Kiden huffed lightly and swished his tail across the ground back and forth in front of Asa while watching the spar. Tenmei raised an eyebrow at the blue flame but only smiled and kept her stance, waiting for his move.

Kiden stiffened slightly and lifted his tail off the ground, lifting Asa up as well. Tenmei narrowed her eyes a bit and waited until he was closer before shifting her footing, slipping to the side and swung her leg out to trip Sho.

Tenmei bit her lip but crouched and caught the middle of Sho's shin with her hand, just out of reach of the flames around his foot. Acting quickly before Sho could move the flames again to burn her, she pushed his leg away to throw him off balance and aimed her foot at his chest.

Tenmei stiffened and stared back at Sho without trying to pull her foot out of his grasp. She had never seen him like this before, and to be honest, it actually scared her a bit. Mentally shaking the feeling off, she gritted her teeth. This was a spar, after all, and she should expect things to get serious (especially as Sho would gradually get better at fighting). Since he still had a hold of her foot, Tenmei clenched her hand into a fist, sending a medium-powered bolt of electricity through her body and into Sho's.

Tenmei bit her lip hard, making it bleed a bit. She stopped the electric current and tried yanking her foot away from him. He was either a: strong enough to keep a hold of her foot and stand still; b: able to hold onto her foot but be yanked to the ground; or c: just let go of her foot.

Tenmei jumped back away from the flames, her eyes locked on Sho. She pointed her left index finger at him with large sparks jumping around her fingertip. However, she didn't fire. Something caught her attention in the corner of her eyes and she turned and shot the bolts of lightning. The electricity shocked a giant ice barrier, blocking her real target. The target was male, which was determined due to the laughter coming from behind the barrier. "Noble Prince of Dawn and Beloved Witch of the North. How fares you both?..." Tenmei hissed and took a protective stance in front of Sho, blocking him from the barrier. "Looks like our spar will continue another day. Prince Sho, get back to the castle immediately. Kiden will make sure you get there safely," she said, a sort of ordering tone in her voice. At the mention of his name, Kiden trotted over to Sho and Tenmei with Asa still hanging on his tail.

"Well then I'm crazy. I'm sorry for the disrespect, my Prince, but you're going back to the castle," Tenmei said, her eyes on the man as well. The man was dressed in a dark robe with the hood up, shadows covering his eyes but it was clear he was snickering. "Aw, but my dear, why not let your prince stay and watch? I'm sure he will find some humor in your demise, and of course, he'll soon follow..." the man laughed. "You won't lay a hand on him, I'll be sure of that..." Tenmei then took off towards the man, and the two were in a close-combat magic fight: a mix of punches and kicks with both close-range and distance attacks of electricity and ice shards. While they began their fight, the griffin nipped at Sho's hand like he had done earlier to get him to come to the library, but this time it was slightly harder.
