"What is she to you ashke... I need to know."
Her eyes were soft, yet a depthless pain glittered in them. However, she refused to cry, the expression on her face was more than enough to act as a reflection of her hurt. Still... hadn't she wished him to be warm during those long nights?

"She's a friend. Just a friend."
His head craned up and back, as he stared.
He'd risked his life to save her... and reality as we know it in the process. Fought Chaos itself and lived to tell the tale.
So.. what was she?
Besides a former Goddess, and pregnat with the child of another diety.
And someone Vahn had slept.
"I never stopped looking for you.."

"Hmm. Remind me to thank this woman... for warming you when I could not..."
Did Sierra resent this so-called friend who'd replaced her in Vahn's heart even if for only a brief time? Hells yes... But at the same time, she was genuinely thankfull that her lover's loneliness and suffering had been eased, if only a little.

"I know I'm not exactly perfect...I know I let you down... but even so-- I wasn't going to stop, Sierra. I wasn't going to stop looking for you, even if when I finally found you, you'd have nothing but hate for me."
He turned and looked at her, hands resting on the bed as he leaned forward, his eyes dancing with a flame that hadn't been seen since the first time they met.
"I just.. wanted to see you.. finally see you. To meet you again... if it was to be the last time. Even despite the great distance.. what I felt for you never died. I know I'm lazy... I forget things a lot, I give you nothing but headaches with the way I act and you usually can't ever make heads or tails of how I'm feeling because of how I distant I tend to be... but you stick by me anyway.
Maybe your stubborn like that, but so am I. You could even say the ash worth of the candle lit by us is immeasurable beyond the number of miles that seperated us... despite the people that came between us..."

Even if he'd let her down he was only human in the end... A special one, but human none-the-less. And in her own way, so was she.
The blessing of being an empath, was she could tell he was sincere and not just smooth-talking. It gave a whole new meaning to 'heart fealt' apology. Her eyes seemed to refelct that dark flame of his, echoing it with a stirring of golden embers before blazing boldly onward.
She laces her fingers through his, scooching closer to him, pressing herself against his bare chest and just breathing in the scent of him. She smiles up at him, the warmth of her smile only outmatched by the intensity of her eyes.
"We're both stubborn fools, and may the gods love us for it dearheart. We are well matched in our stubborn natures and rightly so, otherwise this relationship of ours would have never have survived and bloomed in adversity such as this."

"Yea... yea, I suppose your right."
He breathed in a deep breath and let it out, before collapsing onto his back, so he was staring up at the ceiling now.
"I'm not gonna have to buy a minivan or something, am I?"

The elf grimaced at the thought, laying down next to her beloved, one arm draped across him, fingers still entwined. She pillows her head on his shoulder, pressing a soft kiss to his cheek.
"Heaven forbid I should ever get in one of those death traps let alone let my children in one!"
She viewed vehichles as a metal cage... to say she had a phobia was a slight understatement. It wasn't just vehicles though, put her inside a metal cage of any sorts and she would quickly grow unhappy.

"Just as well... not like I would ever actually drive one."
He closed his eyes, and felt a wave of weariness wash over him. He hadn't realized how long he'd been staying up so far...
"You still hungry?"

To be honest, she was more than exhausted. Fighting Ra'kar always wore her down... and she had that lovely emotional turmoil to tire her further. She didn't much feel like anything other than staying in the warmth of his embrace.
"I don't suppose that'll keep 'til morning for a good brunch would it? I hate to waste your cooking but I'm drained..."

Toxic Kunoichi "Ares, be my blade," she said simply, bowing as if to gesture a start to a battle... her cloak fell from her shoulder, gracing the dirt, and all hell broke loose. Two blades, a meter long, shot out at the gryph, seemingly guided towards him by the snake like chains that were attatched to Katia's gauntlets. The most peculiar instance was that the warrior had never touched them... in reality, she had the help of a familiar, two to be exact, and they would be most vital during this fight.
The blades twisted and turned, one aimed for Dan's knee, while the other arced in from above as to cut off that escape root. Katia knew these would not be succesful, but this did not matter... she was merely probing the defense of this man to find out if he would be a help for her in the future. +++Mm? +++The gryffe moved to the right and back at the same time, pushing off with the digitgrade foot of the left side and stabilizing himself with his right arm held diagonally to the ground. In the same movement, he'd push off yet once more as his wings swept out, likely buffeting the woman as he became airborne. Canceling his backward momentum, he'd hang in the air, approximately four metres above and in front of her head. +++"Interesting," he called down, the sound accompanied by a soft chuckle. "That's a new one. So you're a mage, then?"

Kai sighed ands was surrounded by a large orb of light. When the light dissipated, a slightly larger then human sized mecha was standing there. It was gleaming in the magnifcent sunlight."Ahh Yes, This is more like it!" Kai looked around, using his eye sensors t osurvey his surroundings.

"I am what I am."
She smiled up at the man, cracking her knuckles as she gripped the handles of either blade, smiling ever so slightly. Katia let one of the handles go, the blade hurtling groundward in a motion that propel her upward, where with her other blade, she could make the gryh... flightless. She went for one of the wings, the retracting chain aiming the blade subconciouslly towards the other wing. " You're lucky I'm only using Ares," she said as she began her decent to the earth, both of the blades back in her hands as she pointed the tip of either blade at Dan.

Lady Sierra To be honest, she was more than exhausted. Fighting Ra'kar always wore her down... and she had that lovely emotional turmoil to tire her further. She didn't much feel like anything other than staying in the warmth of his embrace.
"I don't suppose that'll keep 'til morning for a good brunch would it? I hate to waste your cooking but I'm drained..." "Eh.. whatever. Not like I'm the best cook in the world anyway." He closed his eyes once again, and suddenly was immersed in a reoccurence of memory. He was laying in his chambers, and there was Ashe, holding his head in her lap... he was about to head that very moment to join Victor and ride for Draeger.... "Eh..." He opened his eyes and sighed. Some things never changed.
