Joe nodded. "Best not to keep him waiting then."
He began to jog briskly towards the mansion, leading them back home.

Laughing softly, Aurelie smiled at their backs. She straightened her arms then took off after them at a jog, seeing the mansion before them.
, Apolline asked in muted tones. Aparently tired, or more likely bored, she was quiet. Aurelie shrugged, replying < I have no idea.. I guess we shall see when we get there...>

The second they reentered the grounds of the mansion, Erik disappeared from sight and the zombies collapsed. Takeshi glanced back, concerned for a moment, then shook his head and continued forward. Samuel and Ted heard voices commanding, Samuel recognized it as Legion's, while Ted knew simply whose it was not.

The rest were told to stay in the entryway.

((So, does that mean Erik has kicked it, or he's just out for the time being?))

Siber grew tired of the awkward silence. "So, Alan, up to what are we now? A bunch of Warlocks you're trying to conquistador-inate just got away, I know that much, but what's the plan?"

Samuel stood up and stretched, walking down to the entryway, expecting that some friends were returning and Legion wished to brief them at the door again. 'Twould make a good tradition. He rubbed his eyes and walked into the entryway, coming to a halt and looking about a little dreary-eyed.

"There might be a small chance I know where he is..." Siber murmured rolling his eyes. For the others' benefit, he mused aloud. "Though the chances he's cut me off from his hiding place are larger than most full-grown galaxies, I could at least sniff around with Linda. No way am I going alone if I do go, though."





Siber mentally groaned, but knew the suggestion was valid. With a strain like doing half a sit-up and holding it, he summoned the dæmon and steeled his mind against the reflexive moans of stress this seemed it would always cause.

"Most of those Legion ensured would make it had a specific thing Legion valued, and most of the others were simply powerful enough to do it themselves - often, even without human sacrifices," Josh informed Paul. "One example is Takeshi and, we assume, Haru - he's an empath, meaning he can almost immediately learn any magical technique he is within a certain range of, so long as it's not outside of his disciplines. Luckily, he can't use Shadow, so Alan can still operate near him. Arturo got carried to Linda for his Thaumaturgic skill. Siber and Keldan have insane power as far as demon summoning and, it would seem, is pretty good at nonlinear thinking. Anyway, we're at the garage.

Minutes later they were in a grayish unmarked van, making their way to their newest mouse hole.

Alan laughed.
"We've had the Shadowmen following you back every time. If it were so simple a matter as the actual location we'd know where it was already." Chuckling, he walked away, preparing to meet up with Josh by Shadowstepping.

Legion walked into the hall, every step accompanied by loud, ominous noises that probably had something to do with the metal plate mail he wore. He smiled.

"We're going public. The Shadowmen have found themselves, ah, unable to act, suffice to say. In two hours we're going to attack. What are your preferred targets? The point is to make a show of force and magic that nothing can prevent from being seen. Our main targets would be banks, simply because of the publicity, campuses of schools, namely the two large colleges, or centers of the government."

Roland groaned.
Not neccessarily.
Joe raised his hand. "I'll go with Samuel and Gurul. I think they're gonna need someone to keep them from going overboard. I'm ready to go whenever you need us, Legion." Joe bowed his head slightly and went right back to leaning casually on the door.
