Kya's somewhat lengthy explanation made Kaisen believe that she'd almost felt challenged from the questions he'd asked; her tone had become somewhat apprehensive, and even her body language communicated her distaste for his questions. Was it so terrible of him not to have a clear idea of her plans? Did she expect someone of his caliber to automatically understand the plans she had? If so, the woman was being entirely unrealistic. Regardless, he stood there for a short while, patiently listening, waiting for her to get to the focal point of her dialogue. After a short while, there it was; she didn't feel quite as diplomatically as he did about the leaf. And this 'escort mission' seemed more like a militaristic play. A facade intended to gauge the military strength of Konohagakure, and once they find a weak point, destroy them. Although it was possible, the Spider King didn't exactly care for the idea. With the impending threat of the Guenire family, taking away the strength of one of the forces that could combine against it wasn't exactly the most intelligent of ideas. "If we go there, Kya...we can't destroy them. Even if the power of their village isn't akin to ours, their military might will still be necessary in defeating the northerners. To burn the candle at both ends, we have to go about this a different way..." He paced for a short while, reflecting on some of his previous experiences with parties from the leaf...specifically Kleine.
"The Karnata Dynasty is extremely well-rooted in the Leaf Village. The Heiland family--the likes of which has nearly swallowed that dynasty in its entirety--is one of the most powerful families from the north. You know that. Challenging the Leaf Village in an improper way will bring about the wrath of the entire Heiland bloodline. I have dueled with Shinsei Karnata before, and though he was forced to retreat...it would be foolish to assume that he's the same power he was before. More than anyone else, I fear the individual power he possesses. And as such, I feel it would be appropriate for us to arm ourselves adequately before doing anything that would invoke Shinsei's fury. Before that, we must become stronger as a whole." It was at that point that he turned to Kasumo. His Sharingan scanned over her, his eyes scanning the flow of her chakra...and he noticed something. A peculiar flow of chakra he once possessed in himself. "And one way in particular is for us to...share power with some of our other villagers."
Kaisen would then look into her eyes, a polite smile playing on his lips as he spoke. "I can tell, just by looking at you; the ice element exists in you." Placing his hand on her shoulder, Kaisen would continue to speak. "You should know, there exists a method for you--and others with bloodlines that combine elements--to share their power with others. Unlike others who would seek to borrow your power, however...I can make a trade. I know you are a weapons user; that much is obvious. But how often can you say that your peers receive specific instruction? How many of your peers are passed down specific, powerful techniques from those who came before them?" Kaisen would continue to speak, with determination and a strange bit of wisdom in his voice. "You can become so much more. With my ability to use ice restored, I could teach you jutsu that would put even the strongest of Ice users to shame. All I need is a fraction of that power, and I will show you how to use that ice to devastating effect. What do you say?"

