Rabbitpaw
Rabbitpaw's ears flattened slightly, fear showing on his face, but only for a moment. Foxes....how they looked so much like dogs. His heart was racing. These things could kill them all! Not that he would care about most of it...but the herbs might be destroyed in the process! And Hauntedheart would be upset! Rabbitpaw shook his head. It was his first day as Medicine Cat Apprentice, and he was already a disappointment.
Growling slightly, he limped quickly to Hauntedheart's den, his ears burning slightly. His paw ached, but he bit his lip, trying to ignore it. He stopped for a moment, staring curiously as Guardianpaw stared bewilderedly at the leoprd spotted she-cat who had arrived not too long ago. He flicked his ears. That annoyed him. He growled. And either way, why was Shimmer out of the Medicine cat den?! He growled. "Guardianpaw! Stop fawning over she-cats and fight!" he half-yowled-half-squeaked. His eyes rested on Shimmer once more, and he half opened his mouth. "Look, you. You really shouldn't b-" he stopped himself though, his ears flattening. Almost immediately, he felt that pain that he had felt when Shimmer sent him flying before. He snorted. No way he was getting involved with that mess again!
With another shake of the head, Rabbitpaw looked around, trying to see if anyone needed help. He didn't know much about herbs, but he could at least protect the already injured. When no one came in view of him, he entered the den. He stopped, sitting down. He peeked out the den for a moment, a wary eye on the fox next to Guardianpaw.

[Poppy snarled as he picked Rainpaw up by his tail in his jaws. He began to shake him vigorously. At the sound of Sunpaw's voice he dropped the apprentice, lunging for her instead. He snatched her up by the head and tossed her as hard as he possibly could against a hard rock, letting a loud thud ring through the camp. Poppy felt pleased with the sound, that is until Pinepaw latched his claws into his shoulder. Poppy yelped in pain ad surprise as he bucked, trying to get him off.
[Rover was starting to get fed up with Guardianpaw. No matter how hard he thrashed the apprentice would NOT let go! The tod backed up and began to repeatedly slam his back against a hard rock sticking up out of the swamp in an attempt to crush him. In realization that the apprenticed seemed to have some sort of connection to the limp she cat (Silentkit) He would nail him where it hurt the most, her. Rover lunged for Silentkit and snapped his jaws around her limp, back legs and began to toss her about. He was immensity annoyed when a small kitten (Shimmer) began to taught and bounce about in his way. Rover almost tripped over her and snarled as a warning for her to get out of his way as he tossed his victim about.]
[Cherry yipped in sock at Mudnoses, fierce reaction to her words. Was it something she said? Had sh said the wrong words in cat speak. She could hear the Siamese repeat her words with a hissing rage and barked in pain as the cat attacked her mercilessly.] Why is she attacking me like that! I didn't do anything! [Cherry's playful attitude slowly swelled int anger and hurt as she could feel the pain of the warrior's attacks.] "STOP!" [She screamed as she then, snarled viciously and slammed up against a tree hard enough to stun Mudnose. She then stepped on her tail to keep her in place and seized her by the arm, ripping angrily in her flesh, attempt to dislocate her limb.] "All i wanted to do was play, but you are paying too rough! I will NOT leave to this forest you speak of, i will say here and teach you to play nice!"

Noble warrior, determined kit
" Don't bet against me- you're sure to lose! "  [ Shimmer snarled; this fox had picked the wrong kit to mess with. Yowling- more like squeaking- Shimmer darted forward underneath the fox, using her size to her advantage. She darted here and there, nipping on the fox's legs, but always out of reach. She lunged forward and fastened her jaws on his front legs, and yanked backwards, pushing herself up off the ground and placing all her force on the fox's belly, in turn pulling his leg up to his belly. A good sprain, if enough power was put to it. But Shimmer was only a kit, and she wasn't as forceful as a warrior. Letting go of the leg, Shimmer darted to face him. Without words, so much in Leopardstorm's style, she let her eyes say it all. That this fox would not touch these two kits. That if he dared lift a claw, she would tear him apart. Her sharp little claws were already matted with his blood, but there was still a problem. Silentkit was still in his jaws. With a powerful kit-roar [squeak xD], Shimmer pushed herself upward with such force to carry her up to the fox's eye. With one paw she raked one eye with her claws, with the other she ripped open his muzzle with her claws, temporarily blinding him and possibly enabling Silentkit to wiggle out. She backed up, hissing, ready to leap at the fox once again. Glancing to the side at Rabbitpaw, Shimmer blinked. She remembered what she had done to him, but was it possible to do it to this fox, if all three of them worked together? ]

