THE CURRENT DROP DAMAGE DONE TOTAL IS 438
Damn swooping monsters! Ignatius swatted at his head, attempting to get them to go away before they got at his most important wagon barrel. He had to get this to the bridge and hopefully he was going to get it to the bridge and not whammy it against the wall this time! That would be good. He wanted to help, not ... potentially hurt whatever their efforts were.
Thankfully, his concentrated effort of flailing at his head seemed to accomplish quite a bit, and he happily managed to get his wagon away from the flying crazy shadowlings before they took any bit off of him or his definitely important wagon barrel. He grinned victoriously, letting out a bit of a whoop that a knight next to him with quite the hair insisted on commenting on.
"Look," said Ignatius, simply, "if we don't have a little bit of fun and optimism with this, we'll be all doom and gloom and our insides might-as-well match the outside."
And with that, he slammed the wagon barrel forward with a loud, "WEEE!"

"Uuuuuuhhhhh huh." She didn't look very convinced. "Also you totally didn't hear that," she added with a huff, trying to shake off the sound of her own screams as she hefted a barrel. It was the closest thing she could grab, and Piper wasn't keen on trying for another bird so soon after that little fiasco.

Taking Mildred's hand towards the ramparts felt like a surge of energy was driving him. He refused to let go until he had to, out of sheer selfishness. But when they arrived, he found himself a wagon barrel almost instantly, and regrettably pulled his fingers away.
"Look at this!" He reached out to roll the barrel, clearly pleased with his find. Their job was to drop giant things onto the ramparts from above. Without having realized it, Robert and Mildred had picked the super fun job.

Ignatius' enthusiasm did not seem to particularly lend itself well to landing these wagon barrels correctly, though, and slamming it forward resulted in Ignatius slipping a little and chucking it at the wall again.
Oops.
At least it joined the pile of things that were sitting there, and in the end, that was what mattered, right? At least it was part of the pile and was assisting in the attempt to weigh down this damn bridge.
There was a momentary thought in his head of why they couldn't just cut this bridge down, or something. Were they lacking in weapons...?

SCORE. Finally, Piper was able to toss the barrel, chicken and all, in the right place. Even better, she managed to hit a sweet spot on the broken up drawbridge. She did herself a little victory dance and didn't feel ashamed about it, as too much had already gone wrong thus far for her; a little celebration couldn't hurt.

At the poofy haired knight's attempt to shrug off the fact that she had, indeed, just shrieked, Ignatius snorted. He, perhaps, snickered even harder at the fact that she called him Smiles. Smiles. Fair enough.
As he went to pick up another item, he turned towards the quickly retreating (and chicken-attracting) figure and shouted after her, "If we're all screwed anyway, might-as-well try to enjoy our last minutes in Camelot!"
As if on cue, Ignatius scooped up a barrel of distilled spirits and hauled it over his shoulder. It was too bad he couldn't afford to bust this thing open at the moment. They could probably all use it...

He was prepared to carry both his barrel, and her hay, plus the chicken that had just come to roost on her hay bale. In fact, when he lifted it, groaning dramatically in order to sound impressive, the entire thing weighed little more than the actual barrel itself. A hay bale and a chicken did little to nothing to change that - but he tried to make it look like it did, to be impressive!
