 Kazumi nodded and looked at Ikuto, "Help her get her mind under control cat." She ordered. She then looked back at Damion. She carefully moved Damion's hand off of his chest and started carefully taking his shirt off. She jumped a bit as Damion twitched then moved his hand onto her arm to stop her.Damion faded back into consciousness to see Kazumi attempting to take off his shirt without hurting him, he assumed this was to take care of the wound. He twitched a bit out of pain and moved his hand onto Kazumi's arm. He said something, but it was so low that nobody could understand it. He forced himself to get up a bit and take off his shirt himself, revealing an open wound diagonally across his chest, gone straight through it. He then fell back down.Ikuto hissed a bit at Kazumi when she gave him an order, but he knew that he had to help Holo. He used his mind powers to help Holo sort out her mind. He finished after Damion had fallen back down.Kazumi looked at Damion's wound. She muttered to herself, "That wound..." Some memories flooded back to her from before she joined the FireClaw pack. She looked sad all of a sudden, "Damion..." She looked at Holo and said sadly, "I don't think that's gonna work..." It seemed as though tears were forming in her eyes.

"Immobilize the body, uh, wrap it up, tightly. The blood flow needs to cease or slow down." Holo still sounded distracted, but less chaotic. Looking at the size of Damion's wound she muttered to herself. "How was this handled back then?" she questioned as she kept sorting through memories. "Your main concern, stop the bleeding. Ikuto we need Strongheart here, she's a healer." she said "We need to know if there is anything abnormal about this cut." she said looking towards Damion's unconscious form.

Kazumi looked at Damion and muttered, "It was meant for me..." She shook her head and looked at Holo. She said, "We don't need Strongheart. This wound can only be healed by a specific type of magic." She sighed and looked at Damion. She bit her lip and then used her powers to move the blood around. She made the blood glow and formed it into a sword. She said, "No matter what happens Holo, you can't interrupt it or he will die. This is the work of blood magic and must be undone with blood magic." She then plunged the blood sword into Damion's wound, and moved it in the same way that the wound was made.Damions eyes widened as Kazumi plunged the blood sword into his wound. He screamed out in pain as she moved it across his chest diagonally. His and Kazumi's eyes glowed with blood for a few minutes, before all of the blood moved to be next to all of them, and turned into a man.The mysterious man said with a smirk, "I told you our paths would cross again and that would be the day I get what I want. You didn't believe me did you, Kazumi?"

Holo turned just as the blade pierced Damion. If she looked, she knew she'd do something stupid. She winced hearing Damion's pain filled screams and shuddered. She turned when she heard a new voice and stared with wide eyes. "what the.." she said quietly.

Kazumi looked at the mysterious man. She growled at him and said, "You're not getting what you want."The man laughed. He said, "Then I suppose you're not getting what you want." He went over to Damion and kneeled down. He moved the back of his right hand down Damion's cheek and said, "Poor thing, looks even worse off than before."Kazumi growled at the man again. She barked, "Don't touch him you filthy b*****d!" She went to claw into the man's hand, but was stopped by a blood leash sort of thing going around her hand. She growled at the man again.The man smirked, "Don't forget your place Kazumi. You are but a filthy mutt that needs to be tamed and taught some manners."Kazumi growled at the man again and almost yelled angrily, "What the hell do you want, Balan?!"The man now revealed to be named Balan sighed and rolled his eyes. He said, "What do I want? I told you this all those years ago, but you refused and this happened. It wasn't the intention, but it still worked nevertheless."Kazumi glared at Balan. She said in a calmer tone, "You got what you wanted then. What do you want now?"Balan laughed then said in an amused tone, "Oh that's right, I did didn't I?" His tone got more serious now, "Well, it didn't work. Sure, it delayed the inevitable, but it didn't stop it." He looked at Holo and said, "It happens a different way now."Kazumi sighed in frustration at Balan's roundabout nature. She said, "So what do you want?! Just spit it out already!"Balan smirked and said while still looking at Holo, "A life for a life, a death for a death. I want the girl."

The entire time the red man talked, Holo eyed him. 'Balan....that name...' she thought. When Balan turned to look at her, she stared him straight in the eye looking for a sign, a flicker, something. When he said he wanted a life for a life, Holo's eyes hardened, no emotion crossed her face as she continued to stare into his eyes. "A life for a life. What if no life is given?" she asked in a detached voice, still staring him down.

 Balan had an evil tint of joy in his eyes. He stated simply, "Then life isn't given on either side." He smirked, unsure if Holo actually understood what he was saying.Kazumi looked at Balan with a glare. She said coldly, "You think I'd be selfish enough to have my fireball live while someone else he loves gets taken from him?"

Holo stared and bared her teeth "Something is missing." she hisses through clenched teeth "He has a meaning, another way! GAH! What is it!" she says frustrated "Your getting at something, but what!?" she asked herself as she kept eyeing Balan "Your playing with words."

Balan simply ignored Holo. He seemed to be enjoying this very much. He looked at Kazumi and said, "He's not your fireball anymore my dear Kazumi."Kazumi froze at Balan's words. 'He's right.... It's been too long for Damion to still be my fireball... Far too long... He probably doesn't even care about me like that anymore... He's moved on... It's obvious... He gave up on me remembering... He..' She thought to herself. She looked at Holo with a broken expression. She said lowly to herself, finishing the thought, "He's found someone else..."

Holo stopped and looked between Balan and Kazumi. She thought over the last few minutes and stared at Kazumi bewildered. "Not even," Holo told her with a slight shake of her head "What you think and what is real are two different things." she said looking off to the side "He does not love me." she sighed remembering her confession to him and not getting one back. "We are simply friends that like to play around."

Kazumi smiled slightly, tears forming in her eyes. She said with a cracking voice, "That's what I thought at first too. He's a complicated person, you know." She sighed and shook her head. She looked at Damion. She stood up and looked at Balan. She said, "Heal him, heal him completely."Balan rolled his eyes, "And what am I going to get in return?"Kazumi looked at Damion again. She was kind of hoping that he wouldn't ask that question, though she knew he would. She closed her eyes for a moment or two, then looked back at Balan. She said, "You get what you wanted in the first place. Me."

Kazumi sighed and looked at Holo. She said, "His other price is you, didn't you hear him? He's afraid of us fulfilling our destinies for whatever reason." She looked at Balan again and said, "This is the price I'm willing to pay. Heal Damion, heal him completely, so the wound will never open again, and you get me in return." She looks at Damion, biting her lip. 'It'll be worth it, even if I don't get to see him again, or even talk to him for one last time..."Balan mused over this idea. He then nodded in agreement, "Very well then." He looked towards Damion. He moved the blood with nothing but his eyes and made all of it go back into Damion. He heals the wound by doing this. He takes an extra minute to make sure that the wound won't open again.

Grabbing Kazumi, Holo slams her into a wall "What did you do!" She shouts angrily, teeth bared "You gave up, that's what!" Holo shouted in her face punching the cave wall. Holo sighed and looked at the girl in front of her "He could have remembered you. I could have helped him remember." she whispered sadly "The two of you...you could have been happy again."

Kazumi blinks. She said, "Why would you help me? You like him, don't you?" She shook her head. She said, "That doesn't matter. Even if he remembers me, he likes you too, so it would just make things complicated. It's better this way." She smiles, though it's obvious that she doesn't want to go. She looks over at where Balan was standing to see him gone. She blinked and muttered, "Where'd he go?..."