(Don't really want to ruin anything, but cats at around 2-3 months have tiny and undeveloped claws...by tiny I mean it's really difficult to cut through skin XD Just saying.)

[As the kitten ran around his paws Rover ignored the annoying kit. He would kill her once he was done with Silentkit. Until he could suddenly feel himself trip and fall over his own feet and fall face first into the swamp muck. As he fell he let go of Silentkit, having her fall out of his reach.] "What the catdung was that!?!?" [He cried out in utter confusion as Shimmer ran around to face him with a squeak. Had this small kitten done it. No way, impossible. Blaze said you would only have to worry about this kind of stuff from the warriors. Somehow, that pitiful squeak made the foxe's fur stand on end. As he stared at her with wonder the small kitten clawed him in the eye, causing him to roar in pain as he jumped back up to his paws. That was the last straw, takin down by a kitten!? This one would be the FIRST to die, NO MATTER WHAT!] "You asked for this kitten!" [Lunging forward Rover caught Shimmer by the scruff and then repeatedly began to bang her against a rock, unleashing all of his rage and frustration upon her.]

and guardian of all things."_______________________________________________ [Guardianpaw huffed as both Shimmer and Rabbitpaw yelled at him. He fluffed out in annoyance, but before he could think, Silentpaw was snapped into the fox's jaws. Horrified, Guardianpaw screamed and launched himself at the fox's tail, biting down hard, but the fox was preoccupied. Panicking, Guardianpaw realized he was too weak for this. he wa a kitten-this fox could gobble him up in two bites, as well as the other kittens! He felt immense remorse and fury that he was doing a rotten job at protecting Silentkit, but somehow the thought of the fox attacking Shimmer made his heart fall farther. He needed to act fast!
He jumped off of the tail of the fox, a plan already formulating in his mind, but before he could think,Silentkit was dropped at his feet. He quickly shot forward and grabbed her by her scruff, dragging her over to the medecine den. He glanced up at Rabbitpaw with panicked eyes. Though the fox had attacked her paralyzed legs (which weren't useful anyhow), they were still bleeding profusely, and her blood left a trail in the muddy roots. He shuddered, feeling frustration wash over him. He was planning on staying and protecting his sister when he saw the fox grab Shimmer. Horror washed over him, and he knew what he had to do in an instant.]
Bending down, he whispered, "Stay here, Silentkit, Rabbitpaw'll take care of you." He glanced over at Shimmer, a painful look crossing his face, before he added, "I have to help Shimmer before that thing gobbles her up!"
[She can't die again.
He was too panicked to wonder about that thought of dying "again", and his little feet carried him quickly out of the nursery after he licked his sister hastily on the head. Screeching (squeaking, really), Guardianpaw charged at the fox. He wasn't sure what he was doing or how to attack, but he had to do anything-!
Aim for the nose, something told him. It's the weak point.
He didn't ask why. It was too late to do anything else. As the fox slammed Shimmer into the ground once more, Guardianpaw leapt from the shadows and screeched, his little claws unsheathed. Even though his claws were too small to rip fur (( Zannfact, right there ;o )), they were perfect for ripping a wet, soft nose. His blow landed on the foxe's nose, and blood immediately flew forth from the slices in the soft skin of it.
The fox howled and released Shimmer in its pain (( don't want to auto-hit or anything, but any creature's reaction to getting its nose slice is to scream and/or paw at it for a few moments...D: )), and the bengal kitten rolled in the dirt. Guardianpaw leapt forward and grabbed her by the scruff, hauling her backwards. He began to panic again-where would they go for cover?
Suddenly, something whispered in his ear. He twitched it and turned, spotting an almost unrecognizable hole in the bracken wall behind the nursery. Desperately, Guardianpaw stumbled over to it. It smelled faintly of Puresun, but he didn't notice. He dove into the hole and was surprised to find that it was more of a tunnel. He was small enough to wiggle in, being a kitten, and he tugged Shimmer after him, who'd begun to move. The tunnel went deeper into the bracken wall, and was likely the perfect form of cover from the fox, who'd just tear up his face trying to reach the kitten through the thick thorns of the bracken.]
"Shimmer, walk forward!" he hissed urgently to the golden kitten. "We need to take cover! I know you want to fight, but you're putting yourself in danger-that fox'll snap you up with one gulp! Save your fighting for another day when you're full-grown!"
[His silver eyes pleaded with the pretty she-cat, begging her to stay safe.]
Not knowing what else to say, he added in a whisper, "You have to live this time, please...!" _______________________________________________ I will repent for what I've done to you

