Cassidy laughed and said, "Your eyes change colors with the seasons? That's amazing!" she sadi with a giggle.
"Your eyes are green just like mine. Mine only change color when I vamp out, and then they only turn to black."
On a more solemn note, biting her lip once more Cassidy said in a fearful whisper, "I do believe he's arriving...tonight. Tomorrow at the latest..." The fear was eating her from the inisde out, but she was trying her best not to show it. "Incase you havn't noticed, I'm not much of a fighter, never have been, and I'm afraid I never will be." she gulped and said, "I feel terrible, I have to rely on others to protect me, because I don't know how, or if I can defend myself."

"You can't have the baby in some strange place" I said objectingly, "I wish I could go with but, there's alot of people on their way here, who want to kill us all and take my house..." I trailed off a bit, "I can't let that happen" I sighed, "please stay, have the baby here, I'll help you with the kids, we need you here, maybe not Shadow, but the rest of us do" I said trying not to beg

Shadow stood and walked out the back door. He walked stright into the forest and walked deep into it. He felt the winds around him pick up. Shadow started to chant an incantation and before long he had summoned all the forces he could. He commanded his forces to proceed to the clearing and they did, neatly arranged. 2 teams of 10 skeletons and the other 5 wighs. The dead in the grave yard came to life. The only 5 that were not destroyed in the pervious fight. The walked to the ammo store and waited. Shadow walked deeper and deeper into the forest.

"See that's another reason I can't have my child here I don't want to take a chance of either of them getting caught up in a battle that is not mine." she said with a sigh "I think I'm gunna head to Italy I've always wanted to go there and Alexia wants to see where I grew up in England. I'll send you a letter letting you know how we are." she said as she gave Vicki a hug. "I'm going to miss you Vicki and I know that Alexia will miss her Auntie Vicki."

"yeah. Mine go black when I haven't fed though. Don't break the skin!" he chuckled as Cassy bit her lip once more. A wave of fear took over him, it was coming from Cassidy. Sending back some calm he hoped it would help. "Wonderful..." he muttered at the estimated arrival time. "Its okay, you've got me, Vicki and Shadow to protect you!" he added his eyes lighting up as he smiled and playfully hit her knee. On a more solemn note. "I didn't realize he would be here that fast... I was helping Vickilyn sort weapons. I didn't think... that the danger would be that close. You probably could tell I was sorting weapons. I nearly shot Shadow. I was handling an automatic and it fired off a few rounds. D-do you know of any weakness'?"

"Italy's great, I went there a long time ago, when I thought Jaik died" I said thinking back about 90 years. "The food's great, and you're right they shouldn't be around a battle..." I hugged her back, "I'll look for your letters, and I wish you the best of luck, and hug Alexia for me" I said picking the swords back up and taking them to the dining room

Cassidy gave him a weak smile at the lip comment and said, "Bad habbit, haha I hear they die hard, or is that old habbits?" she waved it away not really caring. She gave another half hearted smile and said, "I wish I didn't have to rely on the three of you so much, I'm such a liabillity."
She giggled at the thought of Shadow alost getting shot.
At his question she shook her head and said, "Sadly...no."
She watched Shadow race past them and she quickly stood up. She pulled Abel to his feet, and said, "Come on, we have to see what he's up to, and assist him in anyway." She gave him a smile and said, "And Abel, thanks."

Shadow stopped walking. He coudl see movement off in the distance, something was comming his way or multiple things. It was a half decomposed dire wolf. "Hello again, what new do you bring me now." he said as he knelt down. The wolf walked over to him and wispered into his ear. Shadow patted it on the head and sent it on its way. "So Marquis, I think you are close enough to hear me. Come my friend, face me like we did in the old days before a battle." he called out into the forest.

Moments later Cassidy was by Shadow's side, fangs out, eye's black and gun at the ready. "Shadow, he's here, I can feel it," she whispered in a frightened voice. She stood by him her small frame shivering. "You better not die on me today," she said rather bluntly before she planted a kiss upon his lips.

Satsuki shivvered. The presence she felt earlier that frightened her out of her sleep was close. The eye on the cross seemed to glow like a fire before Satsuki walked outside not sure what to expect.

Shadow kissed Cassidy back. "Your father is here? Then he must be a part of the invading force. I had hoped he wouldn't be." he said as he hugged her, hopping to calm her a little. "I won't die here today. It will take more than these washed up old fools to kill me."

Cassidy shivered once more and said, "This is bad, really bad, isn't it?" she said refering to the joined forces. Cassidy hugged him back and kissed him once more before releasing him. She smiled and said, "I'm holding you to that Shadow."

"Aw hell!" Van yelled above everyone. He walked over to a group and said "Ok, I would have told you guys this way happening, but last night I saw it get changed and it is back to the original plan. I am sorry. But I am ready to fight, anyone and anytime." He smiled as he fangs showed. He took out his sais and put it in to the position in his hand for battle. He felt the presence of someone with cruel intentions.
