The whole fiasco was awfully strange to Ben. He could tell that Ash was being himself but the way Hikaru and Akito were reacting concerned him slightly. They seemed to be watching him too intently and Akito looked much more uncomfortable than he had even been when Ben was talking to him sternly earlier. It was almost humorous in a naive sort of way but he said nothing to Akito. Instead, he focuses his attention to Hikaru.
Well..it's like I said...I love her more than anything in this world...I'd give my life for her if I had to...someday my family will want to meet her...but I won't do that until she's ready...I...
He looks at both Hikaru and Akito with a slight apprehension in his eyes.
I hope that won't bother you guys....

*Keira grinned and then eyed Ash. She examined his muscles agan and his pec coaught her eye. She reached for it and poked it laughing a bit. Se then smelled the air and taking in the scent*
Mmm well...you might be an ok canidate Ash. You even smell good! What is it that you are wearing? It reminds me of something...

*Akito barely heard Hikaru's joking question. He looked at him a moment and shrugged.*
Is that...normal?
*He looked at Keira again, his eyes seeming confused. He shook his head, maybe she was more like Hikaru than he thought. When she flirted more with Ash he felt himself blushing and he looked away. Why should he care what Keira was doing anyway? He glanced at Ben when he heard his question.*
Doesn't make any difference to me...

*Hikaru nodded, listening to what Ben was saying. He smiled and shrugged. He leaned on Akito a little, wondering what he was thinking. He thought about what Ben was saying. Of course, he wasn't thrilled with Ben and Synge being together, but what could he do?*
Synge loves you, so whatever she wants is fine with me...Your family better be nice to her though. If they are like you...I'm sure they won't be too bad.

It seemed that Ash was considerably more observant than he might lead on as he saw you blush, he touched your cheek through his glove. The touch was hot but much cooler than you might expect.
Nah...I think that there proves you might want to make an exception for me. All I'm saying is don't be afraid to mix cotton candy and popsicles....two sweet things taste really damn good if you mix them together, it doesn't take a genius to figure that s**t out.
As you seem to show you feel like you are hot enough, he looks you over with a discering eye but then laughs playfully.
Yeah...I guess you are hot enough..damn..too bad I ain't sexy enough for you to lower your standards a little...that would be the s**t! I mean... I am making an exception to my "don't know before you ********" policy...maybe you could offer me some of the same options.
When you touch his pec, it feels like a rock and he smiles with a slight wink. You also could clearly see that if you leaned back you would actually be in his arm.
That smell? Hmm...oh, it's called Tidwater Pearl, an old sea faring dude in Booty Bay told me about it...I figured I would try it since you said you used to live with sea-dudes...I refuse to call them seamen.

Ben seems a little saddened when he sees Akito didn't seem to care what happened with Synge but hopefully that was just further proof he didn't intend to hurt her. He decided to focus less on Ash and Keira and more on Hikaru.
When he hears Hikaru's words about accepting Synge's love, it was almost too much for him to take. He actually had to listen more closely. He was sure what he heard this time and smiled quite a bit.
Do my ears deceive me? Was that a compliment? Thanks Hikaru. If she decides she wants to meet my family, they will likely be even easier to take than I am.

*Keira holds her cheeck after Ash touches her. It felt warm to the touch and she smiled and then bursts out lauging at his analogy. She couldn't believe Ash and his words sometimes.*

*Keira notices Ash's arm around her as she touched his pec. She found it a little odd that he was that close to her. Was he trying to make the moves on her...she didn't really know*

*Akito froze up when he heard Hikaru's question, glancing at Keira a moment. Then he pushed away from Hikaru's hold and glared at him. He didn't hear what Ben was saying at this point, he was too concerned with how embarrassed he felt. When he heard Ash speak he looked at him, but quickly looked away.He glanced at Hikaru but found little help there. He stepped a little away from Hikaru, wishing he hadn't embarrassed him like this. When Keira spoke up and looked at her with soft eyes.*
I see...
*He glanced at Ash again.*
Just...he's worse than Hikaru.

No, that's pretty hardcore dude...I wouldn't make exceptions unless you were ******** smoking! In fact, you are my first exception! Not that you seem to thirlled anyway. But I am not trying to be ******** up with exceptions, I am trying to turn the ******** up by making exceptions...see you got me all wrong!
He nodded and seemed to be agreeing with you. He was actually letting a person get to know him this time and that was a bigger deal than Keira may ever understand.
Am I trying to lure you in? I guess the real question is..if I am...is it working?

Ben stifled a yawn and he could tell his energy was going away slowly. In response to Hikaru, he couldn't think of the best way to explain what he meant in words, his face looked blank for a minute.
I..I don't really know...how to explain it...my family is just...less...protective I guess...I am the exception...but I don't mind...
He stands up and stretches.
I might go ahead and take a nap guys...anything you need before I go?

*Hikaru laughed at Akito's reaction to Keira and Ash. It was cute to see Akito like this. He wondered if Akito was feeling a little jealous maybe, after the way Keira had kissed him the other night. He listened to what Ash was saying to Keira for a moment, and wondered why he wasn't just going for it with Keira. He thought of all the things they had done together and he smiled. Keira really was pretty amazing. He shook his head, thinking of Clever with a smile. He was happy with his choice.*
*He brought his attention back to Ben for a moment, noticing that he seemed pretty worn out. Hikaru shrugged.*