[Mudnose narrowed her eyes as Cherry screamed stop.] "Don't tell me-" [her voice was cut off as she was suddenly air borne. She let out a yowl of surprise, but it was cut off when she hit the tree. She hissed, but not out of pain. She was tired of this one!
Mudnose stood up angrily, ignoring a pop of protest that came from her shoulder. She didn't have tme to be thinking about those types of things. Instead, she hissed.] "Playing too rough, you say?! You were trying to kill that kit, you bee-brained pup!" [she snarled. Her hiss grew louder when Cherry seized her front leg, and viciously began tugging at it. She could hear a horrible cracking that made her ears flatten. The breaking of bones: The one thing she ever got queasy over. Almost immediately, she felt something unsettling in her stomach. She hissed weakly, staring at Cherry with cold eyes.] "Would you stop that?! I'm going to be sick!" [She growled, trying to pull away from Cherry. [Rover continued to slam Shimmer into the rock, a crazed look on his face. Suddenly out of the darkness Guardianpaw lept forth and dug his tiny claws into his sensitive nose. Instinctively Rover yelped in pain as he dropped Shimmer to the ground for a short moment. Quickly he regained himself to see the small cats run into a small hole. Quickly and with determination the tod pursued them, just missing them as they disappeared into the darkness of the hole. Rover snarled as he put his paw in after them, grabbing Shimmer by the tail. She was too far down to pull out though with his gripless paw. The fox snarled with frustration as he began to dig, widening the tunnels entrance. With his expertise in digging it would not take too long before he would reach them, trap them in their own sanctuary.] "There is no use running kittens. I will kill you eater way..." [He growled in cat speak with a thick fox accent.]
[Cherry growled as she ripped at the she cat's arm angerly. She could hear the cat meow, obviously trying to communicate with her, it all sounded like gibberish except for one phrase which she had learned. Would you stop that?! The vixen's ears shot up as she relised the Siamese's arm and stepped back, staring at the damage she had caused. She flattened her ears. She didnt mean to get so mad... the warrior just made her feel so angry.]

[Marblepaw jumped as Ducky appeared at her side. "D-Ducky!" she stammered. As her dear friend spoke, she gave a curt nod. "Yes!" she exclaimed. She looked between the three foxes and asked, "Which one?" She ran many thoughts through her head and she remembered how she, Ducky, and Smoke had made plans for play fighting. She flattened her ears. But this was the real deal! No going back, life or death, get it or don't. It would have to be good. She stared confidently at her ginger friend. They had both grown, even if they hadn't realized it, from the kits they had been to who they were now. "I'm going after one of them." she said before darting off to the fox after Shimmer and Guardianpaw. It seemed distracted digging like that so she took the opprotunity to pounce. She dug her needle like claws in the fox's backside before trying desperately to claw her way up.]

