Eldin was walking down the hall when he still heard what Joker had said, but he wasn't going to act like he did. Entering the room silently, Eldin sighed and sat on the bed. This was starting to affect everyone. I don't like either one and it's killing me... Dear Goddess... Please end this... He didn't know how much longer he was going to be able to take this.

Monty returned his attention to cooking and finished it quickly. Afterwards he told Joker not to bother cleaning up because he will be back to do so and walked off into his shed, closing the door and growling at the silence that graced him. This was pissing him off all over again. Damn him and damn everyone for bothering him with it and blaming him.

She rolled her eyes, taking a swig of the rum that she had gotten from the drunk on the other tables. "It's not alchemy kid. There's no 'equivalent exchange' and how I'm able to do this isn't your concern. You've said that I'm a good guy even though I'm a thief, okay... Then what's the problem. I just take what's mine, and save this city and other places. That's not bad. Now, if there's a point to your watching me, then by all means tell me... But if you're going to be a threat, I will kill you. It's not above or beneath me."
After a couple slams of the door, Rave found that sleep wasn't going to come anytime soon. Growling softly, he went to the kitchen and got some water. "Why do people slam doors? Don't they know people want to sleep?" A ticked off glare was sent in the shed's direction, but Rave ended his annoyance there. For obvious reasons he disliked Monty, but he promised that he would be civil. Now... If Monty really ticked him off... No promises there. "And hello Joker."

"Actually, it is alchemy. Well, a form of it. Equivalent exchange only deals with transmutation, but the alchemy you use is manipulation alchemy. I want to know who taught you that, or who gave you the ability to use it. You see, manipulation alchemy is almost impossibly difficult, so there's next to no-one on the entire planet who can use it. But you can." Zeen said. "Oh, and you do know I can just summon my sword here if I want, so you really diddn't do more than annoy me by teleporting it away from here." he said.

"Oh dear Goddess!" Growling, shadows went to his throat and arms, completely binding him so that even if he did get his sword, it would be useless. "It's not f*cking alchemy! Different races can do different things, it's not that damned difficult to understand!" She glared. Dusk was really getting ready to kill this kid. "Calm down, Dusk..." Looking to the side, she saw the bartender, one of her older friends. "He's pissing me off." "Then kill him in a back alley. Not here."
She grinned, but no humor was there, "Now... If you don't listen to what I'm saying, I'll keep you bound and torture your sorry a**. I'm not in your league kid." She was a royal of Ellwood, all of them exceptional fighters and some of the hardest people to kill. And her with her half blood of whatever it is just made it better. "Now... I won't tell you who helped me, nor will I explain everything that it is. I have a few friends that use alchemy, and this isn't it."

Joker shrugged and looked at Rave with a bright smile. "Hello Rave! How are you?" He blinked and shook his head. "Forgive me, stupid question. Your obviously tired and now pissed off about the slamming. Force of habit. I'm afraid it's one of those things that he won't drop. Anyways, are you hungry? Perhaps something to eat before you sleep? Gambler should be in bed by now too." He said, starting to ramble on and shutted up on the spot.

Running an annoyed hand through his hair, Rave looked much paler than normal. "I don't think I'd be able to keep anything down, Joker, but thank you." He gave the man a glance, but made sure not to keep too much contact. Rave knew that his eyes were probably a storm of emotions at the moment; Anger, fear, distress, rage, annoyance, all of it there in his icy blue eyes that were starting to look more silver than anything. "Did you ever speak with Kalore before he left? You know what all is going on?"

Joker was about to give Rave the Cheshire Cat smile but thought better of it since the man looked out of shape. "Yes. I know and understand what is going on but I'm at liberty to tell you or anyone what was said. I hope you understand that." He said and finished washing the dishes, putting them away neatly. "Now, do me a favor. Go to bed. It's better if you go now before the boss has a heart attack over how horrible your looking." He said, giving the elf a mock stern look.
Gambler was curled up on the side of the bed in her robe, lightly dozing off but she couldn't because for one Rave wasn't sleeping and two, she had to go to work in the next few hours. Which sucked but that was okay, it came with the title.

The man blinked a bit and then sighed, shrugging, "All I meant was that if you knew about Kalore leaving and Eldin having to leave, but I'm glad that Kalore spoke to you." Rave took another sip, ignoring a retort that desperately wanted to come out. It doesn't matter how much sleep I get, I'm still going to look like this. It was just how he was. Sighing, Rave gave a slight nod, "I'll leave then." Nodding again, he took some water with him as he went to Kalore's old room, crashing there.

~Next Day~ Gambler woke up and went straight into the shower. She was up before dawn and had to get to the office before the sun was up. Finishing up quickly, she dressed up in her nice, black on black pinstripe suit that showed off her body in the right light and made her look professional, if not scary boss lady. Stretching her arms over his head she checked on everyone and gave Rave a kiss on his forehead before she left the house to work. Maybe she would come for lunch and see how everyone doing but that was if she was finished with one big thing that was important, rankings. Joker woke up after Gambler left and started to make some breakfast at a slow and easy pace. He still looked ridiculous in his outfit from before, with his bathrobe, slippers, shower cap and whatever else the insane man had on. The good thing he took his meds, otherwise he was going to be creepy. Monty also woke up early but he did his morning exercises and then showered. He would come out of his hell hole to eat breakfast. It was as if everything was normal in his world.

Eldin woke up a little after he started to smell food. Blinking, the boy got up, put on some socks and a shirt and walked out. "Good morning." He looked at Joker and hid a smile at the man's...interesting outfit. "Did you sleep well?"
The other elf didn't wake up though, in fact, Rave barely even registered that he was given a kiss that morning. It was partially him just not being a morning person, but also because he didn't get any sleep that night. Rave didn't trust Eri, even though he knew that Kalore would be treated like a god by the man. It made his mind go through all these scenarios that just kept going over and over, making it impossible for the man to sleep.

Joker looked over at Eldin and grinned. "Good morning my friend. I slept very well. How about you? I hope you slept well." While he was at it, he looked past him. "I hope Rave is sleeping well. Perhaps you can stay home with him and make sure he gets a good sleep. The Twins will be over later and maybe Gambler. Monty will be in his shed." He flipped the pancakes in the flying pan like a pro and looked back at Eldin. "Get ready for the greatest banana pancakes you have ever tasted." He said with a smile.
It was at this time that Monty came in through the door, looking stoic and aloof. It was as if nothing happenend and as if everything was alright. He got himself a plate and while he was at it, he got Joker and Eldin their plates and glasses and forks with knives. He setted up the table there and went to get everyone something to drink. This was a normal day.

Watching this, Eldin blinked in confusion but didn't comment on it. Instead he looked at Joker and smiled slightly, "I'll try to make sure that he rests, but I don't think he's going to get much... Hopefully he will though." Leaning on the counter, Eldin watched, "Banana pancakes, seriously?" Eldin peeked over the man's shoulder, watching, "Awesome! I've never had them."

Joker looked at Eldin and shook his finger at him. "Now, now, go sit down and watch to have them. Otherwise your going to get burned." He shooed Eldin away as Monty almost sat down, looking at the elf as if he was a wild animal about to pounce on him if the boy didn't sit. Yes, he was acting normal. Or as normal as he could be.
