Peregrine.Elliott.Gray.Wellington.IV If you look like a pirate, then speak like a gentleman...
Gray straightened, patting his face dry before turning to Rose. He regarded the boy quietly, keeping his right eye squinted shut. "I didn't exactly go looking for her," he said. "And I'm not going to run off like a coward just because she speaks to me. Besides, she's a colleague. It would be rude and unprofessional. She's also a friend--just a friend." He pulled open a small drawer, pulling out a clean eye patch, turning to his small mirror to put it on.
"You needn't be so obviously jealous. Because, sorry to disappoint you Love, but she has a thing for another man." Finishing up with that, he went sit by Rose, giving him a slightly amused smirk. "So if I see you speaking to another man, do I get to pout and be jealous as well? Or is this a privilege reserved only for you?" ...and no one will notice you have a heart like a pirate too.

Colleague, friend, whatever. He was too busy thinking of ways to keep him away from anyone else to really care about his excuses. He thought about confining him to the wagon somehow, maybe by tying him down with chains, but he was sure his golems could free him. But they responded to verbal commands, right? Maybe he could gag him too...
"Hm?" He finally snapped out of his thoughts when he taunted him for acting 'jealous'. He wasn't being jealous. He was just ensuring that he would keep Mr. Gray to himself and that no one else could have him. As soon as he sat down next to him, he clung to him without even noticing it, subconsciously wanting assurance he wasn't going to get up and leave or anything. "No, you can't. I probably won't even talk to anyone because I'm going to be too busy making sure you stay away from her and everyone else." ❤═━.¸¸.•´¯`•.¸¸..¸¸.•´¯`•.¸¸..¸¸.•´¯`•.¸¸..¸¸.•´¯`•.¸¸..¸¸.•´¯`•.¸¸.━═❤

Peregrine.Elliott.Gray.Wellington.IV If you look like a pirate, then speak like a gentleman... "Rose, come on," Gray said, sighing as he slowly wrapped his arms around him. "I already told you the only reason I came back to the school was because you're here. Talking to someone else isn't going to change that." He laid his cheek against the top of Rose's head. That last line had sounded vaguely...threatening. He could just imagine Rose sitting over there planning to chain him up or something. And he definitely wasn't interested in that.
"Hey. You know, you can't keep me locked up somewhere. I mean, I'm certain you can try but I have got the whole wizard thing going on for me so you might find it a little difficult to keep me confined. So why don't you tell me what I can do to reassure you? I mean, I may not seem like it but I'm actually a rather devoted sort of man, you know." ...and no one will notice you have a heart like a pirate too.

In fact, he felt like a princess!... er, prince, being carried around, even if he was over its shoulder like a sack of potatoes. But that was fine. Well, at least until lightning struck overhead and he blacked out. Before he even knew what he was doing, he snapped back into reality when he felt the golem tightening its grip on him, trying to crush him.
He was stunned for a moment, not sure what he did to set the golem off, then squirmed in its grasp, trying to get away. Eventually, he managed to slip off its shoulder and immediately bolted to the wagon, slamming the door shut behind him just in case it would come after him. After letting out a long sigh of relief when it seemed like the golem wasn't that intent on crushing him to death, he looked around, wondering what he could do to pass the time.
Hm. Stuck all alone in the home of the person he stalked and obsessed over regularly. What could he possibly do? Of course, he immediately started snooping through anything and everything, being sure to throw a pair of boxers onto the bed to take with him later (since every time he said he already had one was just a bluff). And... ooohhh, what was that? He picked up what looked a lot like... a diary? Perfect. Best thing he could have possibly found!
As much as he wanted to read through the whole thing, he was worried that Mr. Gray would come in and take it from him. So, he pulled out his little notebook and a pencil and started copying everything down word for word, not only so he could read it later, but also so he could have his own copy to keep forever without Mr. Gray getting suspicious about it going missing. ❤═━.¸¸.•´¯`•.¸¸..¸¸.•´¯`•.¸¸..¸¸.•´¯`•.¸¸..¸¸.•´¯`•.¸¸..¸¸.•´¯`•.¸¸.━═❤