Suddenly shy from her entrance into the Mizukage's office as Kya's smile caused a weird hiccup in her chest. Her body leaned forward against her own desk, resting her head on the palms of her hands as that deadly smile of hers was sent straight for Kasumo. Her tongue traveled over her lips as their eyes connected in that short moment. Words that carried on that velvet tone of hers in which caused a faint blush to trail over the flawless pale skin of Kasumo's cheeks. Her eyes breaking from Kya's gaze as she forced her attention else where which happened to be on Kaisen. Introducing the two as Kya's hand motioned towards him. "Greetings." her voice faint like a droplet of water. Hearing the motion of Kya who stood from her desk and looked out over the village her gaze would return to the lady Mizukage as Kasumo watched the breaking of those percoius gems and the control she had over them. Taking note of the sharingan that was suddenly visible to those within the room.
Katerina Natalia Strekovsky seemed to be Kya's full name. A beautiful name for a amazing woman. Her words carried an accent as she spoke her name but from where Kasumo wasn't sure. Kya would step closer to Kaisen as they seemed to be having a more private conversation all of a sudden even if she was still able to hear the words spoken. Smirking in Kasumo's direction as Kya spoke of a very cold place. Ha. Cold. She got it. Listening to the rest of Kya's story and as she told this tale she would turn towards her desk, opening it as papers scattered everywhere. Files across the room. Photographic placed across the floor noticing her own along a few others. It was maddening that the Mist managed to remain as it was with such a poor Mizukage's behind their desk but unaware how bad the situation truly was not being the level to learn such information. Stacking the clipboards on the desk as Kya stood behind it.
Eyes that held an icy blue pigment turned in the direction of the wooden door that allowed entrance into the office. Chilling eyes when a smile was not present on her face as her attention was brought to another body that had entered the room. Kasumo shifted her weight between her left and right foot, unmoving. Not knowing this female but she appeared to be a chuunin seeking a mission. 'Why didn't she go to the mission board?' the thought crossed her mind but Kasumo remained silent with her thoughts unlike in the past. There was no filter between her brain and her mouth but unknown to her one had started to form. It seems as of late her former childish personality was slowly slipping away. Was she finally growing up? Kasumo was rather young for the amount of skill she possessed and as certain events enfolded around her the young Kunoichi was shaping into the woman she was meant to be. A cold gaze on the chuunin but her words were meant for the Mizukage and her answer not one expected. Bringing a chuunin to the leaf was that wise? Those frigid eyes turned to look at the girl as Kasumo was not pleased with the sudden suggestion and it was nothing personal but just an uneasy feeling she had.
Kya walked off to her closest as she grabbed a hat and let the string hang over her shoulders. Asking the group if they held any comments or concerns but it seemed Kasumo wouldn't have to say much with Kaisen in the group. Remaining silent as he spoke but took notice in his words when he reached towards the end 'I feel it would be appropriate for us to arm ourselves adequately before doing anything that would invoke Shinsei's fury. Before that, we must become stronger as a whole.' Turning towards Kasumo at this point. His Sharingan scanned over her athletic and well trained body as she wasn't freaked out by his actions but simply wondered why? Personally she thought of herself as nothing special. Strong maybe but that was about it. His gaze shifted towards direct eye contract with Kasumo as she was suddenly taken off guard. A polite smile playing across his face however; speaking. A hand placed on top of her small shoulder as Kaisen kept on. It wasn't a secret that Kasumo had the ability to use ice but it was slightly alarming that someone she just met figured her out with a single glance but she listened. He was offering her one hell of a deal. His words carried determination and wisdom within his voice as he spoke. Restore his ability to use the ice element and in return he would teach her jutsu that would put even the strongest of Ice users to shame. Slowly a nod would escaped her head as silky blue locks followed along with her motions. "Sounds like a fair exchange." agreeing to his offer.

It's as if the moment she walked in, her fate was already set in place. Kya was speaking, seemingly about her past and how she grew up. The other guy replied to her; and in her own comprehension of what was going on was terribly slim. She had no idea what was going no, no recollection of been earlier explained. However when her kage gave her that mission, she would be a fool to shoot it down. Her hand moved slowly to wipe the hair from her face, as she stood there almost rigid. Tsubaki should most definitely go with her. She had no other choice, especially since she was aligned to Mist Village at that moment, and nothing in her wanted that to change. They were powerful, and had the least amount of heart ache of all. She could heal to her hearts content, experiment on things to improve other beings. Kya was definitely her choice, and she would follow her to the end. "Yes Ma'am." She said cheerfully.

It costs no chakra to release, as it's considered a tool. One second the space in the office would be normal, and in the next it would slightly warp, in its place Lucius would appear. He looked slightly rough coming from the recent battle but was still moderately happy that they had won. Even though he was in the office, Lucius hadn’t looked up at who he knew would be in the Kage’s seat; Lady Kya. Finally looking up, Lucius took in the brown hair and the flawless ceramic skin.
“Hello Lady Kya,” Lucius mentioned moderately softly. “I must say it’s nice to see you again. The last kage was nice, though unquestionably weak. He was scared of any village, scared of giving the blades up, I agree that there are times to be afraid but those were not the time. There is also the fact that he was ridiculous at times.” Lucius shrugged slightly, a look of boredom entering his eyes. That was the problem, the old Kage bored him. He was easy to read, easy to predict, there was no way for him to surprise anyone, and he was childish. “Now, I think I will enjoy this village much more with you as Kage.” Even though Lucius was excited, he felt a slight sense of nervousness in his veins. Kya was nice when she wanted to be, but at other times she could be a monster. With his mind flickering to the economic and political state of the village, Lucius decided that this was the best thing for them at the moment.

