Surprisingly, Will was the first to react when Krii'Ouse began to fall backwards. Using his good leg, Will pushed off of the medical table, careening towards where his old friend was falling. Krii'Ouse fell right into his lap, sending the wheelchair skidding back and taking the two of them with it. They only stopped when Will's back impacted with the wall. Quickly, he waved the others off. "Ow... I'm ok. I've got Sethe handled, you just focus on Jaffar."

As they all turned back to the root of this problem, Will glanced down at Krii'Ouse with worry. For the battle within Jaffar's mind to reopen Sethe's old wound, from the demons' totures... He knew enough about astral and mental combat to know that this was a bad sign. Sethe and Skiaska needed more help, and Lydia wasn't here yet. But... He had picked up a few tricks from having known Sethe for so long.

Clearing his mind, he focused on Sethe. Slowly, his mind was drawn into Sethe's and sent to the place where Sethe was sending his thoughts. In effect, Will used somebody else's powers to allow himself psychic entry into the mental and astral planes of Jaffar's mind. Sort of like piggybacking on a radio signal. And Will knew something very important; on the astral plane there were no limits.

The co,batants suddenly found a glowing figure in their midst, revealed as Jackson, swathed in glowing white and angelic wings fluttering from his back. His eyes opened, gleaming an electric blue, and he transfixed Jaffar's dark doppleganger with his gaze. "LEAVE, DEMON. YOU CAN NOT POSESS ME, AND WHEN THE MANY UNITE TO BECOME THE ONE, YOU CAN'T WIN. YOU WILL LEAVE THIS PLACE< OR I WILL SEAR YOU FROM HIS SOUL AND SHOW YOU AGONIES HELL HAS ONLY DREAMED OF."

Even as he spoke. energy flowed from Will's feet into the barren ground. Small springs and saplings slowly sprung up, and the astral sky overhead was beginning to clear. Anyone familiar with telepathy could tell what was happening; Will was lending some of his own serenity and peace of mind to heal the broken landscape that was Jaffar's. As he had said, on this plane there were no limitations. The being standing before the demonic entity and Krii'Ouse was a manifestation of everything that William Jackson was; his determination, righteous fury, his overpowering will, kindness, compassion, loyalty, dedication, strength, killer instinct, battle lust, unwavering spirit, and his faith. Everything that was bright and good within William Jackson was represented in this astral being, and it could not be defeated.

Skiaska's eyes were tired, weary, and worried. "Well, this is a great intro to the third part of the lunite attacks..." She groaned and held her head in pain. Going into someone's mind had consequences. A major headache was lucky.

As Dark Jaffar dissapeared Jaffar knelt down in pain breathing hard."Finally he's gone ....for now at least." Jaffar fell backwards in exhaustion. In reality Jaffar had just woken up."Uhh what the hell happened?" Before Jaffar could get out another word he leaned over the bed and threw up some blood.

"Jesus! What have I done." Jaffar brushed his hand up his face>"God I cannot tell you how sorry I'am. I could have killed someone. Someone could have died and it would have been all my....." Just then Jaffar passed out.

Jaffar rested a while and awoke yet again. Looking at everyone he smiled."Sorry I was really tired after all that. I hope you can forgive me for all this. I should have kept him in check. But instead I taunted him to much by being soo happpy lately. I should have been more careful."

Jaffar layed back on the bed."Damnit now I'm going to be bed ridden for weeks now.Ohh well a small price to pay for still being in control of my body." Jaffar looked over at everyone else."Im really lucky to have people who care about me. I never thought it would be like this again ever since my parents died." Jaffar smiled.

Will sighed in exhaustion as he eased himself out of Jaffar's mind. God, but his head hurt worse than it did after his last bender. "I'm glad that you're fine now, Jaffar. Now if you'll excuse me I'm going back to my bed."

Wheeling himself back to his room, he lifted himself back into the bed and smiled tiredly at the young Huntress still there. "Sorry about that. No need to worry, it's handled now. Ok, you wanted to know what this is? It's a laptop, a highly portable computer. I'm using it to do some research. Anything else you wanted to ask me?"