Peregrine.Elliott.Gray.Wellington.IV If you look like a pirate, then speak like a gentleman... Gray didn't chance going back to his wagon over night with Rose there. He slept in his dorm room--which rarely got any use--and waited until the storm had slowed to steady rain before taking a hot shower and finally heading back to check on him.
His golem was still standing guard outside when Gray reached the door, but moved aside at Gray's command. The door wasn't actually locked, Gray realized, as he turned the small knob and pushed it open. "Rose?" he asked quietly, stepping inside. "Everything alright? I hope it's safe to come in because I'm not standing out in the rain." He shut the door quickly just in case he was about to get tackled. With Colleen lurking about it was also probably safer to lock it as well--which he did immediately. He also latched the small chain just in case she developed magic lock-picking skills.
"Rose?" ...and no one will notice you have a heart like a pirate too.

He then spent the rest of the night reading what he copied, slightly annoyed that he tried to copy his writing as well, since it was so small and difficult to read. But, eventually he dozed off while reading it, waking up with a start when he heard the door knob turn.
He immediately glanced out a window through the slits, sighing in relief when he saw that it was only raining now. No storm. Well, that would explain why he wasn't fidgeting so much anymore and was actually able to sleep. He jumped up to his feet when the door opened, wondering how to greet him after he had just read his diary. He knew his thoughts now... This must have been how Chloe felt. ... Wait, she was psychic, right? Crazy psychic witch.
He watched as he locked the door, Mr. Gray's remark giving him an evil idea. He could totally attack him and use the weird incubus storm mode as an excuse! With an evil snicker, he latched onto him and tried to pull him back towards the bed. He knew he wasn't going to get anywhere, but he was sure it would be fun to see his reaction. ❤═━.¸¸.•´¯`•.¸¸..¸¸.•´¯`•.¸¸..¸¸.•´¯`•.¸¸..¸¸.•´¯`•.¸¸..¸¸.•´¯`•.¸¸.━═❤

gムd xDon't you know what's out there in the world? Someone has to shield you from the world. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Rain.. was dangerous. Gad didn't like the rain one bit and, even when he had wrapped himself up in the best raincoat he could find – even after he had duct-taped together three umbrellas and held them over him like a giant canopy of protection, he still didn't feel any safer. But, he had to check on the flowers! When the storm was in full bloom, Gad had been too afraid to leave the dorms to really do anything for the poor plants he was charged with. It wasn't that he didn't care – he just nearly passed out every time he heard the boom of thunder and.. and it was difficult to reach a doorknob when one was curled up on the floor. But, it had stopped booming so much and the rain wasn't as bad as it was before, so he finally found himself secure enough to venture outside.
Unfortunately, when he finally found the flowers, some of the younger ones were uprooted and tossed about. He had tried to plant them again in the mud, but his gloves got too.. horrifying to do much. So, the man walked with his head down and his hands covered in mud, holding onto a handful of the petunias that he couldn't save. He couldn't leave them to be made fun of by the other plants, so he would just have to.. keep them until it wasn't raining. He looked over to them apologetically, but, before he could finish that silent apology, his eyes met a strange sight indeed.
A wagon! He couldn't believe he hadn't noticed it before! It was so bright and red – like.. like a dangerous furious red scorpion about to sting him oh – No. No, it was.. friendly. Yes, friendly. He swallowed hard and noticed a door. Ah.. maybe someone lived in there..? He looked at the petunias again; maybe they could give the flowers a new home? He could only hope as he went up to the door and banged on it loudly, not wanting the rain to cover up the knock.

Gray didn't wholly protest when Rose tackled him and pulled him toward the bed. At least not yet. AFter all, they seemed to go through this just about every day. "I was expecting a more creative ambush," he teased. "After all, you haven't seen me in a full day, I thought you'd be a little happier--" He paused when, sure enough, moments after his arrival, a knock sounded at the door. No one sounded like they were trying to beat it down, though, so he assumed it wasn't Colleen.
Still...
"Blast," he muttered, untangling himself from Rose. He gave the boy a teasing grin. "Thwarted again, darling," he said, giving him a quick peck before straightening his clothes and going to unlock the door and pull it ope---holy hell! Random giant at the door.
"Y-yes?" he asked, looking up at the unfamiliar man. "Anything I can help you with, my good man?" ...and no one will notice you have a heart like a pirate too.

