Everyone
You see Payne holding a huge gattling gun on his shoulder with a large ammo belt hanging out. He is facing six cybernetic wolf like creatures. They look as though they have been spawned from the pits of hell, and considering they came from the under the surface, it wouldn't be far from the truth. They hold their distance from Payne, circling him. The roar of his gun starts again, and it looks like it is spraying solid fire. He manages to down two before his shower of lead is cut short by the dreadful sound of his ammo belt running dry. He angrily shouts out words in a foreign tougue that you KNOW are curse words of some sort.

Seeing the cybernetic wolves, I am a bit hesitant to go outside, but I take a deep breath and force myself out and unleash a strong gust at one of the wolves to topple it over.

I level my rifle at one of the hounds, and fire off a round, bound for it's head.

He waits to see what the others attacks will do before rushing in like a idiot.

From just looking at the mechanical creatures in front of him and his new squad John had a pretty good guess that they were mainly melee by the look of them. Noticing others using ranged attacks John decided to take a defencive tactic instead of running in and possibly being shot at accidentely, as he was not a sit still fighter, so as much as he dident want to be a medic again he helped keep everyone alive with a few healing spells.

The hound you were aiming at leaped towards Payne, but was struck down in midair as your bullet pierced it's skull.
Carolyn
Your mighty gust sends a hound barreling into another, knocking them both down
Everyone
You caught their attention. The two Carolyn knocked down stand, and the remaining one starts to circle her. Lance can easily tell from his knowledge of wolves that it is waiting to coordinate a strike on her...

He looked over and rushed turning his right arm into a straight sword"Make sure those other two don't rush!"he said to Steve and Blake as he attempted to thrust his right arm into the wolf circling Carolyn

I eye the wolf circling me nervously, shifting the whole time so that I remain facing it. I try to prepare a spell but find myself unable to focus enough to do so, and then I realize I don't even have a book with me to protect myself with, so I just watch the wolf carefully and prepare to dodge if need be.

I throw a nod at lance and takes out his battle hammer eyeing the two wolfs fiercly, trying to not give them any windows for a attack.

I load another round, and fire it at another hounds head. Hopefully that hipshot will distract it.

You manange to cut a gash into it's side and get it's attention. It does a quick lunge at you, though your strike threw it off course, making it so thats claws gashed your leg rather then your chest.
Carolyn
You see Lance take this blow for you, and you start to fear for his life. A familiar sensation surges over you, it feels powerful, but overwhelming... You may try to resist if you wish.
If you so choose, you may enter hystaria mode, roll a d6 to see how many rounds you are unconscious if you do
Steve
Your round hits one in the shoulder, thought the damage doesn't seem signifigant. you did, however, succeed in distracting the two. They start to charge toawrds you.
John
You see the two wolves dash towards Steve. One gets awefully close to you, offering you a rather tempting opportunity to strike it.

He quickly changes his other arm into a hooked sword and attempts to slash the tip of it into the wolfs neck"DAMN IT NO LOVE FOR A FAMILY!"

"Oh, hell! These things move fast!" I reload my gun while trying my best to get away from them. Knowing full well I can't shoot a sniper rifle and run at the same time, I don't try.

As the two wolfs move from there positions and towards steve one gets close to me as it is moving, seeing as this was a good time as any to do anything I hit the side of its body with a strong swing with my hammer knocking it to the side farther from steve.

I gasp in shock as I see Lance get attacked. I try to resist the feeling of entering Hysteria mode is best as I can, but realizing that in this state I can't do anything to help him, I give in and let myself pass out.
