RinoaHeartilly CeNedra Wood Hey. I've only been playing flute for about a year, but i've been playing music for nearly 12 years on clarinet. i'm a biology/zoology double major, and i do a lot of sciencey stuff, so playing music is what really keeps me grounded and sane. omg The Belgariad rocks whee So does The Mallorean. I can't believe I found someone that has actually read those books. It's my favorite series. I like you name =) yay! more eddings fans! yes. they do rock! and i love them more than almost any other series. you should come join the fantasy guild! ^_^

I'm so mad! I've been playing the flute since grade 6, so that's 6 years, and my sisters has only been playing it since September. Today she told me that my mom bought her a brand new flute! I've never even owned a brand new flute! And sometime at the beginning of grade 10 (I'm in grade 11 now), my shitty $50 flute totally broke... I can only play two notes on it, and they are both b flats. Since then I've been borrowing a friend's flute who graduated a long time ago. So, for my mom buying my sister a brand new flute, I am so very pissed!

I keep thinking that I posted in this thread somewhere..but I didn't. I think..Weeeell, err..I play flute and piccolo as 1st chair (section leader) and I participate in our high school and local college band. I'm in 11th grade by the waaayy, and I'll be ze drum-major next year >8O But that has nothing to do with playing the flute. o.O;
Aaaanyways, nice to see all of these other awesome-spiffy flute-playing people biggrin *attacks*

Anything unique happen lately? I no longer really have anyone to talk to in band. I can't really talk to the oboes, and my trumpet friend has to be homeschooled now because he was out for about a month with mono. Then my flute friend got mad at me for no reason. She has a really bad temper, but I'm sad now.
I went to symphony a few days ago, and I had been playing sixteenth note runs all day, but I think that had a bad effect on my playing. I couldn't even play eighth notes. I was playing them as triplets. stare Curses.

PetitChat I think I want a piccolo more than I want a flute anyway... it still burns my butter though. I've been wanting a piccolo for a while now. I asked for one for christmas and my parents thought I was insace xp Thats allright though. By the was I'm new if ya haven't already guessed it.