He regretted not just groping him or something. That always got reactions out of people, whether they were positive or negative. He was almost to the bed when he heard the loud knocking at the door, tightening his grip on Mr. Gray in response.
Honestly, every time he tried to do something, or even made it look like he was going to do something, they were interrupted. He frowned when Mr. Gray managed to free himself from his grip. The peck made it... a little better, but he was still irritated. He peeked from behind him when he opened the door, surprised to see... most of a giant. He couldn't quite see his face since he was so tall!
He scowled at him, extremely suspicious as to why he was at the wagon. People didn't usually come here unless they knew Mr. Gray... like that one b***h. Could this man... be trying to take him away as well? Other than him being huge, he had nothing to be afraid of. Since there was no irrational fear to hold him back this time, Rose wormed his way past Mr. Gray and lunged at the unknown man. ❤═━.¸¸.•´¯`•.¸¸..¸¸.•´¯`•.¸¸..¸¸.•´¯`•.¸¸..¸¸.•´¯`•.¸¸..¸¸.•´¯`•.¸¸.━═❤

gムd xDon't you know what's out there in the world? Someone has to shield you from the world. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Oh! A man did live inside! Gad's experience with the people at the school had been good so far, so there wasn't much reason for him to run away. Besides, he was a disabled man! Gad frowned at the eyepatch and, forgetting the flowers for one brief moment, went on to comment on it. After all, if the man had a bad eye, then Gad could help him replace it – the doctor should know as much as his previous doctor, after all!
But, before he could finish a word, a boy had stuck his way out infront of the older man. Ah – was.. it his son? He smiled at the boy and started out to nervously greet him – but then Gad's world exploded and he couldn't remember his left from his right. He felt contact – sudden, forced, aggressive contact on him and his heart threatened to tear itself out from his chest to run away since Gad was too stunned to move himself. His breathing stopped for a moment, then sped up into loud gasps as he quickly wrapped two large hands around the boy's leg and arm to throw him at the roof of the wagon as hard as he could – he didn't care where he ended up, just as long as it was anywhere that was away from him.▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Princes wait there in the world, it's true.xxxx Princes, yes, but wolves and humans, too.xxxxx

Peregrine.Elliott.Gray.Wellington.IV If you look like a pirate, then speak like a gentleman...
Oh...s**t. Gray didn't quite realize what Rose was doing until he'd already attacked the man at the door and even then, he felt the usual mild exasperation until he saw the look on the man's face as he grabbed Rose. And then Gray realized this might actually be very, very bad. He lunged forward, also grabbing Rose and trying to pull him off the man before the man...threw him all the way to China or something. "Let go!" he said. "Both of you let go before I get my golems over here to make you let go. Rose, dammit! What the hell are you thinking!? You do not just attack people who knock at my door and unless you want me to ban you from my wagon, you won't do it again."
"Just let the boy go," he told Gad. "I will take care of him. Just let...go."
It vaguely occurred to Gray that this could be another assassin. But something about the man made him think that wasn't the case. He wasn't emitting the whole, glaring, murderous aura thing that assassins tended to have. He looked like a sort of gentle, curious, happy, really tall guy that probably worked at the school somewhere.
Unfortunately, it looked like that wasn't going to stop him from defending himself from the deranged incubus Gray apparently kept in his wagon. ...and no one will notice you have a heart like a pirate too.

He quickly realized that that wasn't going to work thanks to the super thick raincoat...s? he was wearing. He immediately went for the neck instead, viciously yanking at his hair as well until he felt something grab his arm and leg. His hands were huge as well, but he refused to be intimidated as he clung to him.
He braced himself, feeling that he was just about to throw him when he felt Mr. Gray grab onto him as well, saving him from being tossed around. Perfect. That meant he could continue to attack. He didn't even register what he was saying, only knowing that he was shouting and probably upset. But that didn't matter, because he wanted this giant to know that Mr. Gray was his, and that he needed to back off.
Not about to back down without being forcibly removed from him, he bit and clawed at any exposed skin, making sure this man would have the worst experience of his life. ❤═━.¸¸.•´¯`•.¸¸..¸¸.•´¯`•.¸¸..¸¸.•´¯`•.¸¸..¸¸.•´¯`•.¸¸..¸¸.•´¯`•.¸¸.━═❤

