Eira - Post 9
Eira was put into a grand mood as Carminer told her that his business was booming and that he'd try to get her some of his best stock later. Giving him her best smile she said, "That sounds wonderful! Thank you!" She was quite looking forward to seeing what his 'best stock' consisted of. If it was his best though it was sure to go over well with her patrons, which meant more happy customers!
Turning back in the direction of the flying ships she found herself debating over the questions that Carminer posed. She had to wonder as well about what sorts of things that they had across the way where the strangers came from. She would have to offer up the strangers some rooms at her inn if they were planning to stay for at least a little while. Surely they would need to rest, resupply, and work on their ships before heading home, right? That meant a chance to make friends and get more info out them. Nothing worked better then a bit of flirting and plying with drink when one wanted some info. She just had to try to try to get a couple of the men from their group separated from the others so she could chat them up... a thought that nearly made her chuckle because it sounded a bit predatory.
Alright, before she went about her 'hunt' though she would need to find the others from her group, check in on them all, make sure they were alright. Once she was certain that all of them, Li especially, were alright, then she'd return. Giving Carminer a wave she said, "Let's chat soon when all the excitement starts to die down!"

Sol ll 8
At first Sol thought little of walking with the young woman; at least, until she looped her arm with his and his antennae bristled. They stood on end, at least as far as they could, and he tried to slip away without her noticing. However, as that would require a very noticeable display, one she might tell her mother about, Sol allowed it.
He had no desire to hear someone prattle on about their daughter's hurt feelings.
Or hear his papa prattle, for that matter.
But when he really looked at her, focusing on a face that was close enough for him to see details, he saw the fear. And that was enough for him to relax somewhat. He led her through the crowd, trying his best not to bump into anyone and clear a path for Masika. It wasn't that hard to do; even though many were distracted, it was hard to miss a tall, dark hybrid coming closer and many chose to scoot away from him.

Hargitt|| 5
This...was not promising.
That first spoken word, "You...", was accusatory enough to set the stage. Hargitt's hoary gaze looked elsewhere for a moment before slowly, almost, almost guiltily returning to Jakkoa's.
Then came the actual jab, of which Hargitt reached up on impulse to rub at his chest. "Better to have left you then to lose you." He groused. Hargitt canted his head back towards the fallen ship, "Melee fighters would have defended you." He didn't say what he was thinking; that he wasn't as strong in close combat, that he wouldn't have been able to do much for Jakkoa at close range. Of course he had wanted the other man closer, but-
-for reasons he wouldn't look into at the moment.
And it may have occurred to him that Jakkoa could have been worried about him. Why else would he be railing like that? Sure, he could have been concerned about his own safety, since Hargitt was supposed to be his guard, but there was just a little more fire in that then normal.
"Teenagers flew across the ocean to talk. They might have useful information; thought you might want to know."
