A wry grin suddenly spread over his face as he looked at Hono. "Missed me?! Maaan, your goin way outta your way for a visit, lovely. Dangerous too...I'm glad you haven't lost that fatalistic curiosity you had."
There was a moment of silence after Vahn had said his name, he couldn't...Sun honestly couldn't believe how good it was to see his friend standing. Remembering the condition the other man had been when he'd left... .... then he just couldn't help himself.
There was a flurry of white and gold robes as Sun picked Vahn up in a bear hug, dancing around.
"Vahn!! Is it good to see you! I got lots I gotta tell you both!" The last part was said after putting the other man down, but he still retained an arm around a pair of darker shoulders. There was something...vaugly different about Sun, and it wasn't just the slightly expensive robes he wore. Admittedly, he'd been tall before, but...somehow it seemed as though something was being held back...
Anyone looking at his shadow would probably notice that it was a lot bigger then it was supposed to be...

fatalistic curiosity? Oh Sun my dove... you know I'm as curios as a cat, but from what I recall the two of you are more likely to end up bleeding than little old me...*She laughed happily watching what appeared to be a tender reunion between Sun and Vahn.*
Now you look good Sunshine... I must say that look suits you, even if it is a bit old fashioned sweatdrop *he looked different, but then it had been a while since Raven had seen him*

"Erk! H-Hey!" He found himself picked up, exhaling sharply as he was caught off guard and trying to push the red-head away. "I'm happy, but I'm not that happy!"
It was good... this felt good.
Good to be back.
"Where did you go? No one could find you... after what happened." Reality crashed back in, as well as the current state of things. It was never easy.... Yellowed eyes looked over his friend, noticing something was amiss, but kept quiet.

Sunstrike looked down, his eyes shadowed. "Aye, s'...been a bit rrough on all of us." Suddenly the arm over the shoulder was more then just a friendly hold, Vahn was actually holding Sun up.
"We gotta get to some cover, Vahn, Hono. Or else I'm gonna get stranger looks then I've already gotten..."
His head lifted and black scales were seen fighting their slow way from the eye lids outwards. Sun stared around and saw one of the large battle tents erected on a cleared away building site.
"That will do for now, s'tall enough, I think." Letting go of Vahn he began to make his way over to it, beckoning the other two to follow, and to his credit, only stumbling a small amount.
The flap was lifted, there seemed to be no one about, just the large table with a map, much like Engels own, drawn into it.

Alright. So here I am in Strata. What for? I need to pick up some specials. Me being me attracts the wrong kind of attention sometimes. No. A lot of times. So I thought I'd finally come pay my bill.
Reiko turned into an alley and followed it around back until he got to a small 4-step staircase descending to a common old door.
This guy's called Hama. I've known him for a while now. He's the only one who knows where I am when I take a "vacation" or "die." He's a supplier. You can get stuff from him about as rare as your individuality. If you understand that. We both have a lot of common interests. So anything I want.. I know he'll have.
-Ding, ling, ing-
-klik-
"You know bullets can't stop me." Reiko opened up, with his usual monotonous speech. "Where's Hama?"
"SAKA!" A caramel skinned woman who was already aiming a mini-gun at his temple dropped it and attached herself to him. "Where have you been?! Probably been ******** some white b***h! Why the ******** am I on you?"
"Please. Slow down. You know what you said isn't true. Where's Hama?"
The woman put a finger over his lips to shoosh him.
-Ahh! Ahh!-
"Oh. Well, don't touch my mouth with your hands. I don't know where you've been."
"Oh shut up, you know where I've been and it's probably where you'll want me to be later."
"Then you'll understand why I want you not to touch my mouth."
She put all of her fingers up and pushed his face, sending his head back, and him back a step.
"a*****e. Just wait here. The last time you busted in on him he almost shot me."
"I'm the one that got shot.. and you're worried about an 'if'."

*Hono blinked up at Sun, wondering what the hell was going on.*"Sun..."
*shaking her head as she watched him hurry away into a abandoned hut she looked up as Vahn as if to ask him if he knew what was going on... except that he likely did not... and so with a little sigh of frustration she followed after Sunstrike, wondering if this was a good idea, or if she was just going to end up in the way* sweatdrop

The soft rattling of chains was the only sound to accompany the flap of fabric from the tent, as Vahn made his way inside. Supporting Sunstrike, he entered and looked about seeing no one.
At least for now. He was pretty sure Dain would track them down when he was good and ready. "Raven... close the flap up please. We don't need anyone wandering by and peeping in."
He laid out the red-head into a nearby seat, standing back up and pulling strands of... black hair. Tch...dye's already fading.
The rock snake mantle moved, covering his entire body once more as he stood in front of Sunstrike.
"Alright... so where did you go, and who took you there?"

