As the beast changed shapes, Link was forced off it's back and fell to the ground, "I don' think I can jump that high, any ideas?" he asked his friend as he met him nearby.

((I see. In the time lapse, Kia has gotten Kohana into the Water Temple [not that I don't want to play them, I just am having writers' block with them]))
Sofia stayed quiet after Arryl's words, and silently shared the Gerudo's worry about Death Mountain. Too many times had she been up this far and narrowly escaped a serious eruption. Then she had a sudden thought.
"How do you plan to deal with the heat as we get higher up?" she asked, sounding almost... cocky.
Sila cursed rather loudly.
"I can't believe it! Where could that stupid sage be?" she asked out loud, frustrated. She had been wandering around the castle, lost, for the past while, and was slowly losing her temper. The longer she stayed, the more chance of being recognized. And she knew the consequences of being recognized...
Flashback Sila drew back quickly into a room of the Hyrule Royal Castle as a guard moved past. Looking down at the small orb in her right hand, she could not help but wonder why it was so important. She had snuck into the castle to simply see if there were any jewels worth stealing, and left the King's royal chambers with this orb. Nothing seemed special about it, it was just a small, purple sphere. But one little quick movement, and a guard had spotted her, and to make matters worse, he had seemed shocked at what she held in her hand. Sila was pretty certain that about half the castle guards had been alerted to search for the teenage theif, and she didn't want to stick around for them to find her... End Flashback
Sila remembered leaving the Gerudo Desert when she was twelve, in search of somewhere better than the desert to live. She had resorted to theivery in Hyrule Town, and now regretted it. She had been caught, and barely escaped, the only price being instant death if she was recognized within the castle at any time. Glancing down a corridor, her eyes widened as she spotted a guard strolling towards her. Glancing around frantically for a place to hide, she settled for a small room to her left. As she entered it, she had to surpress a giggle. She was hiding in the same room she had been in those many years before...
~Lord Gannondorf, I don't want to be here any longer than I need to be!~ she thought, her moment of amusement lost to her fear of being caught.

"Uh... Ruuuuun!" Gus said, as the creature stomped. When it did, a few platforms rose out of the floor, while one had holdings to climb up it...

(sweet ^_^, I have an idea as well)
"Or maybe, we should climb," Link smirked, spotting the holdings on one of the platforms. Parts of the tiled floors were scattered across around the platforms. Silently, Link grabbed one and tossed it to the other side of the room. The beast seemed to hear the noise, and ran towards it, "Quick, while he's not looking."

"Right!" Gustave whispered, and climbed up the holdings... soon, they reached the top, while the giant didn't notice them...

Silently, Link leaped across the platforms to the one nearest to the beast. Once there, he took the master sword off of his back and waited for Gustave to join him.

Gus did the same, and lunged toward the beast's weak spot, plunging the Calamity Sword into it!

The beast seemed to be writhing in pain as the sword sunk into it, "Good job Gus, I told Ma you were useful!"

The beast's attention seemed to turn to the boy whom had just stabbed him, giving Link the chance to once again jump on. He grabbed onto to the feet only a few feet away from where the Calamity sword was currently plunged into the giant's sking. Holding on tight with his right arm to the monster, Link slashed away at it with his Master Sword.

The beast howled, and soon, it toppled over, hitting the ground, and bursting into a cloud of black and souls, still swarming... as it did, the platforms lowered... Gustave got up, and said, "Huh...? It's... not over yet...?"

Link fell to the ground as well, the calamity sword falling right in front of him. As the darkness began to swirl, the sword lifted up into the air and flew into what appeared to be a hand. Out of the darkness came a very familiar looking man.

"Is... that... me...?" Gustave said, looking at the man.He let out a wicked laugh... "Yes... and no..." The man said, "I am Eldrin Von Gustave, the first to wield this sword..." He said, holding out the Calamity Sword, "And, if I am really out of that cursed sword... You are my... reincarnation..." He then turned to Link, and said, "I... will be free once more... and... this time... no one will stop me." Eldrin lowered into a battle stance simular to Gustave's, and charged toward Link!
