((No. You have Marco. Joe suffers for his idiocy. <_<))
((Bayer: You get past a destruction shield the same way you get past any other - burn its energy. Sadly, Joe can't sap mana right now. >_> Funny how things work, isn't it? Also, you'd have to be able to see what you're doing.
And seriously. Block the phase sword with the arm. DO IT f*****t.
Also, using direct mana on a Sage shield - like you'd be doing by that attempt - would refuel it. Bad idea.))
The zombies began to grab the guns from the ground.
Sebastian threw zombie into the way of Samuel's Sage bolt and ducked as Joe's platform raised itself. The bolt moved through the zombie, which collapsed, now entirely lacking a midsection. The bolt tunneled several feet into the far wall before dissipating.

((******** yooooooooooooooooooooooooooooou! Man, if Joe was healed...s**t, this would already be over.))
Joe groaned. "Anyone?"
At that point, several Force Bullets slammed the advancing zombies into the floor. Marco flew above, smiling and throwing FBs into the corpses. "Sit-rep?" he asked of Sebastian or Josh.

((Psshaw. Are you kidding? You used up Joe's free save from death against Samuel, remember?))
"Get down here, would you?" Josh asked, rolling his eyes as he spun and kicked another zombie. "The necromancer's gonna shoot you if you don't, I'm guessing." A zombie bear hugged Josh from behind while another began to unload at his shield with a gun of a design the Hunters had never seen before, grabbed off a corpse.

Samuel continued his charge, swinging the phase sword in a diagonal swing at Fyrin's open shoulder. As a follow-up, he brought his off-hand up towards Fyrin's stomach, finishing the chant as he did so. A disintegration field started to radiate from his hand.
((Don't tell him action-changey things! Darnit! And obviously the phase sword has Sageyness around it. That's the main reason why I have it...
Also, Bayer, those people probably weren't PCs. We have blatant PC discrimination in this RP. razz ))

The sword cleaved through Fyrin's arm and shoulder.
((We'll let Bayer try to deal with the Sage blast at his torso. xd ))
((Warning: The more you guys blatantly brag about your characters BAYER AND JOE, the more I punish you. razz ))

((What? BAT AWAY. BAT AWAY SWORD BY STRIKING IT ON THE NON-SHARP EDGE, DANGIT.))
Fyrin grunted, spun away from Samuel, and with the same motion caught the severed bit of his arm, which, in the spin, he reattached using a bit of rock that was a good enough replacement for the moment. In the meantime he hurled several fireballs at Samuel.
The skeletons were all firing at zombies and acting generally as foot-soldiers embroiled in a foot-soldier war do, with the exception of Fyrin's personal guard, who were acting like relatively special forces generally do, which means not getting killed, please.
Paul kept firing, but he turned back to Samuel, whipping up his iPod and unleashed a hail of fireballs.
Darius suddenly roared; his mouth opened and the elemental whirlwind he'd been charging poured forth onto Samuel. Darius was extra-careful to ensure that he kept his vision open and his attack under control - it would not hit an ally.

((The sword is designed to safely carry a Sage's destructive field. Which it was.
Also, you can't say you didn't earn what's happening.))
The skeletons were mostly torn apart by the more-durable zombies, their parts scattered across the floor. As Fyrin spun, he passed both his hand and the arm he caught through the destructive field emanating from Samuel's hand.
Takeshi unleashed several USP rounds at Paul, yelling, "Now!" Gertrude sprinted forward and began to sap Darius' mana. Sebastian covered their back as several vampires and werebeasts turned the corner.

Paul tripped to avoid the shots, threw up a shield of air for the bullets, switched to auto, and sprayed at Takeshi as he rolled to relative safety. From there a grenade came out.
The skeletons, seeing this, withdrew. Except for Fyrin's personal guards. Because they were just beast enough to handle the zombies on their own because they were so as good as PCs.
Darius, having been preparing for precisely this, cut the massive stream of mana and leapt forward, flinging a no not a fist a detonation suprise, chump! He basically blew himself up.
Fyrin detonated bandages to clear away, then replaced his missing parts with earth again. Bones began to regrow, very slowly, on a trickle mana cost. He stepped back, throwing earth into the shield to weaken it. Lots of earth.

((The handblaster or the shield?
Handblaster lasts a second or two, shield lasts until it runs out of time (a few minutes), annihilates enough stuff to burn out its mana, or is deactivated manually.))
Takeshi held his hand out and yelled, "Halt!" A sigil on his palm created a shimmering wall of force before him, stopping the bullets as they approached.
A zombie sprinted for Paul and bear-hugged him, trapping his arms down.
Gertrude was blown backwards, but with her preternatural reflexes and agility, landed on her feet.
Fyrin found little earth in the ground - beneath him was only metal. The marble layers above were protected by the scattered of REF-liquid on the floor higher. Earth was unavailable.

((The shield. He's massacring the shield.))
Okay, fine, Fyrin was hurling fireballs.
Paul shouted for assistance, and received; Vladimir approached to a very short distance and put a few rounds through the zombie before grabbing it, reinforcing himself to prevent from being torn apart, and tossing the son of a gun off. So freed, Paul prepared to engage Takeshi in less conventional means, like throwing in a Multi-Paul. Gertrude might be able to smell him out but that moment of confusion was all he needed.
Darius pressed the advantage, taking a chunk of water from himself and hurling it at Gertrude; it detonated too.

Vladimir's plan met the caveat that the zombie was still bear-hugging Paul. He had perhaps two seconds before the grenade detonated.
Another zombie expressed its desire for Paul not to move his arms, joining the first.
Gertrude's lips drew back and she jumped over the exploding bit.

((I believe it is the zombie that is wielding the 'nade. Venom was not kidding...
Also, yes, the avi is very disconcerting. SWITCH BACK! YOU KNOW YOU WANT TO!))
Samuel smirked and raised a wall of flame, absorbing the fireballs. Darius' blast hit his shield, depleting the mana by some degree.
The others occupied, Samuel advanced on Joe and Sebastian, chanting once more.
((Just as a comment on the battle tactics of the Hunter's at this point... STOP THE METAGAMING! It ruins things... Everyone makes mistakes, so don't believe that your characters are immune to them. Honestly.))

((Ah, it's probably just that we haven't been in direct conflict with PCs for literal months and last time you were on you were right there. I think you have an advantage on fairness.
Also, Venom did not say anything about a grenade. I did not say anything about a grenade. A grenade was never, ever, ever mentioned.))
