As Zac listened to Jeff, she couldn't help but smile at his statement about her dad.
So my dad likes to think.
She laughed at this , but was also intrigued about Jeff having pdone a show in Exington, which also explained why his hands might be so rough, if he played a guitar or something.
What kind of show did you do, and where?

Ben knew that now Jeff would be sidetracked and talking about his band now so he decided to take his plate and cup out. He dropped the two articles in the sink and saw Keira. Smiling, he took a seat next to her.

As Jeff was asked the questions, his face went into a different mode, much more relaxed and calm than it had been earlier.
Oh yeah? Well, he did sponsor part of that big a** stadium we were playing in. He even got up and welcomed everyone to the show.
Jeff laughed as he realized that maybe Zac wasn't there.
Oh, my band was there...CinderBl0k! I was back there beatin' the skins...I mean...playing the drums.

Ben raised his eyebrow a little, Keira didn't sound too thrilled but he knew that it wasn't any of his business if Keira didn't offer the information.
Getting by? Yeah...I think I can relate...me? Oh it's been doing good, Synge and I snuck out to visit a friend last weekend and other than than I have been studying, ya know.

Oh okay then Keira.
Now she remembered. It wasn't often that her father sponsered a band, but when he did they had to be good, and she usually tagged along for the big event.
Now I remember. I couldn't stick around to meet you guys as I was headed out on business the next morning, so I ended up just staying off in the wings for a bit. But what I did hear was pretty good.
Her and her father may not have always seend eye to eye, but she had to admit he was always willing to help out young talent, when he felt they deserved it.

Jeff nodded as he thought back to the event and smiled.
Heh, that was the night Shawn got s**t-faced and thought that security guard was coming on to him when she was really just frisking him. HA! That was fun. Yeah, I think I remember they were saying brought to you buy David, Zac and the rest of the Morgan family....something. Cool..You shoulda been there, we might have partied or something.
He looked up to see Ben was talking to Keira but figured it was best not to bug him right then so he turned back to Zac.
Why would you come out here.... I mean...your all important...coming to a place like this.

Zac let out a chuckle, it sounded like they had had a fun time, to bad she couldn't have stayed.
Sounds like you have a pretty interesting group of friends.
As far as me being all important. I don't really think so. Heh, me coming out here was really just an accident. I kind of just walked here a few days ago.
Zac thought what her dad would be doing now that she was gone, and wondered if he really was worried for her.

Ben's face changed to concern. He had heard the name Akito...that was Synge's cousin. He looked more and more concerned.
She was smiling...What did this...uh...Akito guy do?

He laughed again when Zac talked about his friends and nodded.
Yeah, my bandmates are some crazy dudes. We have fun though!
He seemed to think for a little longer than normal when he heard about how Zac got here.
Woah...that's like...deep. You just started walking when you were feeling unimportant and ended up here...crazy man.

You need to be around more often Ben...you sound like you just don't know anyone around here! Synge was the same way last night! Hah! Anyway, well he didn't really do anything, but when he came into the room, it was like you could cut through the ar because it was so thick! He also lifted up her patch which I thought was rather rude of him to do since I know how Synge is about it...
