Obsidian lowered herself, hugging Troden from behind and sort of melting into his body. She appeared again in his head but in her trueform. The feature that seemed to fill his head like cashmere were her wings, black and glittering butterfly wings that seemed to go on for ever. Her mind self seemed taller and it wasn't only because of the high pronged crown or the stately dark dress she was wearing.
It was realitively easy to find his mind self, huddled like his physical self and she lowered herself onto her knees and touched his head, Troden.
Jack's Beast still had her back and was waiting, she'd have to be the one ot ultimately break the connection, he was only there to help and support.

"Exactly." Lina said, walking towards him, "You must cut that connection off comepletely. You don't want them to die with you....do you?" she asked, her face impassive as she waited for the answer.

Dorien grinned even more at this and began to do the same thing to his other arm.

Troden slowly looked up, red eyes widening slightly in surprise as he saw her, "Obsidian..." he trailed off as another growl escaped his lips.
Tara looked at the threads and crie dout as she puled, pain hitting her just as she did so, but she didn't stop. Her clawed hands grabbed the threads adn tore them apart, her mind screaming as her anger replaced her fear.
"Troden can die for all I care but Tara..." Tien said, falling to the floor, "She is still my sister..." Strange to hear a Sulla say something like that, it actually sounded like he cared about her. And only in brotherly since...

Obsidian smiled down at her, it was softer than her usual wide grin and she tilted her head, Want a little help? She asked nad looked up and touched the cord that appeared above his head. It unraveled and nearly broke except for a few threads, Can you handle breaking that? She asked, indication the nearly broken cord above him.
Jack only waited, she was almost there, moving in the right direction as far as her emotions were concerned.

Troden looked at it for a moment before reaching towards it cutting it down with a few painful swipes.
Tara continued to pull them out until there was nothing eft. The screams had stopped and th echaos in her mind had suddenly stopped as well.

Obsidian smiled, Good, but you're not done yet. Build a wall to protect from another connection forming, hurry. She urged moving away from and standing up.
Jack withdrew slowly, back into his own head. As he became furry. Since his fur form was bigger than his human form, he busted ot of his clothes so he was sitting in simple nude fur, still slumped against the bed, trying to collect himself. His form which was pretty much a humanoid tiger certainly a grand sight. HIs black stripes were completely black but seemed to be mixed with dark red, and some of his stripes interrupting the orange were completely dark red, giving him an odd look. His were golden and were fixed on Tara's now still form. His ears, which were normal, with the white spot on the back, wiggled as she sat still.

"Then you know what to do..." Lina said finally, holding the two threads in her hands, "End this madness."

((He should have felt the disconnecting from their end too, remember! Maybe the threads Lina are holding aren't as vibrant as they used to be or something))
Magnolia, who was oblivious to this madness was preparing for what she believed would be Dorien taking her up on her invitation to use her as his vessel. Conciously she didn't fully understand what that meant but she prepared herself anyway. She did something very similar to what Merlin did when her connection to Vincent was established--of course she didn't know this.
She created first a door, labelling it Dorien in fancy, and lovingly curling letters then created the room on the other side. As soon as she knew it was ready she opened the door and stepped into the bar room on the other side. It was light in teh room though there were non windows. The room was completey featureless, not very big, maybe the average size of a child's bedroom. She smiled when she saw it though, as soon as Dorien gave her what he wanted to give her, she had a feelign the room would look splendid. She closed the door off for now and slipped back into rejuvenating slumber.

[Makes sense....]
Tien looked at the strands as if they were far away and watched as the colors faded. At first, he thought it was his eyes sight, but then he felt how loose the cords were. Once they were taut in Lina's hand and now they were limp... A small smile appeared on his face as he took the remaining cords and broke them to peices.
Troden nodded and did waht she said almost obediantly. He was too tired to argue either way. An invisible wall could fet as Troden closed his eyes and locked his mind.
Tara immediately placed a wall around her mind as she returned to reality, her breathing heavy as she felt limp on the bed. Hazel eyes looked onto those golden orbs and a clawed hand slowly opened as she laid on he rstomach, "Thank you Jack...for everything."

His voice was a growling baritone when he chuckled and said, "Thank Merlin as well, she helped me get in that pretty head of yours in teh first place."
Obsidian appeared at Troden's back agains before he'd locked down his mind, her arms still wrapped around his waist, her head resting on his back. She sighed, "Try and rebuild yourself, Troden, then you can come out and play again." She murmered softly.

Lina watched him for a moment before disappearing, her image returning to her body. Dark brown eyes slowly opened as the Lotus Leader straightened, her hair falling bakc into place as she said, "Tien cut the connection off permanently. But I don't think he will last much of his torture...Merlin, he still has some kinfness inside of him. Do you believe he should die?"

Dorien watched as a smile appeared on Tien's face and raised an eyebrow slightly. He didn't have to be very smart to know when a being had given up his will to live. That smile was a peaceful one...and far off in the other's mind. But Dorien wasn't through with him yet.

Merlin was back to leaning on her peaked fingers, "My personal opinion is no. I have been fond of Tien for a long time, I was quite irritated with him for losing control like this and I never did like his treatment of Tara but all of that has changed now...."

Lina closed her eyes slightly, "I felt his kindness to Tara. He doesn't want her dead, but Troden...I think that will always be that way. It makes me wonder though...why did he set Troden free as well?"

Tara smiled slightly, her sharpened teeth showing as she said, "I'll do that, but..." her eyes glistened in amusement and surprise, "You came to me naked?"
Troden closed his eyes. He was tired...so tired. The madness in his eyes had all but disappeared and the old Troden had returned. He was serious, and determined as always, but his mind was once again his own. He felt Obsidian slightly and grinned as she spoke, but he knew he didn't have to say anything. She knew how he felt.
Tien didn't get up as his mind melded with body once again, the smile still on his face, "Is that all you can do Dorien?" I've been through worse.."

Merlin smiled, "We'll have to ask him." Osyrus was still there so she was able to use him as an achor. She grabbed the iron cuff and disappeared, reapparing in between Dorien and Tien. She nodded respectfully to Dorien, You truly are an artist of pain, Dorien. She complemented, giving Tien a sideways look that contained silent instructions for him to shut up.
Jack chuckled again, "I do wish that were the case, because then I'd make you a very happy woman. I actually am not supposed to transform without taking my clothes off. My jeans, shirt, and favorite blazer are ruined." He held up a scrap of material that used to be the sleeve of his blazer.
Obsidian lifted up from him standing and looking up at the night sky, "I knew I'd be entertained if I stopped here." She said.
