what happened:
Illo
In an open part of the sparring area, there appeared from nothing Illo, already seated in lotus and waiting. He held his power steady at one percent, and quietly meditated before his sparring partner arrived. He didn't know how long she would be, or even if she was coming, but the monk didn't care. Just the idea of having a new sparring partner was excitement enough.
After a descent amount of time had lapsed between her walk from Tao Residence. Misty would spot the monk already beating her to get here. A devious smirk would peek from her lips while she got herself more comfortable by removing her cardigan. The more light she could be for the encounter the better. Saving any unnecessary equipment in her backpack she made a few stretches.
-❝ Well you are fast, I'll give you that... ❞-
After the warm up was done she jumped into the sparring block just few meters from Illo.
-❝ But it will take more than speed to outplay me. ❞-
Fisting her palm, she released a small shockwave. Most likely performing a salute position while bragging of. Truth was that she was eager to spar as well. She didn't knew why but the boiling sensation to compare strengths with another person had been bothering over and over and since her boyfriend wasn't around she couldn't get her head to think of anything else.

Without further presentations she dashed straight against the monk aiming to connect her fist against Illo's face.
Illo let a smirk show on face as Misty seemed quite ready to get the fight started. Instead of getting up, or opening his eyes for that matter, Illo just sat there. It looked like he was going to be hit square on the jaw, but a hand swiftly rose at the last instant to catch Misty's wrist. The monk sighed
-❝ Tch! ❞- Misty didn't loose momentum after the first attempt being blocked as the second fist rose beneath him attempting to perform an uppercut. After Eva's alteration on her, mixed with the training she went through while being kidnaped by Scarlet, her body was far stronger than her original self. thus used to actual combat. Why she had a few aces beneath her sleeves.

That's still not good enough.
Illo remained seated for this attack as well. He did let go of her wrist though, and when the next blow came he put his elbow up instead to block. He was counting on it being strong enough to move him. He rolled with its momentum until his other hand was on the ground, and his feet were pointed at Misty's trunk like a loaded spring. He unleashed both feet at Misty, and with all that potential energy stored up it would be like getting kicked by a kangaroo.
-❝ *Cough* ❞- The brunette's eyes widened as she received the monk's kick feeling how her body was starting to move upwards while she still watched Illo on the same eye level.The monk could either see the surprise in her face or remain with eyes mystically shot down. Whatever the case was, within the thing lines of momentum between both brawlers that within all those body expressions of brute force forging their way against one another that a gentle caress reached for the monk's cheeks, first a hand, then the other. Both with such a feminine delicacy in fractions of seconds. Then, Illo could see how the face of the brunette regained that feminine look, almost alluring compared to the rather fiendish expressions she carried with herself. Soon, her face was above his while her body was turning upside down because of the force of impact. Then, the gentle hands lowered their touch jus bellow the jaw of the monk. Then it all started making sense. While it was true she couldn't avoided the force of impact at this distance, it didn't mean she couldn't use it as well. And using the momentum of the kick, soon her back will meet his and use her momentum to throw the already airborne monk against the floor, but mostly away from her as she still had to ged her breathe back from her previous encounter with the monk. Should the throw be successful, the monk would earn himself a couple of bruises, and probably bounce a few steps further from the intended destination.
it's okay it happens and aww arent they cute while sparring? XD

