Dorien immediately turned around, but it was too late. She had already lost consciousness. He couldn't have heard her right...she can't be in her right mind... His eyes narrowed as confusion filled his head. How he hated that feeling. Why should Tien fight Tara? They obviously had to fight from the way they acted...why did Magnolia think he would stop that?

Merlin was suddenly in the hallway facing Dorien, My, my, seems things are heating up. She commented rather mildly. She spotted Magnolia saftely in bed, I'm going to have to get a new bed for my room. She noted as an afterthought.

Dorien wasn't even going to begin to wonder what that comment was supposed to mean before he began to fade away, Keep her here. I don't what her interfering with my actions again. He said before he was comepletely gone.

A flash of red and Tien knew Tara had disappeared. Silver eyes sparkled slightly, more from the glowing symbols all around him than from anything else. He had underestimated Dorien's powers, especially spiritual strength. The second beast, Dorien's beast, still could be felt all around him. It was quite amazing. And to stop his attack without straining his energy....
Tien grinned, he would have to work a little harder than usual, but not by much. He wouldn't let the same mistake happen twice.

Merlin was rarely good at obeying orders but she happened to agree with Dorien in this instance. She'd heard what Magnolia wanted and it frightened her. She sat down on Magnolia's bed, her hair had already been brushed from her face, this small detail made Merlin raise a brow in curiosity, You're soft already. She thought privately.

Dorien appeared sitting on the altar, his eye downcast in thought as he said, Give me one good reason why I should deem you worthy of your life much less than the chance of being my vessel. It better be good. he said, as the marking around them began to glow white.
You could have killed one of my own blood and your own. Why should I forget that?

Tien stiffened as the white glow surrounded him, silently cursing himself at how foolish he had been to walk into this place. He had no idea what the power around him could do and now it was too late. He sighed, an inner wind blowing around them, It was all a matter of self defense. You know this very well. My sister and I are already enemies, and I would have ended our little fight quickly if your 'blood' hadn't interfered. WHy should you care? You have destroyed millions of being, vampires, lycans, and even your own kind. How am I any different from yourself?
He was traveling dangerous ground and he knew it. But he had to if he was going to live through this.

Dorien slowly stood up, the movement far too calm for what this vampire had just done. You compare me to you as if you have that right! he growled, slowly stepping towards him, I killed my own only when they betrayed me. I killed the others only when they stood in my way. But I'll kill you for the fun of it if you ever compare me to you again.

Soft footsteps entered the Nocturne, the guards not even trying to stop the figure as she spoke her purpose. Dark brown eyes looked around her, not really surprised that the club was empty. Even the weakest vampire could feel the energy surrounding the city by now and was on alert.
The foosteps began again as she walked up the stairs, her Lotus symbol glowing slightly as she walked down the hall. She had to find Merlin....before it was too late.

Ah...he had struck a nerve. Good. Tien bowed graciefully to the approaching Leader, not showing the slightest fear as the light glowed brighter. I was merely making an observation. We do alot of things for the same reasons. What more of a reason to make me your vessel than that? You won't have to worry about me going to the others for help. I'd be your fledging in a sense.

Dorien actually grinned at that. How strange for you to ask...The woman you attack earlier asked the same thing.. His eyes narrowed as he began to circle Tien, a predatory look in his eyes. The white light shrunk and became a circle only surrounding Dorien and the Sulla now. Why shouldn't I choose her? Her powers are the same as mine, her blood my blood... he stopped infront of him, his twin swords appearing in his hands. Why should I choose a Sulla over my own species?

A door was ajar and when Lina passed it she'd see Merlin inside. She turned to look at the other Leader, "Lina." She aknowledged, standing and walking to the door, exiting and closign the door behind her. She led Lina to her office and sat down.

The woman....Tien thought with a small bit of surprise. So she is an elf.. The way Dorien had protected her shoul have been a clear sign of that. Does she have the heart to kill? he asked after a moment. Can she stand by and watch as an entire village is destroyed by the very power you possess? Can she even kill an innocent life? If any of those questions is a yes, then I would gladly back away. But I don't think that you can say yes to any of them. She is too kind, her power untainted as ours are. She may be an elf Dorien, but I don't think she be able to handle your strength, the ability to kill without a moments thought or even smile when an opponent has been tortured. And you know I am right don't you....

Lina said nothing until they were inside the office, her gaze serious as she said, "Why did you do it Merlin? Why set Dorien free when you knew what he can do?" it was something she had been wondering for a while, "I feel the danger in the air, just as it always is when he was abotu to bring terror down to millions."

Dorien listened, silently impressed with Tien's words. So...he is wise behind that foolish exterior... She is an innocent, but you forgot something Tien.. he said, suddenly grabbing his neck. I don't care.And with that, the circle around them disappeared, sending Dorien's true power throughout Tien's body.

Merlin replied, her fingers were peaked, "If things go the way she wants them to, she will become his new vessel but I have a feeling she will not be like Tyran or any other vessel that he has had."