Kya's eyebrow rose as Kaisen started speaking. She hadn't given any inclination that she was going to go to Leaf and do anything violent. She had already conceeded to him that allying with Leaf was a good idea, so those words were almost unnecessary. He also didn't need to tell her about Kleine. She knew him fully well, perhaps better than most in some ways. On top of that, she had information Kaisen didn't, and wouldn't obtain anytime soon about herself and Kleine. So when he began speaking of him and his dynasty she waved him off. Kasumo's reactions were as expected, even to Kaisen's words. Kya waited for them to finish, and decided she would make a decree. It can wait until later, for now we should head out. I am eager to visit my former suboordinate at Bai Don. I haven't been there in quite some- she'd be cut off by the warping of space around herself and the sudden appearance of a man she considered a friend. Kya narrowed her eyes at his words, first, but then laughed a little bit at what he said. As you know... weakness is punishable by death in any regime i insert myself into. At any rate, however you come at a good time. Were taking a trip to leaf on a mission of diplomacy. I'll give you details on the way, but I expect you'll want to join since you get to meet the Shogun of the land of Fire and have a hand in the negotiations as well. We leave at once, Ryukyu san, and I'll be leading your protection detail on the way. She would wait no longer, very eager to get this show on the rode. When we reach the country, we'll form a diamond perimeter. I'll be at the right of Lucious, Kaisen to the left using our occular prowess and my tremor sense to create a a wedged field of view to either side and ahead of him as well as a general view of the entire immediate area. We will maintain about ten feet of distance from him. As a combat medic... Kya said pointing to Tsubaki, You shall bring up the rear guard and stay as close as possible to Lucius. As for Kasumo, your particular skillset will work well with Lucius at your support, but you will be charged with stopping any frontal assault with crowd control from the wind and water techniques in your arsenal; just enough for Kaisen and I to dispatch them. Kya cleared her throat. The goal is to keep the Shogun safe above all else, keep that in mind as we progress. Let's get moving. She wouldn't wait any longer, no more nonsense and posts not being fully read. She would push open the door and start the walk to the gates.

As Lucius spoke, she had to agree with everything he said. Even if it was a brief while, she joined the village when the... whatshisface... was still ruling. She was slightly scared to join, especially since a weak leader only ensued weak followers. She couldn't be weak, she needed to protect. Kya explained in great detail how the formation would be, involving the shogun this time and adding more security to him. She understood why, not wanting the man to be injured at all. She was sure to double check her medical pouch before they left, and she simply followed Kya to the gates.

Lucius’s current attitude slightly changed when Kya began to speak about her political wants with the leaf. Nodding his head, his thoughts rushing at a thousand miles an hour, Lucius thought about what he should do within the Leaf though he entirely agreed that he should be concerned about the Fire Shogun. “Yes Kya, I would like to go. I need to talk about numerous small pesky things with the Leaf Shogun. Discussing what to do after the death of the silhouettes is also a top priority now.” Lucius became pensive as he recalled another handful of business problems he had to deal with. Sighing, Lucius formed a wood clone to his right. Turning to face it, Lucius planted a scroll in its outstretched palm and formed a few seals around the clone to protect it. Sending it off to talk to a few merchants and end off at his house. “I have a seal outside the Leaf, I can transport us there in a matter of seconds if that is alright with you all.” Lucius suggested this as a safer way for him as well as a quicker way to travel to the Leaf Village.
"Everyone gather around," Lucius would say to draw everyone to a closer group. If the group was able to condense and agree on the task, Lucius would focus and a swirling field would appear. This field would take everyone and teleport them in front of the Leaf Village Gates.

A tall man strode into the Mizukages office glancing around longing. "I am supposed to grab a headband before I can actually begin my conquest." The man mused looking around for the kage but for ome reason having an issue finding the Mizukage.
There was something different about this man, He seemed to cast an aura that was entrancing. He was not outwardly trying to gain attention but somehow he would appearing extremely attractive to all who gaze upon him. Even his smell was intoxicating and it would permeate through the room subtly but the haunting aroma would certainly point to the newcomer. His orange eyes intently gazed at the Kages desk having only one goal in mind and wanting nothing more than to accomplish it.
The tall man stood just past the threshold awaiting to see who this Kage was and aiming to get his headband as soon as possible.
"Can I help you with something kid?" Said a man from the doorway. In the absence of the village leadership, he had been left behind to serve as a mediator and overseer of all day to day operation, and was more than capable of helping the new recuit.
Ash turned and looked upon the man. "Yeah I just need a headband and then I can begin my training." Ash looked a bit disappointed, this man seemed pretty much like a blank page and Ash was rather bored with him already so he would not try to use his bloodline on this one. Also he seemed quite compliant and almost nice so there was no real reason to work the old charm.
Helim walked into the Mizukage's office eager to start his training. All he had to do now was go pick up his headband. He thought about his family and how he wanted to make them proud once he became a strong ninja. He slowly made his way further into the office to find someone.
