But upon seeing her the wolf merely growled..well perhaps it was the way she had rushed towards it, slowing down Zurine tried once more to seem intimidating and strong.

But the wolf wasn't having any of it and before she could get any closer it bounded off into the woods again - stubborn willful animal that it was. Frowning at it retreating form Zurine set off to see what else she could come across.

((lol it does seem to be popular with the dice this morning))
It seemed that her more confident and controlled approach had worked, the wolf at the very least did not try to growl, bite or run away and Zurine decided to consider that a success for the moment, now if she could just convince the creature to come with her..all would be good!

The boil stood up tall and threw his lasso like he meant it. The rope landed neatly around the wolf's neck, and this time when it growled, the creature looked a little confused.
"Gotcha, sucker," West muttered, pulling the rope a little tighter.

HOwever the wolf took the momentary lapse of her backing off to head off into the woods again and Zurine sighed. That wolf was a tenacious creature now wasn't it.

As Zurine headed into the woods she found herself trekking a goodly distance without finding anything worthwhile. After a little bit she turned in a new direction to see what she could find that ways.

Yawning and walking, walking and yawning..for a good while it didn't seem like anything new or exciting was going to come her way. She had ot find a mount though..she couldn't bare the thought of returning to class empty handed. That would be horrible.

Despite her determination however it seemed the jungle had other things in mind because no matter where she looked Zurine couldn't see a single animal. Sighing slightly she changed directions again.

West approached the wolf. "Okay, c'mon now. All you dumb shits're gettin' on my last nerve." He reached out a hand to pat the creature on the back and it bristled, turning its head quickly to snap at the boil's fingers. West totally didn't flinch. All right, maybe he did.
