like an eloquent dance. She used her new knowledge of hand to hand combat to spin the guards hands back at them causing their blades to pierce through their weak points in the armor stabbing themselves. All of the village guards were dead or had ran away in fear of this strange woman. The unlucky ones that tried to run too late were pierced through the stomach with holy arrows. Sorrows black wings fully extended after sprouting from her back. The animals and birds in the area scattered away as only the screams of the dyeing elves could be heard that night.

Usrah awoke from his meditation in a cold sweat. A vast number of innocent people had just been killed and he could feel it. His breathing was heavy as he rubbed his temples with his thumb and middle finger. The vile feeling hung thick around him like heat off of a fire. He looked up at a nearby tree and saw Elgarez perched upon the top. His facial expression was clear, even in the moonlight. He appeared to have been crying. Usrah had only seen him cry once before after the Day the Earth Screamed and he knew that Elgarez had felt the same feeling this night. Usrah flew up and hovered at Elgarez's side.

"Truly, this is the doing of Vethinger's henchmen."

-----

Elgarez did not look at Usrah as he spoke. He kept staring ahead and off into the distance, a few tears running down his cheeks.

"The elves. They... killed the elves. Many of the elders were... my friends. I... never got a chance to see them... again."

He tightened his hands into fists, the grip strong enough to cause his palms to bleed. He turned to his head quickly to face Usrah, his eyes stern and furious.

"This world still needs us. These people still need us. It's up to you and I to protect this group."

Elgarez stood up suddenly and roared. A fiery golden aura erupted about his body and his eyes went completely white.

"THOSE BASTARDS WILL DIE!!!"

((i guess it's still night, but maybe a week later. I'll change my post if need be.))

Ashe opened one eye and looked over at Ursah and Elgarez. "What was that all about?" she grumbled. She lifted her head and stretched her wings, she had opted to sleep in her true form all week, hoping that seeing a dragon would scare away any who would wish them harm. "If there is no enemies nearby don't wake the whole forest up." It was then that she saw that Elgerez was bathed in a golden aura. "What now?"

((Who knows? I just felt like posting.))

Elgarez snapped his head to face Ashe. His eyes burned and were pure white in color. His facial expression was one of unspeakable anger, one which only a werewolf could muster. He spoke with two different voices; one was his normal, but the other was that was a feral beast.

"Vethinger's men have slain a massive number of elves this night. The only place that houses so many elves is their capital. They were my friends. I know have another reason to kill Vethinger and I can promise you it will not being quick."

The aura surrounding his body disappeared and his eyes returned to their original color. He fell back and sat upon the tree once more. He was completely silent.

[I'll just post as if we were a week ahead, perhaps a small woodland area on the mountain?]
----
"I agree with Ashe." Flint said sleepily, opening one eye. "If you're trying to get us awake, good job, otherwise, pipe down, please?" he said, slightly annoyed.
Falling back asleep, Flint was anxious for the next day. He knew the hut was fairly close, and if they started early enough, he would be finished in time to meet them at the base of the mountain.
He drifted into a deep sleep, his mind replaying all the events of the last few days.

Tyr was awake, and had been for a little while, but she lay completely still curled on her side around Ferghall, just staring blankly at nothing. So that demon had killed a bunch of elves in the night? There wasn't anything she could have done, but Tyr felt really guilty for some reason, and she couldn't force herself back to sleep. She let out a long sigh and closed her eyes anyway, hoping she could sleep.

Silently Ferghall rose as he did every morning and removed himself from the center of the ball Tyr had curled into. Tame or not, he was still a wild fox and he enjoyied hunting on his own. Though she was awake he didn't say anything to her, he only slunk of of the camp and off on his own.

Luniya woke up from all the commotion. She was very comfortable sleeping outside the tent curled up in her own warmth. She had made a little bed grass and leaves to sleep on. She was still groggy but managed to grasp what all the ruckus was about. She sat up and raised one of her knees to live on. Elgarez was absolutely furious. Luniya would have tried to console him but she was scared.

She slowly stood up. Death was not something she liked hearing about. Especially when it was a huge amount of people. Her eyes became sharp and determined. She looked back at the group while gently touching a tree, realizing how precious everything was. "I'll catch up with you guys in the morning," she said with a sad voice and slowly walked away with her head down. Death is the worst thing that could possibly happen. Vethinger takes lives with feeling no remorse. Who is he to choose who deserves to live or die

((Wow I really have been wanting to post too. But had no idea what to say. Kudos to to demidom for ridding the dreaded writers block))

((I guess we'll just say it did))

Ashe sighed and shook her head. "Ok, ok. Just don't take it out on me." She had never seen the werewolf so upset, and it made her uncomfitable. Note to self: Do not make the werewolf mad... She lowered her head back down, shifted one of her wings, and tried, without success, to fall back asleep. She layied there for awhile before a light sleep fell over her again.
