The Lurker Darkness. The black abyss that always seems to struggle with light. It recedes and sets in once a day, a never ending struggle which will awards neither side victory. Deep inside his conscience, Lurker was awake, but asleep. Minutes were hours and days were seconds, and all the while he lay there, thinking, feeling his body attempt to put itself back together. He knew he had been recovered by someone, and his wounds bound, but he needed to heal a little before he could come out from his head. His brain damage was worse than he thought, and if it had to contain his being conscience and sacrifice some of the healing, then his healing would take twice as long, or he risked serious damage to his mind. Minutes to hours, days to seconds...The mind had reached almo0st full capacity again, some would most likely never heal, but it could handle his conscience, and he had to contact whoever it was that had saved him. The darkness receded, light played at the edge of his vision, and he could truly feel again. He opened his eyes, looking at the scene. He lay in his safehouse, the boy and girl were talking not so far from him. He listened for a time, better to grasp at the current predicament than to make them feel better a few minutes sooner. Then he heard her outline her plan, and a few other comments. "The issure isn't where you need to go," he said, sounding so weak he suprised himself. "The issue is whether you'll live when you get there..." He paused, letting the shock of his voice set in and his words carry further. Now, on to personal matters. "Girl, just what do you think I am? Your hesitation shows that you think I am something I'm not, and to confuse me with such is a little bit of an insult."

"I don't mean to insult you, but I honestly have no clue what you are. I don't know any creature that bleeds smoke.." Tsuki glared at him. Rusty jumped and growled at a window. Tsuki picked up one of Terrance's knives and hummed it out the window, lodging it into a zombie's head. She let out a light sigh, which sounded like a growl. Rusty's ears flattened against his head and he laid flat on the ground, letting out a whimper. She looked at Lurker. "Since it's an insult for me to not know what the h*ll you are, would you mind shedding some light on the situation?" She glared at him again and shoved her machete, which she'd found a few days before this journey, into the ground of the safehouse. "Tell me, or we stay here and I make sure you don't heal."

Terrance Thright Terrance sat back and watched everything going down. 'We can't stay here to long,' he though to himself, 'Cody saw our direction it won't take him long to find us.' He sat there with a tight grip on his too katana's. 'Please Lurker make the right choice and tell her. We have to go soon,' he thought to himself again.

The Lurker "Cody is dead, though by his own hands. I only got a single hit in, then he detonated some c4 he had with him, destroying himself." he gave a weak, wheezing cough, then looked at the girl once more. "It's not important what I am, girl. Just know that I never have,or will consume human flesh." he ignored the last part of her statement, it was out of turn and quite rude. To acknowlage her misbehavior wouldn't help anything, and she wasn't cold enough to kill a living creature for no reason.

Terrance Thright Terrance sighed and stood up, "We got company." He took his two katana's as a small horde of slow zombies began running his way. He throw his katana's into the ground by his feet and pulled out his pistol. He fired ten rounds hitting nine zombies in their heads and watched them as they fell. "Over shot that last one," he said with a smile. He throw his pistol and ran towards the horde grabbing his katana's on the way.

Tsuki glared at Lurker for a moment longer. Then Rusty let out a small bark and broke her concentration. She sighed and her voice dropped to a low monotone. "Just tell me you're some government experiment.. or an alien from another planet, like off of old movies or something.." She started going through her bag. She didn't wait for an answer, and she wasn't really sure she wanted one anymore. "How fast do you heal?" She pulled out the blue case and stared at him. She motioned for Rusty help Terrance. The black wolf took off and followed the trail of bullets and blood. *Rusty* He ducked beneath one of Terrance's katana swipes and jumped at a zombie. He clawed at its eyes and pushed it to the ground. Then he looked at Terrance, growling and running at him. Rusty ran between his legs and tackled the rather large slow zombie behind him. He bit at the zombie's throat and cracked its neck. He turned, standing beside Terrance and waiting for what was next.

Terrance Thright After all the zombie's were dead Terrance walked back inside sat down and began to clean his katana's. "That was fun," he said putting them away and reloading his gun. "We can we leave I'm bored again," he looked at the Lurker and cocked the gun.

The Lurker "Apparently, I don't heal fast enough, because I'm still lying here when I should be helping." He painfully propped himself up, so he could see more than he could before. "If it means so much, I'm technically still human." he commented, holding her gaze.

"Fine." Tsuki popped open the case and pulled out the growth serum syringe she'd shown Terrance. She looked at Rusty, then Lurker. "Where do we go next? And how far until we get there?" She uncapped the needle and flicked it a couple times. Rusty watched her and sat, ears perked and tail still.

Terrance Thright Terrance held up the device that Lurker gave him, "I'll lead you where we have to go it's not that far a couple of miles at the most." He looked at Tsuki, "So worry about getting him ready to go, and quickly we got company coming." He stood up grabbed his stuff, and waited on Tsuki.

Tsuki nodded. "Alright. Let's see.. A few miles on foot. Possibility of fighting. So... half a day probably." She looked at Rusty. "Better plan for an entire day just to be sure." Rusty walked over and stood next to her. She ran her hand along his back, over his legs, and over his face. "You ready for this?" The wolf panted. Tsuki pulled the skin on his neck and stuck him with the needle. She injected three-fourths of the syringe. She pulled it out and put it back in its cover and the case. Rusty threw his head back, snarling and growling. He jumped on his back feet, backing up til he hit a wall and falling to his side. The wolf rolled around, pawing at his face. Then he stopped and lay still. The fur on his legs and face seemed to bubble. The skin on his stomach bubbled. Muscles tightened and contracted and his claws extended. His fur seemed to get longer and fluffier. Then he stopped moving. Tsuki stared, glancing and Terrance and Lurker. Then the wolf stirred. Rusty lifted his head, which was now quite a bit larger. He yawned and stood, standing as tall as Terrance. Tsuki looked at Lurker. "Ready?"

The Lurker After seeing that his services were no longer required for now, he decided it'd be best to stay revert into his subconscience, to allow time to pass and himself to get better. He made note that the two knew where they were going, then let out a sigh, going unconscience once more.

"Terrance, can you help me with him? Rusty lay." She touched the massive wolf's ear. He laid on his belly. She looked around, spotting a coil of rope. She tied a section of it around Rusty's ribs and left the end hanging. "We can use this to keep him up." Tsuki grabbed Lurker's arm, pulling him up. She motioned for Terrance to grab his other arm so they could get him onto Rusty.

Terrance Thright Terrance helped Tsuki pull the Lurker onto Rusty's and tie him down. He got all his equipment on and then turned back to Tsuki. "When shall we leave," he asked.

Tsuki pulled her bag onto her shoulder. She shoved a knife into the side of her boot. She grabbed one of her pistols and stuck it in the back of her pants, beneath her shirt. Then she put her sai into holders on her hips. She smiled at Terrance. "Never too prepared, right? Let's go." She checked the ropes once more, then placed a hand just behind Rusty's ear. She pushed gently on the back of his jaw. "Come on boy." She looked at Terrance as the wolf took a step, breathing deeply. "Lead the way."
