Bella finally dropped back down to the floor, and her head turned quickly when Rowly snagged her attention. She looked wild, and out of control, covered in squid bits and absolutely livid. So she stormed over to him, and grabbed him hard on each arm.
"Rowly." She growled, glaring up at him intensely.
There was a moment of silence, where Rowly might have wondered if this was the end for him, before she pulled him down and wrapped her arms around his head. Her lips smacked against his, an almost cruel kiss that felt more like a claim than some sentimental mush.
She pulled away, just an inch, and grinned, showing perhaps a little too much teeth.
"Wanna go steady?"

"No no no no no no - " Selene gasped as she heard, and felt Arcana near her. A blush kissed her cheeks, but she grinned so happily she felt like she would burst. "Arcie! You're all right!" She heard her own voice, and hushed it quickly. "I thought you were in trouble, I was so worried.." One hand dropped against his shoulder gently, her fingers splayed out flat. "You should stay here, with me and Moira. It is safe here. Please, I need you to be safe." There was a begging in her eyes, a wordless importance. And then, it became clear - "I saw Dis, it is not safe out there." Clearly, the monster wasn't her biggest worry. She hugged one of Moira's legs, and looked up at her. "Moira will protect us! She is amazing."

Cricket passed a look to Selene. "Good, then Moira can carry you around, yes~?" she suggested as she brushed herself off. The suggestion itself was a bit more hopeful than it was vindictive or petty.
Just some hope she wouldn't actually have to FEARheal or something. Maybe.

AyeAvast hopefully it doesn't move too fast since I'm heading to bed now. will reply tomorrow as long as we're still in the tunnels! Blood...right she was a vampire after all she would have been attracted to the blood. No wonder she was able to navigate so well while they were running towards this monster. Oh how he wished now that he just skipped out on the whole booth thing. "Blood...yeah I'm...well I was hoping it was the monster...but...I have a feeling we might be finding we're a student or so short...perhaps even a professor...or better yet a gnome..."Acher wasn't particularly violent, he was actually quiet neutral on most things but there were some students, professors and especially gnomes he wouldn't have minded seeing get a little banged up by a monster. Nothing too serious of course but something small enough to cause the mental anguish they so easily caused on him, even if it was something as simple as being in the right place at the right time. Smiling at her as he squeezed her hand more for his reassurance, "You like this adventure stuff huh?"

He jumped at her excitement but blushed with pleasure that she had been worried about him. Though that was a little unsettling. Pleased she was worried? Shouldn't he be sad if she was worried about him? Something told him that he was thinking to much about it before nodding with her.
"I lost you and was worried too but your a smart ghoul so I knew you wouldn't find anymore trouble!" Arcana nodded his more, like a bobbling Arcana head before he froze.
She was willingly touching him without him offering his body as a support for hers. His face was torn between omg flush or omg she's touching me or just outright pleased and smug feeling.
Arcana was NEVER smug.
"I...I will try very hard to be safe." He took her hand, kissing the knuckles and then setting it down because it embarrassed him thoroughly. "but...Because you said so Selene. But if its for you, I will put myself in trouble so you stay safe okay." He nodded as if THAT was important to convey to her.
"Don't make eye contact with him okay." He clinged to Moira's other leg and looked up at her, "You be careful TOO Moira, otherwise Dis will get you."

Oh May, come here. Let him hold you, just for a bit. Sadly, the block that was Tex was in the way. Oh Tex... he could do you to, there was enough of him to go around.  .. Except Selene couldn't actually move. So instead, she just kind of shook like a leaf when he kissed her hand. "I.. I.. I.. sssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss..."Selene had checked out for the day.

One massive fist slammed hard into the other male's gut--not because Tex had planned it, but because you just didn't DO that to a guy when that guy didn't--it was just-- "I do apologize," he said, after spitting to the side. "I was caught off guard. Some of my... rougher habits from my younger days kicked in."

"Yeah, problem being what comes afterwards. You just just throw a giant squid at people without something else happening because of it." That was how stories worked - there was always a rhyme or reason to it, and she just had to figure out what it was.
And then Dis's behavior made her more sickened than the smell and feel of squid muck. Callie did not like that look in his eyes. "Let's shove off somewhere else before he makes a move," she muttered to the boil, trying to slide away.

Punched, the vampire coughed. "No offense taken." He still winked at May, making a call me signal with his hand before he saw someone else. Dabir and Callie
Aw yeah..Walking over he smiled. "Can this twosome become a threesome and if not, please, continue, I always love a good show." Wink wink.

Arcana's eyes widened as Selene.....Rolled back. Her body was stiff. He caught her before she hit the ground regardless of them sitting on it and placed his ear next to her mouth. "She's....She's still breathing!" Arcana flushed and flailed and just....His eyes caught on the Ghost healer he knew, Cricket and flailed at her.
"Cricket...Cricket. I think Selene has gone into post traumatic shock or something. Or she....or she froze up or parlyzied or something." He was gushing at the ghoul, carrying Selene over to the ghost to see if she could figure out what was wrong. "Maybe the pain from her ankle is causing her to be like this!?!?!" Regardless of the reaper also being a healer, Arcana didn't know how to fix or explain all things.
"Can...Can you help me? I don't want her to be hurt." QQ

Norvie totally wasn't hiding behind a piece of debris the entire time.
He was no coward!
He totally hadn't nearly peed himself at the sight of flailing tentacles and lashing attacks and terrifying barrages of Fear and violence.
His ears perked out from behind the boulder before he finally deemed it safe enough to poke his head out. "Is... everyone alright?" He smiled weakly.
"We sure showed him!" He punched the air, leaping up once he was sure the thing was dead, "With a quick hwah hwah Shwaah! Right, guys?"

“True. Maybe we can get out before that happens,” he agreed with a nod.
Dabir gave Dis a poker face when the vampire kissed the reaper boil. Yeah. That wasn’t going to be Dabir. No Jacking way it was going to be him. He whispered to Callie, “Sounds like a plan.” Dabir gently pushed her away from Dis before the vampire could notice their getaway, but it was too late.
The catoblepas just glared and uttered a very firm, "No."

May just twitched in the background, for a moment, and then went indignant. "DIS YOU CAN'T JUST JACKING KISS PEOPLE ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY HAVE G- WELL YOU JUST CAN'T." Tex was already on it though, punching his stomach for her.
He was already apologizing, but just in case she ran forward and grabbed his arm, even though she was breathing far too heavily for it to be normal. Her hands were shaking even as she pulled him back. "T-Tex," she said, clinging to his arm, "Okay time to stop n-now. Let's just-"
Whoops there she went. She was now putting all her weight on Tex, clinging to his arm like a floating device. "T-Tex help Jack help the tentacle's going to-"

He was happy to see Bella and terrified all at once. Bella looked like she was about to probably shoot lasers at any given time from her eyes. Yeah. This wasn't going to be good. But reguardless the boil straightened up, nervously smiled, and took up stance.
"..Yessss?" His voice was a little smaller then usual. The urge to wince was there but the were penguin fought it best he could. But then he was pulled down and he could fight it no more, the wince came. Only a hug and lips were felt.
Rowly relaxed and gave her a very confused look like a puppy.
Steady.
She wanted to go.
He blinked.
His mouth opened.
"Yes."