Illo
Illo was swung around in the air by the throw and headed for the ground, but he did little to stop it. He started by tucking his arms in to his chest. It sped up his rotation, and when he hit the ground Illo appeared to skip across the surface. The force was well- transferred, or so it seemed, as Illo got up with only some scuff marks on his robe. You took that kick just to cop a feel of my face? Haha, you are bold, aren't you? The monk looked like he was having fun... That might make things far more intense.
He came at her with only a few large steps. When he reached her he threw out a few jabs to test his reach.
-❝ oh, don't tell Melani and we'll be okay ❞- She replied with a wink. Of course she was just teasing the monk. She would rather laugh but she had to save her air. After all the first exchange almost left her breathless. As Illo took the initiative this time, she watched closely as the jabs fell against her. Making use of her flexible body she started with backflips making some space. However with just the third backflip she sprung a drop kick against Illo once he was getting used to her withdrawing.
Illo certainly was. He felt a little guilty in pressing the pace of the match, but things had been much too relaxed since Melani and his training at Naraiki's place.
Misty was a wily one, though, and this pleased the monk. However, her drop kick would only land a glancing blow on one of the mystic's shoulders, as he was coming at her with a sideways stance. It was the best way to throw jabs.
The kick itself managed to tun the monk and open his chest up a little, but since it was a drop kick he wasn't worried about Misty capitalizing on the opening. Instead he used the turn to start a spin, and from that spin came a left roundhouse (he was leading with his right jab, which would suggest he was a right handed boxer).
After the attack's success or failure, the monk would have a moment to speak again.
... You aren't bad, but I don't think you can keep this up for much longer. Look at how hard you're breathing...

Minimizing the damage taken she was set aside to have once more a descent space between them. -❝ Well you are certainly stronger than you look, I'll give you that ❞- While in truth she was surprised by that. She wasn't going to just show it to her. That would be saved for the after match. On the meantime she started with some breathing exercises to ease her takes once the monk commented about her breathing just now. -❝ What are you talking about? I'm just getting started. ❞- After regulating her breath, she would gladly continue with the spar as it would seem Illo would take a lot more than she anticipated to take him down. Then again, unlike Illo, she was more of a street fighter than an actual artist in combat. Which would explain her obvious disadvantage. However, being prideful like Eva but also unaware of how to properly measure your opponent like any normal martial artist could. She wasn't going ot give up that easily or acknowledge Illo as stronger than her until she confirms it by herself. -❝ Here goes! ❞- Here was a little technique she made on her own as she started darting bouncing attacks. Every hit she should land wouldn't deal as much damage as she could but rather use the force of impact to retrieve the attacking limb, creating a momentum flow. Not as much damage but was rather a flashy move. True, it would take a martial artist to evaluate her for her to notice that.
Heh, well, as long as I can give you a good workout that's all that matters. The monk said with a smile. He wondered just what she was up to. It was her turn, after all, and Misty decided to make full use of it in charging straight at the monk.
She started in with some moderately impressive punches and kicks, withdrawn with accelerating pace. The monk kept blocking to oblige this tactic; if he had started off by dodging Misty's strikes there wouldn't be any momentum to be gained. That, and he wanted the fight to be enjoyable for both of them in this friendly sparring match.
Not a bad technique. I've seen someone do something very similar once before, he said while blocking, an unflustered demeanor about him.
However...! Illo picked a punch that was coming in fast, one that looked like it could surprise a fighter, and instead of blocking let down his guard so it could come right through. Illo then demonstrated the results of his training in the area of speed. In the time that it took for the punch to reach him, Illo zip into Misty's reach and throw a powerful and fast straight right at her jaw. She would either have to take the hit, or, if she's fast enough, could otherwise deal with it, but either way would derail her momentum.
Misty was indeed taken by surprise by the sudden assault. And as such, would have to pay the price from lowering her guard while engaging. Sent back for quite a descent distance, the girl would have to pause a moment since she couldn't breathe properly due to the sudden impact. That and during her training she was more used to take the burden of battle on her torso rather than her head and neck. Why they proven to be more effective than the first time Illo knocked her air out. Holding a hand over the area where the burden was held she started massaging the bruise before a few chuckles would barely made it out of her lips. -❝ Don't look down on me. ❞- Misty would then attempt to normalize her breathing once more. But since she wasn't used to deal with that particular pain her movements were rather slowed in comparison to her first tries. None the less she wouldn't pull back and attempt to take on the monk once more. But Illo should know by now that the fight was over as she couldn't keep up with momentum like she used to. Instead Illo would get a rather poor kick towards him. Not that it lacked strength but the dexterity of her was rather poor than her previous engages.
