Escarelia, of course, went into 'big sister' mode and reached over, patting the hand that Atari was holding her other hand with. "No, no, don't worry!" She smiled, resting her hand over his. "We're not lost! Don't worry, don't worry. The malls not that big."

Atari looked to Esca for a long moment before smiling brightly and hugging her tight. You're really nice, I like you! he purred, letting her go after a moment, retaking her hand in his own before gesturing past her. Is that someplace that would have pretzels? he asked, directing her attention to a small cart equipped with a large toaster oven and a freezer compartment.

Escarelia, used to hugs in her touchey-feely family, still blushed slightly, but smiled. "Well, I'm glad you do!" She smiled. "You're nice too!" Then she blinked and looked over at the cart. "Hmmmmm it might!"

Let's go see? Atari asked, smiling still as he glanced between Esca and the vendor. He paused, his smile shrinking just slightly as he looked at her blush. Is something wrong? he asked, his voice conveying a childish fear.

"Allrighty," Escarelia nodded, then blinked. "Wrong? Oh, nothing wrong!" She smiled, placing her free hand over one of her cheeks. "Ah, it's just been awhile since someone hugged me from outside of my family."

Oh! I'm sorry! Atari squeaked, laughing some as he stood with Esca still. I like to hug people - I think it annoys my brothers and sisters. He wrinkled his nose in thought before offering a smile, and a shallow purr as he pulled her along towards the vendor.

She smiled. "Don't worry! I like to hug people too, though I don't usually do it to people I've met recently." She smiled and walked alongside him. "It's good to be friendly. Hugs can help all sorts of problems! Er, get better not worse. Well, I suppose they could get worse too...goodness, I should just be quiet." She laughed at herself a little, smiling.

If hugs made things worse, I'd feel really bad about hugging people! Atari whimpered, sort of covering his face, letting go of Esca's hand to do so as they made their way across the corridor. Hugs should make people better, because better is ... better. he laughed, shaking his head to himself for getting so flustered. When they reached the vendor, a young girl greeted them from the other side, wearing a red apron over some casual clothes, and offered to take their order. Before her on the counter of the cart was a page taped down, lists of items and prices for what she offered to sell. Atari looked over the list after greeting the girl in return, and pointed to where the pretzels were listed. Parmigan is cheese, right? he asked Esca, blushing faintly as the vendor giggled to herself.

"Ah, yes..." Escarelia smiled, and blinked as he asked her the question. "Um...I think so?" She blushed slightly, not really sure herself.

The vendor informed Esca and Atari that if they wanted something cheesy, she not only had the parmigan pretzels, but she offered a cheese sauce rather like nacho cheese that she could sell them. Atari pondered this, eyeing the list of items she sold before smiling to Esca. Wanna get a plain pretzel and get cheesy sauce to dunk it in?

Atari turned back to the vendor, opting to buy himself and Esca each their own pretzel. He looked over the machine housing the frozen drinks and smiled, shifting his attention to Esca another moment. Do you want a freezy drink too? he asked, gesturing to the blue and red swirling slushes.

Are you sure? Atari asked, somewhat pouty as he looked to Esca a moment longer before looking back to the vendor. Maybe a small of each flavor! he purred, and offered the girl the money to pay for their snacks. She took the money and gave them their pretzels and cheese sauce in little cardboard boxes, and filled Atari's freezy order too, offering those up. Atari nodded to her and smiled brightly to Esca as he stepped away from the cart. Wanna find a bench to sit on or something, now? he asked, not sure where else they'd really be able to sit and eat.

"Yes yes, I'm sure." She said, smiling, with a small nod. "And yes, unless we want to stand up to eat." She chuckled and looked around until, lo and behold, she spotted a bench, next to a potted plant. "There's a bench!"