Sun buried his head for a moment, and there was a loud crack as magic tore through, forcing him into the form of Dearc, the chair creaked but maintained his weight as he pulled his legs up to rest his muzzle on his knees. His wings flanked the sides of the wood and his robes fit a lot better.
He still seemed to have an alright grip on words as he spoke though. "I left you with that man...you alright, by the way? You...don't seem as bad off as you were, of which I'm grateful. Samuel and Ezekiel kinda...dumped me in the middle of Hollow, I...got there just in time to see something I really wish that I hadn't."
There was a haunted look in his eyes as the scaled head turned to both Hono and Vahn. "Their leader is dead...and I...kinda, maybe...sort of...am the heir to Hollow's throne?" This was quickly glossed over as he shifted subjects.
"They thought the humans did it, Vahn, s'why they attacked, because when I got there, it seemed as though humans were attacking Hollow. Now I've half convinced Engel that it wasn't the case, but it was already too late to stop the carnage here...so now both Engel and I are concerned that you guys are about to throw soldiers over the hill, as it were, when really it's been a hell of a trap set up by, well...all I can think to call them is demons."
He got up, towering over both humans and pacing in front of them. "Then there's this ruin that's caused more concern...you know anything about any excavation parties, Vahn?"

*hono closed the flap, using a few points of power to sort of staple the flap to the wall with wind so that they would not be easily disturbed.*
*Rave leaned back against the wall crossing her arms over her chest as she waited to see what was going to happen next today, beginning to think that she should never have gotten out of bed. And the feeling was reinforced as the Sunstrike she had always known suddenly became something that she had never seen before. Eyes wide with shock she watched the strange man pace back and forth, but his words were still Sun, and his obvious agitation was defiantly still so, and so when he turned to look at Her and Vahn again she had a soft smile on her face again, just glad to see him, even if he did look very different.. and she had to crane her neck back to look up at him* xp

So here I was, waiting on Hama to finish doing his thing. This meant I had to spend time talking to one of his hos. I get stuck with the same one everytime, but I never managed to remember her name. She might kill me if I try to ask now.
Reiko was sitting down next to a table with the woman sitting crossed legged on the edge of it. She changed her position abruptly to where she was laying face down across the table with her elbows propped up and her upperbody raised. And somehow, a car magazine got in front of her.
"So, what has my favorite customer been up to?"
It's not what you think. All of them help run Hama's business. So customer.. in this sense is innocent.
"Looking for money..."
"Money? Oh yeah. You used to be rich. I miss seeing all that money. I got wet everytime I saw it."
Typical woman. "I'll bet."
"Geez, you're all about business today. What did you even order? I might know where it is."
"The works. Oh and.. the sword handle."
"You mean you're the one who ordered all of that HEAVY s**t? Well you're gonna have to carry it yourself."
She said, as she got up and slid open a "hidden" door. Inviting Reiko to enter.
"That's fine."
The works. Custom made underarmor. It's heavy as ******** but it's enough to stop a lot of strong fire even at point blank. What does the trick? Well.. business secret. A good knife for cutting people, one of Hama's specials. It can stop anything if you've got the grip. And finally I this sword handle. For Piupiu no doubt.
The woman watched Reiko take off his hoodie and put on the armor. Then he made the knife disappear on himself somewhere. And finally... he made the sword handle disappear as well.
"Tell Hama I said hey."
"Whatever. Instead, you should just stop by more often."
"Sounds like a plan."
And I left.

"Those two...?" He hadn't had enough time to propely digest the facts let alone rest from all the events that took place. However, the arrival of both individuals, coupled with the warning they had recieved from the thing calling itself 'Winters' began to slowly click.
He could finaly draw a stable connection between these "maskless" demons and to his brother, Victor. "I don't understand... he got what he wanted from me, back at the stadium. What more does he want...?"
The words were spoken slightly more to himself rather than to anyone else, even as Sunstrike took on a different appearence. Vahn had been witness to the red-head's transfigurations before, but this one was... more 'natural'.
"Chusi is dead?!" The gravity of the situation began to heavily settle in at this point. Dammit... just a trick, it was all just a damn trick! Even as he turned around, a hand scratching at the back of his neck.
"Excavation parties? What do you mean?"
By this point, he had settled into a nice corner of the tent, leaned against the edge of the table. He was busying himself with lighting a damp and worn out cigarette bud.

Sunstrike leaned over the table himself.
"Something big is being dug out of the ground apparently..."
The orange orbs studied the map on the table, placing the knowledge of the other on top so they overlapped. A clawed hand moved forward to a blank spot and made a circle in the wood.
"...there. When I left, I gave Engel the order to scope it out carefully, find out what the ruins actually are, while I went to, hopefully, not be torn apart by you or any other humans." Discomfort etched over his features.
"You gotta come back with me so we can settle this once and for all, Vahn. Times are rough enough as it is without these people blowing up again with each other...all because someone wants us out of the way..."
He looked to Hono as well. "I need you too, love, there's a problem that needs solving after all's said and done, and I don't think anyone else can solve it for me but you..."

"Grragh!"
-Skuuu-
"Who else wants to lose their money?"
Reiko kneeled down to collect the money off the ground in the circle formed by the crowd. His K.O.-ed opponent had to be escorted out of the circle.
This is the best and most legal way I know to make fast cash right now. I used to do this as the champion before one of my many retirements, but now.. I don't really care about the recognition...
A poor looking little girl secretly tried to pick up some of the money on the ground and walk away with it before Reiko placed a hand on her, sending her into immediate shock and paralyzing fear. However, her fears were disposed of as Reiko handed her half of the money he picked up. Then smiled at her as she politely smiled back and made her way out of the crowd of spectators to wherever she was going.
It is nice to pick up a few new fans along the way though.
"Heh, heh, heh."
As Reiko kneeled there contemplating his action a large bulky shadow overlapped his from behind. Taking note, he stood up calmly and then turned around.
Here comes another one.
"C'mon.."
