Kaen walked down the stairs carrying her sewing basket again. She set it on a table and continued to the bar, looking for food.

Nikela stood in the transportation room, twisting knobs to angle the concentration mirrors.
"Are you sure about this, Mistress?" Chirp asked, hovering near her shoulder.
"Of course I'm sure. This little girl doesn't need to live with these memories if she can't really make sense of them," she said, finishing with the adjustments. "Alright, let's go." She grabbed her pack and stepped over to the mirror, standing under it. "Do your thing, Chirp."
Chirp's sigh was barely audible before he started zooming around her head, going faster and faster until he looked like a glowing halo above her head. The glow got brighter until the two of them vanished.....to appear in front of the Muffin.
"Good job, Chirp," she said, catching the pixie before he collapsed from the energy expulsion.

And from the mist of the cold evening emerged a being. He was tall bulky and was covered in blue fur from head to foot. He was your classic fairy tale beast. Ogre like and massive. He shoved open the door and squeezed his body inside, staring at everyone.

Kaen looked up, feeling the sudden cold air. "Hello...sir....can I help you?" she asked, coming around the bar.

Nikela baulked at the sight of the creature, then shook her head. "I should be more used to things like him," she muttered to herself as she followed him inside.

Lou turned to look at the ones who entered after him, then back to Kaen, "Water." he grunted gruffly, thumping over to the fireplace as he slowly eased his massive body onto a couch.

Kaen nodded and retreived the water. She noticed Nikela and her pixie as she carried the water to Lou. "Here you are, sir. Would you like anything else?" she asked him.

Louise took the glass, which fit in his fingers like a shot glass. "Thank you," He said politely before finishing the drink easily in one sip.

"Excuse me, ma'am, but are you Kaen, Fyr'rose Sariya's caregiver?" Nikela asked, approaching Kaen, setting Chirp on her shoulder.

Lou turned his attention to the new arrivals, wondering what they were there for. Perhaps they knew each other.
