I usually sit by my best friend and we just talk to each other or with the people around us. There were these guys who used to sing or play music, so we would listen to that too if we could hear it. We are pretty boring, really. Haha. But some of the things that happen while on the bus will forever be a great memory for us.

Our favorite songs include "Nakey Time" and, the classing, "Skankband." Oh, and once, a trombone player tried to do a riverdance or something like that to one of that year's songs, Fanfare for the Third Planet. XP
We played fanfare toooo... good times We... spread STD's -_- no joke and watch drummers fall asleep on each other, a ha ha

Well, my band needs like four or five charter buses when we go to BOAs and stuff like that to get everyone there. But whatever bus I'm on we always tend to sing our show music. Its so much fun. And those are the times when you realize why everyone in band is in band and not chorus. Besides the fact that band is just straight up amazing

My band doesn't go to competitions. However we have band tour.
This year on band tour, we were on the charter bus for SOOOO long (several hours everyday) that we just mad up some things.
For instance, whenever anyone would hang their arm from the storage thing above the seats someone would yell out "ARMS!" and practically everyone on the bus would do the same. One of the parents ended up taking a picture that was put in the band tour slideshow.
Also there was a mini standing in the aisle contest to see who could keep their balance the longest as we drove around in the mountains and small towns. xd
We would also sing on the bus. Yeah, our band likes to sing sometimes. We're not that bad acctually.
But my favorite thing was what my friend and I would do. There was this kid that we sat behind on the bus the whole time who had one of those cylydrical pillows that feels like it's filled with those bean bag bead things. You know the pillows I'm talking about? Anyways, we would always hide his pillow from him either when he wasn't on the bus or when he wasn't looking. It always took forever for him to realize it was gone until he started catching on to us. The one place that took the longest for him to find it was in the bathroom in the back of the bus. Since no one used it, he never looked there. It was so funny to see him search the bus and accuse his friends and family! 4laugh He's not the brightest out of us trumpets sometimes though. sweatdrop

On the way TO competitions, we always start off by singing Bohemian Rhapsody and on the way back we do 3 things. First we get glowsticks and the Drum Major, Music Captain, and Marching Captains rave (Sam was the greatest), then when the bus actually starts going, we sing our parts from the show, then we sing Bohemian Rhapsody again.
On the CG bus, they play Shabooya the whole time... Really annoying, actually...

It's usually truth or dare. D: When that gets boring, we play hand games... usually ABCD? It's a slapping hand game lol. But when it's at night, we all sleep! :]

We sing to my Ipod songs xd All my best friends are in band...And our band teacher always makes the bus stop at Timmy Hoes (Time Hortons) And then me and my best friend (one of them) each get a large Ice cap chug it and get extremely hyper! Then sing a bunch of hialrious songs biggrin like stuff from the "Team America" Soundtrack...or we sing really popular songs like "Paralyzer" By Finger Eleven...well it was popular..I still love it...tehn we move on to the 80's songs.

hmm. well if its a super early competition((where we have to leave at like 6 am)) normally EVERYONE sleeps on the way there ((specially if its a long drive)) but me and my best friend brandy bring our digital cameras.....lets just say, most of our friends have learned not to give us cameras on the band bus..because we take sooo many stupid, retarded pictures of ourselves...((see below))  yea. im on the left. brandy is on the right.((note the same shirt is a considence...we did not plan it)) rawr and thats me up front..and then heather and jc are behind me..idk what i was doing but yea... just a small taste of what goes on on our band bus...hehehe

You can't have your feet touch the floor when you go over railroad tracks, it's bad luck for the competetion you're going to and for the next one if your coming back. Then on our way back we sit around and either sleep or cheer for random people. Like last year they cheered for me and was like, "Oh My God! Cassie is so awesome! She likes cheese! WHOOOOOO!" *clap* *clap* *clap*

me and my friends have somewat of a rutine for our trips we get on da bus and throw everything into da *crap seat* then we sit down and poke our band director and my mom (who sits by him) till they yell at us and the listen to music and tell stories and crack jokes and coming bavk we press our faces to da window and make faces at da ppl leaving *childish i know but i am one girl in 5 guys who are childish and if u cant beat 'em join 'em*

We play cards and listen to half-charged iPODs. It's very quiet.
Until they chaperones take away teh cards and the iPODs die.
Then we break out into random Disney Song.