[Snarling loudly, fur puffed up to make me twice my size, I charged forward, spotting Rover trying to dig into the hole that the apprentices were hiding in. This wasn't good. Unsheathing my claws, I crouched down, then jumped, soaring through the air and landing on Rover's back. I dug my claws in, hissing and spitting]
"PICK ON SOMEONE YOUR OWN SIZE!" I yowled.
[I then proceeded to smack the fox on his head with my paw repeatedly, then chomped down on his neck, before leaping off and pushing my head into his chest, trying to push him back]

How he wished Starkcloud was here.] I never should'a gone. Starkcloud could've taught me to fight and such. And I could actually hurt the thing [Rainpaw thought to himself. He growled when Poppy picked up Sunpaw. Just as he was about to pounce, he flung her to a rock. Gasping, he rushed to her side] "Sunpaw? Sunpaw? You okay?" [Rainpaw asked as he began to nose her. Rainpaw glanced at Pinepaw, he seemed to be doing okay for now. The young apprentice looked back at Sunpaw, he wanted to make sure she was okay before leaving] "Sunpaw? [Silentkit screamed in pain as the fox attacked her again and again. His teeth dug into her soft flesh and she felt the fox tear at her. She tried to fight back but it was no use. She was too weak, just too weak! Suddenly, she felt herself flung and her head struck something hard. A loud yelp escaped her mouth as she fell to the ground limply. She kicked out with her front legs, trying to stand but everything hurt and she felt this sticky liquid all over her. Silentkit heard the fox but a flash of gray was suddenly in front of her. Her blue eyes glanced up at the figure and she couldn't help but let out a sigh of relief.] "Guardianpaw..." [she mewed weakly. Her head pounded and she couldn't focus. She whimpered softly and watched her brother attacked the fox. He was going to get killed! No, no, he couldn't die! Not Guardianpaw! Suddenly, another cat was by her brother's side. Silentkit looked at the cat's pelt and caught a glance at the she-kit's bright silver eyes. Memories seemed to flash before her eyes of an older she-cat with the exact same appearance. They were vague, but they were still there, she could still see them. The older she-cat, she had been there when she was little, when she was born. Mother... She remembered, that cat by her side, with the bright silver eyes, that was her mother. That was Leopardstorm! But why did this kit look so much like her, why? Her mother was dead. Dead!]
[Silentkit was snapped from her thoughts as the fox grabbed her again. She couldn't feel his teeth, only the ones that passed the middle part of her back, but it still hurt! Everything was a blur as the fox shook her from side to side. She tried to wiggle free but the grip on her was too tight. She was going to die! She didn't want to die! Maybe, before, she hadn't cared but not anymore! The white kit hardly noticed her brother and the other she-kit attacking the fox until she hit the ground with a thud! A cry of pain escaped her limps and everything began to blur. She felt her brother drag her somewhere but she wasn't sure where. Her ears moved at the sound of his voice and she lifted her head slightly, but immediately let it fall again. She whimpered in pain and closed her eyes, hardly noticing that her brother had left. She just wanted to sleep, to escape the pain.]

[Rover growled as he could feel Marblepaw lunge and attack him from the back side that stuck out fro the ground. He could feel her claw her way up as he quickly swept her aside by slamming his large, bushy tail into her. Once he had swept the first apprentice away yet another attacked him. Rover, already furious, was not about to put up with theses small cats. He pulled his head out of the ole and snapped Shadowpaw off of his neck and tossed her away.] "And stay off!" [He barked after her as she landed in a puddle of swamp muck. Rover then turned his attention back to digging, sticking his entire head into the widened hole he had created.] Just a little farther....

Pushing myself to my paws, I shook off all of the gross muck, snarling. Once all the dirt was gone, and my fur was fluffed up, I bounded back over to the fox, limping slightly. Since I was much smaller than him, I ducked underneath the fox and scrambled into the whole, trying to make my way through the darkness, and scuttled right into Guardianpaw. Falling back onto my haunches, a slight noise of surprise coming from my throat, I blinked a few times, then jumped to my paws, gasping] "Guardianpaw! The fox is trying to get into the hole! What do we do?!" [Usually, I wouldn't bother talking to the apprentice, preferring to keep to myself, but we were both stuck in this hole, as was Shimmer (right?), and there was no way I was going to die right now without getting my revenge] ___________________________________________________________________________ Didn't think so.
