Eldin looked at both of them as if he was a deer caught in the headlights. "Um... Fine..." Sitting down, it was obvious that he was uncomfortable sitting this close to the demon. But, even as he was here, Eldin continued to watch Joker cook, curious on how the food was going to taste.

"Fiiiiinnnnished!" Joker said in a cheerfully, sing song voice and placed a large stack of banana pancakes in the middle of the table with a hundred percent maple syrup, a bowl of fruits and some butter near it. "Eat up my friends. I'll be back. I need to take this stuff off before I eat." He said and walked out, whistling softly. Monty looked at Eldin, waiting for the elf to eat first. He had enough manners to let others eat before him but if the elf was going to hesitate then that was like flashing red in front of a bull to tempt him. Not a good thing.

Eldin watched Joker leave as if he was just sentenced to death. Soon though, he regained his composure and sighed, hesitating a bit, but lightly taking some fruit and a pancake to try. The elf took a small bite, still worried with having just Monty there, but the taste of the pancakes distracted him for a moment. But, once he looked up to take a small bit of the syrup, his hand froze and he just placed it by him, allowing Monty to take whatever he wanted before him.

Monty took a few pancakes and dribbled maple syrup on them. He placed the syrup next to Eldin and began to eat his food. Had this been a different time, he would have found this highly amusing and would have made the boy run, screaming in fear but he didn't because this wasn't like anyother day. "Does the food please you?" He asked.

Jumping slightly, Eldin blinked and nodded, "Y-Yeah... It's great... I've never had this kind before... It's really good..." Using a small amount of syrup, Eldin took another small bite of the food, cherishing the interesting taste. But, seeing as Monty spoke, the elvish in him made it so that Eldin had to return with good manners. "Did you sleep well?" He didn't know what to call Monty seeing as he didn't like 'Mr', or 'Sir', and the other things to put in front of his name were too good for him, but 'Monty' was too informal for someone who Eldin was terrified of.

Monty gave the elf a curt nod. "I slept enough. What about you?" He asked, eating more of his breakfast acting highly more civil then he first thought, which was a good thing but he didn't think it would be right if Eldin had to endure some much of his company without at least himself getting some entertainment out of it.

Seeing as Monty was being civil, Eldin relaxed extremely, "I slept pretty well, and I'm glad that you did." He took a sip of his water, following it with another small bite of food. The only problem was, Eldin had no clue on what to talk about now, but he thought that there should be something. There wasn't any common grounds between the two though, so it was hard.

The demon snorted softly. "I find that hard to believe. Now, I would believe that you would have wanted me to die in my sleep." He said and drank some of his milk quickly and getting up to get some more. "Is there anything else you would like?" He asked Eldin as the demon was mentally clapping himself for not losing all of his manners in all of this chaos.

"W-What?!" Eldin looked shocked that the man would say that, "I don't want anyone to die in their sleep, Monty. Not even you." But realizing that he was giving the demon an annoyed look, Eldin looked back down and took another small drink, "I'm fine, thank you." He still couldn't figure out why Monty would think that he would want him to die in his sleep. No, Eldin didn't like him, but like it or not they were teammates... If it came down to it, Eldin could put aside his distaste for someone and work together as needed.

Monty shrugged lightly and poured himself more milk, sitting down with his glass. "It's what most people would have said. If you want anything, please help yourself." He said to the elf, slightly amused now that Eldin was shocked by what he said and ate more of his breakfast.

Eldin blinked, "Why would anyone want someone to die in there sleep? That's just not right..." If someone was to die, it would be head on with a weapon in there hand. Just because he used magic didn't mean that Eldin didn't fight with honor. He took another sip of his water, standing up slightly, he went to get himself some water.

"It's the way the world works." He simply said, finishing up his batch of hot cakes and got himself some more. He looked at the door that lead into the house and frowned. "I hope Joker hasn't got lost." He muttered and ate some more of his pancakes.

"Then the world needs to grow up..." Muttering that in elvish, Eldin blinked and looked down the hall as well, "I hope he comes back soon..." I do not want to be here alone with you for too long! Eldin was sure that Monty was one of those demons that stole your soul the moment you let your guard down... Taking another bite of the pancakes, he finished his food, getting up to wash his plate.

"Of course. I hope so to. If only to save you from being here in my presense." He said, not looking at the elf and just eating. Speaking of the insane man, Joker came in with a apologetic smile. "Sorry about that everyone. I went ahead and took a shower and changed into some normal clothes to look normal." Joker looked at Eldin. "Did you like those pancakes?" He asked, hoping that Eldin made that one of his favorite foods.

Eldin ignored Monty as he smiled at Joker, "They were really good, Joker. I liked them a lot." No, they weren't going to be one of his favorite foods, but he would put them up there on his favorites list for the foods of here. Another smile and Monty was successfully put out of his mind. Hopefully Joker understood what horror Eldin almost went through for being left alone with the hot tempered demon...