gムd xDon't you know what's out there in the world? Someone has to shield you from the world. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Angry – was the man angry? Gad whimpered and released the boy the second the order was issued, not having the strength to throw the child anyway when he heard the strain in the older man's voice. He drew his hands up to himself and stammered under his breath – how did this go wrong so fast? He didn't mean to! He really didn't! He almost hurt that boy and even if the other wasn't directing his anger at him, he still knew he was part of the problem. He was the problem – the boy was still attacking him, he had made him upset and angry and.. and he didn't know what he had done.
He hiccuped as he stuttered out as best as he could, “A-a-ah, I-I, G-Gad, I-I'm s-sorry, sorry, I'm so s-sorry, I-I didn't – agh.” He bit his tongue hard as he saw one of his hands be bitten and scratched – OH GOD, he had to go. He couldn't stand there any longer, not when the germs were going to get him. He mumbled out another string of frantic apologies, though almost all of them could hardly be heard as he had quickly turned tail and ran as fast as his legs could carry him. He needed to hide and disinfect himself where everyone wasn't angry at him.

Peregrine.Elliott.Gray.Wellington.IV If you look like a pirate, then speak like a gentleman...
The man, Gad, managed to get away from Rose and Gray hung onto the boy to keep him from chasing after the man as he turned tail and fled. "No--you don't have to--Sorry about all this!" Gray called after him, making a mental note to go find him and apologize later on. But first, to deal with this idiot. Gray managed to wrangle Rose into a position he could grab both arms, and he slammed him against the front of the wagon, pinning him down so he could glare down at him.
"In what universe is it okay to attack someone like that?" he demanded. "I know you are weirdly determined to keep me to yourself and that's all good and well but not when you decide to attack some poor man just for knocking on my door, Rose. This is the second time I've had to pull you off someone. If it happens again, I will leave. Permanently."
"And I won't be taking you with me. But I am not going to stay here and be the reason you end up hurting someone so whatever inner obsession it is that's making you do this, I suggest you find a way to rein it in until you don't feel the need to physically abuse people just because they say hello."
He released Rose and stepped around him into the wagon, slamming the door shut and turning to put a small ward on the lock to keep Rose from getting in. Locking and latching the door, Gray sighed and shook his head. Honestly. What the hell?
He stood near the door listening, waiting for Rose to leave because the moment the boy was gone, Gray was going to go find that tall fellow and make sure he was alright. ...and no one will notice you have a heart like a pirate too.

But that pride was short lived when Mr. Gray suddenly grabbed him and pinned him to the side of the wagon, confused as to what was wrong. "Ow..." He mumbled and looked up at him, terrified that he looked so... angry.
He shrunk back as he was being scolded, but he knew that even if Mr. Gray didn't approve, he was still going to attack anyone who came near him. He was his and he didn't want anyone else near him. And he was stuck firmly in that mentality until he heard that threat. That horrible, horrible threat. He didn't pay attention to a word he said after that, too terrified by the thought of him leaving to care about anything else.
"Nooo! No! NO!" He tried to cling to him, but he was too late when Mr. Gray ended up slamming the door right on his face. He immediately started clawing at the door desperately, not caring at all if his nails cracked. After quickly realizing that wasn't going to help him get in, he grabbed the door knob and shook it, wishing he had brought his lock picking equipment with him. He slammed against the door and banged on it for a while afterwards, struggling to force it open, eventually tiring himself out. Not to mention the fact that his voice was sore and cracking from screaming 'no' so much.
He wasn't going to give up just yet though. He was going to get in whether Mr. Gray liked it or not. He needed something to bust through the door, and the first thing to come to mind: an ax. He was sure they had one laying around somewhere. Possibly at the stables? So, after catching his breath, he leaned close to the crack of the door and called through, "I'm coming in! I'm coming..." He wanted him to know, because if he dared try to leave while he was gone to get an ax, he was going to chase him down with it. No mercy.
And with that, he reluctantly left the wagon in search of an ax, determined to get in one way or another. ❤═━.¸¸.•´¯`•.¸¸..¸¸.•´¯`•.¸¸..¸¸.•´¯`•.¸¸..¸¸.•´¯`•.¸¸..¸¸.•´¯`•.¸¸.━═❤
